Wasted the 2-hour round trip. The second star was because I had previously purchased parts from them and I found that the guys in the Parts Department were very friendly and helpful. So I figured I would give them a chance to sell me a motorcycle - which is my purpose for making the long trip over the mountain. I found the bike I like and asked the 2 closest staff for information (the bikes did not have any tags). The two played hot potato so I went and used their restroom first. When I came back to the same bike, with my helmet and riding jacket in hand, nobody seemed very motivated to want to deal with me. So I left and have decided to see if I can make the purchase from Village Motorsports, 23436 Constitution Hwy, Unionville, VA 22567 instead. I was on an 1800-mile dual sport trip and overestimated how much tread life my front tire had. Please read service reviews for this business! Would not recommend. We attempted to resolve issue with owner 3 different occasions and contacted and reported to BBB! No resolution reached and owner was rude and of course no good customer service. Took in my 2007 vstar 650 for a tune up. Absolutely nothing was wrong with my bike! After 2 days they called said its ready ($460 later). Husband rides it on our trailer and it is pouring out white smoke. He was told the wrong oil was put in. They take the bike to rechange oil and stated it would be ready next day. We get a call late Saturday saying bike was ready. I get my bike home (on trailer) and ride it down our road; not even 1/4 a mile and it starts pouring out white smoke again. We contact the shop again and report the problem. The "master tech" tells my husband "well we don't know what you did to it after you took it." He finally agrees for us to drop bike back off to "hopefully fix what was done to it." 2 days pass, we hear nothing. We call and leave messages and recieve no calls. Wednesday, Tech calls saying there is nothing wrong with my bike. I ask to speak to the owner. Owner says smoke maybe coming from a faulty O ring. O ring and carb cleaning was replaced and done by them. 20 minutes later, tech calls saying "bike is done" and hangs up on me. The smoking was not present when we arrived so we assumed problem was corrected. On our ride home the bike starts idling funny (ranging from loud/barely idling). Cuts off 4 times before we made it to safely. Pipes were extremely hot and discoloration extending down the exhaust. I called the shop the 2nd time the bike cut out on us from the side of the road. Left a voicemail explaining. Husband calls over next 4 days to get answers (left 3 voicemails in-between Tuesday-Friday. We had to take my bike to another shop to get fixed. Due to adjustments made to my carbs it caused the bike to run rich which caused the fuel pump to burn out. New place repeated the same work because it was not done properly. Waynes did not even complete all services offered in the service package I paid for. We contacted waynes cycle to discuss options. All owner said was it probably needed the work anyway. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing outcome for us, and of course, it's our word against theirs so take what you want from it. I would highly recommend taking pictures/video of your bike and mileage before you allow services to be done here. I learned that lesson with this experience. I thought I'd try somewhere else for my service as the place I normally go to can be a little slow. So I booked my bike in at Wayne Cycle for August 22nd 2020. As the Monday was a holiday, on August 19th 2020 I rode my bike to Wayne Cycle to drop it off for a state inspection and a basic service. I also mentioned that the choke had to be left on a tiny amount, within a hair of completely off or the bike slowly drops rpm. It's just something it has always done since I got it around 4-5 years ago. It took a week or two for someone to call, but when they did they said the carb needed rebuilding. I discussed this with my wife and gave the go ahead the next day. Over a month later I hadn't heard anything so I called and the person I spoke to couldn't give me any information on the status of the bike, they said they'd get someone to call me back. 1 week later, no callback, so I call them back. The person I spoke to wasn't sure, but thought I'd been in the shop to discuss finding a part on ebay "the other day". I told him I wouldn't have driven 45 minutes there to discuss something that could have been done over the phone, so it wasn't me. He said he'd get someone to call me back. 2 days later I called them back as no one had called me. I spoke to someone that said that the carb was cracked and that I should source a replacement carb and also said to email them information on anything I find so that they could confirm it would work. I did this the same day as I didn't want to lose out on the part. I also asked for a picture of the damage as I and relatives found it hard to believe that I could have ridden the bike there without issue with a cracked carb. Plus I'd been riding the week before taking it in. I also asked about cost options, if they could just put it back together so I could drive it back home and some other options. I chased up as I hadn't heard anything and there was no response. October 24th 2020, I chased up again and finally got somewhere. They said it would be unsafe to put it back together, said the price would be the same as originally quoted if I could find the part. By this time the carb I'd found had been sold and I've not located another yet. I also asked for a picture of the damage again and queried again how I could have driven my bike with out issue beforehand, still nothing. It's now December 7th 2020, I've not heard anything from them, no picture, no answers since the last correspondence. I would strongly advise avoiding Wayne Cycle at this point. read more

