We went to Wayne Ale House this past weekend, since it was owned by the same person that owns Little Falls Tavern, where we had previously gone. We understood (incorrectly) that they shared a Menu and was a larger facility with parking, which Little Falls did not have. When we viewed the Menu, we found it limited to Pizza and Sandwiches (Little Falls offered a steak and several chicken entrees). We ordered Pizza and Wings, along with Beer and Wine (not what we intended). Pizza was good, Wings were not, decent selection of Craft Beer. I guess I should have read the Menu online. Found a new winner in the area at the site of the former Greenhouse Cafe where I may have had a beer or two back in my college years. Wayne Ale and Pizza just opened so stopped by today for lunch after reading about the chef that opened it. Beautifully redone, bar area top floor with lots of TVs and about 10-12 rotating beers on tap and the selections were great. Apparently downstairs opening soon so large location. Looks like a great place to watch some Sunday football. Menu was simple - ordered the meatballs and fried mooz as an app and a pepperoni personal pie to split. All scratch made and absolutely fantastic. Sauce was great, flavors perfect and nice char on the pie. Server was amazing, fantastic all around experience for a place that's only been open 3 weeks. New place In wayne that we were finally able to try . They redo it beautifully. Very modern and a craft beer bar type fell. Really pretty inside especially compared to what it used to look like! The menu is small. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, a garden salad and a large pie with half olives. The salad was very blah mostly a bowl of romaine with a few big not so great chunks of tomato. We asked for the Bleu cheese dressing. BIG disappointment it was cheap gelatinous mayo tasting . It actually had a yellow tint to it . We couldn't eat it and asked for balsamic instead. The sprouts were good could have been a little more crispy but decent taste, would get them again, the pizza was very tasty. We are not big on pizza that isn't thin crust but this was very good, the slices are huge though and I only made it through one slice and my boyfriend did two before we gave up and took the rest home. I think this place is going to be VERY good once it gets its bearings. It's new so there are kinks to work out. One thing I would suggest is better table wear. When you are paying that much for pizza they can do a little better than the cheap white plastic plates and the paper plates. That was a big turn off especially seeing how nice they had redone the place it was like they gave up at the end, the plastic cups for water as well definitely need an upgrade! We will wait a little before we go back but we definitely will give it another try because the pizza was so good read more

I don't write a lot of reviews unless it is well deserved. This place is fantastic. The best damn pizzas I have had in a long time for this kind of I guess NYC + Saint Louis type pizza. I could not stop munching on the airy crispy crust. Their wings, man, they were great. Medium size, crunchy on the outside, nicely cooked. We ordered garlic-parm wings, it was so good, drenched in garlic. I would probably ask them to do that with fries next time as well. I was not a great fan of buffalo sauce I ordered on the side just to taste it, it tasted somewhat generic; maybe it was lacking some butter. Now I am here talking about the condiments, as well - their blue cheese sauce that comes with the wings actually has chunks of blue cheese in it. That was also fantastic; I was licking the container it came on. All of these went so well with the blonde ales I had. Their prices are also right, not cheap, not over priced either. They do not have a wide variety of food or the beer that you have to scour the menu to figure out what you want, but they have exactly enough with fantastic stuff. The service was quick, food came out before my second beer (and I drink pretty quickly). I will certainly be visiting more often now, and I hope they will maintain the service and food quality. read more

I'm giving four stars since we had a really good time at Bar Bingo last week and everyone liked the pizza. I personally was disappointed to learn that they use chicken stock in the marinara sauce so I did not have any pizza. The food is all fried and typical bar food which I think is so dated and unhealthy, but people seem to enjoy it. I was really hoping for better, healthier options when it first opened. I don't eat meat, fish or dairy so I ended up bringing my own food which is fine by me. I am very picky and don't want to chance cross contamination. I saw a post or a reel that this place opened up & since it was so close to home I had to try it out. Husband & I came here with our two kids to grab dinner after swimming. Place was packed but comfortably enough to sit us with no wait. There were lots of families who had the same idea for dinner with their kids. You want in & there is a nice bar area and then tables to the right and up ahead. We ordered the cheesy garlic knots and meatballs as appetizers. The sauce was perfection - the right amount of garlic and fresh tomatoes. My 4 year old devoured the knots & the 1 year old couldnt eat the meatball fast enough. I wasn't able to get pictures fast enough. We ordered a 24" pie with black olives & pepperoni as toppings - the crust was nice & thin and the pizza was delicious. They have a full bar & cocktails too. Highly recommend this new spot & I plan on coming back here soon!! read more

This is just my opinion about the bar area: Not a good experience. I was hoping for a nice evening with my friends, instead what we experienced was neglect. We were disappointed with our bartender. well that was a one and done. service was almost non existent, was there 2 1/2 hours and could only get service enough for 2 beers with our meals, which by the way, dont insult me by charging .50 cents for a side of honey mustard, maybe if someone asks for an excessive amount but 1 with our fries.i didnt use ketchup so youre still up .50 cents. to me thats a slap in the face. and a bad way to run a business by nickel and diming guests. read more