Recently bought my new TE300 from Wayne Cycle shop and was very pleased with the experience. The sales and finance staff were helpful and willing to help me get the bike tagged appropriately, and the manager - Adam - was an incredibly help for a guy buying his first two stroke. Wayne was able to jet my new bike to fit the kind of riding I do, and he gave me a lengthy overview on how to take care of the bike properly. In addition, the staff at Wayne is always available over the phone to answer my dumb questions. I look forward to getting my bike serviced here when I inevitably put it into a tree or rock - something that I'm sure will happen all too soon. I dont know when I'll get tired of my new TE300 - it's a real blast - but when I do I'll be buying my next Husqvarna from Wayne Cycle shop. read more

I went to Wayne Cycle in Waynesboro, VA to have a new front tire put on my motorcycle. They charged $91! I didn't even pay that much for the tire. I asked if the price would have been the same if I hadn't brought in my own tire (bought online elsewhere), but they said "no". What a ripoff! The last time I had *automobile* tires put on, they were about $20 each tire. read more

Worst experience I've ever had at a bike shop, by far. Long story short, they took three weeks longer than I was told (to do some pretty simple jobs to a Kawasaki KLR), and my bike still wasn't road ready. It came time for me to leave town within the next week, so I pulled the bike, unfinished, and brought it elsewhere, afraid of how much longer it would have been at Wayne Cycles. Once per week after the due date, I'd call and politely inquire. "We just got the part in". I heard that every week. Wait, didn't you say that two weeks ago???? Don't waste your time or hard earned money here. At least not in the service department... If I could take stars away on this review, rather than a one star, I absolutely would. read more

I'll try to keep this short... My wife and I were spending the weekend in the Shenandoah from DC. We rode down on my 2017 T120. After spending an afternoon riding around the country we arrived in the town of Crozet, VA (45 min from our cabin) to stop in at a brewery. Just as we were about to park, we got a flat tire. It was a Saturday around 3:30 pm. I had a plug kit with me but was unaware that the tire also had a tube. I called Wayne's Cycle Shop 10 minutes before they closed and explained our situation. I spoke with Darrel Ruppel. He checked to see if they had any tubes that would fit. Luckily they did but they were about 15-20 miles from where I was and it was now closing time (4pm and closed on Sundays). Darrel understood the situation we were in and decided to stay open after hours to help us out instead of going home to his family. He got the address and showed up 45 minutes later with a trailer for the bike. He took us another 45 minutes back to the shop where we met Steve Gabbert, the mechanic. Steve was also staying late to help us out. They replaced the tube and got us back on the road within 45 minutes. We were so impressed by their generosity, understanding, and compassion. These are stand-up guys. Next time I'm in town, you can be sure I'll stop in to say hi and thank them again. read more

The worst shop I've ever been to. I have been riding for 5 years and been in a lot of shops but this was hands down the worst place I've ever been. I called ahead and made an appointment to get my 2005 CBR 600 RR an oil change, inspected, and to replace the battery (which I already had). 4 hours later, I get an oil change, they don't pass the inspection because they don't recognize my tires, and they take the battery I bought and make me pay for a new one because the one I bought from AutoZone "didn't fit" (even though we installed the same battery on my friends bike a day before). The fun part is, the battery they sold me was dead. 4 hours and $250 later I had an oil change, a bike that didn't start or pass inspection, and a dead battery I couldn't use. read more