Good LARGE pizza and friendly service. Nice thin crust slices that are huge. Also had the meatballs and wings which were good as well. The only drawback is that all the food came out luke warm/coldish and I prefer my food piping hot. I'd definitely go back but would make sure the server brings things out as soon as ready. read more

If I could say one statement it would be it's in the works . As expected with a new restaurant there are things that need to be ironed out . We are grateful they could take a larger party and it was great to see how busy it was with just recently opening. The ambiance was great. Beer menu was interesting, but confusing once we reached the online menu. Pizza great ! Loved the super size pizza and the 24" def was a surprise.the mozz was ok and pub fries were great. Wings need some work , there's something missing. The meatballs sizes vs price doesn't equate again felt like something was missing. The chicken fingers were past well done almost burnt , but those we could taste were good. The service needs help, every part of it felt chaotic , from seating us , taking our order and when the food was brought to us , we had multiple people that brought something wrong or confused about what flavors the items were . Its tough to have a large party be by yourself and with all the noise of the atmosphere. the waitress looked nervous and to top it off at the end when we went to pay we provided cash and a card , the card was charged and the cash was sent back to us. When we asked why they stated they were confused. Our suggestion please ask next time. Training needs to improve on every angle. But I look forward to seeing it grow. read more

Glad we found the Wayne Ale House. We were in the area for a hockey tournament. Location is less than 10 minutes from the rink. Pizza was excellent and they have a good selection of beers, apps and other items on the menu. Lots of large tvs for sports. We sat at the bar and the service was great always asked us if we were good and if we needed anything else. We went on a friday night and the live entertainment was amazing too. We decided to try the Wayne Ale House and see what it was like. First let me start with we will go back to try the pizza which we did not try. We started with the chicken wing appetizer and they were the standout of the night. Done well and brought out blue cheese for me and ranch for my wife. We did not feel like pizza so looked at the menu. It is a very limited menu. My wife had the smash burger which can only be e done one way so you cannot order medium rare but that was not an issue. But she felt there was nothing special about the burger and good have used a little more of the sauce. I had the very unique steak sandwich which includes having the French fries in it. Once again was done one way. It is a unique sandwich but tends to be a bit dry and had to add ketchup to it. I always deduct 1/2 a star for restaurants who charge different prices for cash and credit so without that they are close to a 4 star. They have a very extensive beer menu and a large selection of draft beers. We will go back and try the pizza which looked good but the non pizza menu was not our favorite, but if the rest of the appetizers are as good as the wings we look forward to trying them. read more

Place is great! Large bar safes with plenty of seats and high tops as well. Plenty of large screen TVs for Sunday fundays. The bartenders were great. bar tables for 2 were very small considering how big some of their pizzas could be. the 24" was ginormous! it looked so good but i opted for my own personal. i think it looks better than it tastes. sauce wasn't to my liking for a pizza. service was decent, our waitress was nice but it did get busy later on in the night. read more

Have had takeout a few times from here and the food is excellent. The pizza is really good and it's great it's a smaller menu so everything is quality. Lots of tvs and nice big windows definitely will be a great place for football season and for any sports. All of the staff are very friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a try for anyone in Wayne and it's nice to have another local restaurant. Only downside is they use peanut oil in their cooking so for anyone with allergies you will have to stay away. read more

Went there on a Saturday morning, first table in the door. Total of 8 in the party, 4 adults and 4 kids. Ordered a few drinks based on QR code they said to scan as they just updated the drafts. Waiter came back after a few and advised the beer I ordered ran out. Kind of disappointing since they said it was JUST updated. Ordered another beer that I saw was on draft when I walked in, no issues with that one. Ordered a few apps and 2 pies for table. The Brussels sprouts was baked, not fried with very light seasoning. My daughter who usually will have some did not like them at all, too mushy and not enough flavour. Chicken tenders for the kids came out, which was flattened chicken breasted, lightly coated and fried with some seasoning so was not the generic frozen tenders they pull from a bag and toss in the fryer. Fries could have been a little more cooked as most were all greasy and not crispy. Loaded fries looked decent but I did not try. Our other friend ordered a garden salad for his main and that was very disappointing to him. I know this is a pizzeria and not a full fare American restaurant but when you order a garden salad that does not mean just romaine, half a red onion and croutons. He made a joke that they must have made a mistake and gave him someone else's burger toppings as a salad. Seriously could have just put some carrots, cucumbers or even a tomato in there. One of our party ordered a calzone and it looked like a flattened panini and a clumped mess of cheese. The pizzas came out and we did order one of the 24 inches so that was a healthy portion and also very good. The crust was thin, crispy and nicely cooked. So the main dish of the restaurant was good but they definitely need to rethink alot of the decisions with the "restaurant" Also what they provided as table wear was paper takeout container for the salad and paper plates for everything else, but regular forks and knives, giving off conflicting impressions. Is this supposed to be a nice sit down restaurant or take out pizzeria. It feels like they spent more time on the decor to make it instagram friendly than the actual thought of the food. They should also consider turning down the music for a Saturday lunch service as there really is no need for music to be that loud when most of your tables are probably going to be families with kids. Overall we love to try to support our small local businesses but with so many pizzerias in town there's really nothing that stand out except they have a 24 inch pie and a very impractical big slice pie.
