I never thought I would say anything bad about this location, but my most recent visit was not great, a big line upon arrival was normal, the line moved pretty quick, you now order and pay before you ever sit down. We chose the inside, the music was so loud we could barely hear ourselves think, the food was great and there was almost no waiting period, no one checked on us until we were finished eating. I brought guests from Austria and I actually couldn't wait to leave because of the noise and the music. All in all, it's more like a factory than a diner now and I doubt if I'll be returning. read more

Aside from the delicious food, this place is fun so well. Very minimal wait time for everything and we came during a prime time of lunch when there were many people ahead of us. When they said it would be a 5 minute wait, it was hard to believe they could follow through. Amazingly, they made it happen. Right through the doors, you place your order and then get escortes to your seat. We sat outside by the landing and it was such a fun place to sit and see the different planes. The food came out so quick and the portions are pretty big. The food was tasty and definitely do not sleep on the shakes. Great food! Amazing service! And an exceptional open, friendly and welcoming ambiance. Great for kids as well. The manager even told us to have the kids run around the yard and come back and forth as needed. My coffee got refilled many times, which is always a plus. Finally, the food- we got the veggie omelette, Belgian waffles, oatmeal and the enchilada omelette. So good!! I would recommend each of those items. Great presentation as well. All of the food was gone :) As for sides, we got the hash browns, scrambled eggs, and potatoes. The hash browns were the best and now I know what I will get next time. Ordering- You order at the front and then they seat you and bring you your food so I would suggest checking out the menu ahead of time. Food- 1) Smokehouse BBQ Burger with Fries- Good and I would get it again. 2) Baja Tacos was the special of the day- Pretty good but I would try something else the next time. We love going here but the lines just are the biggest downfall. The new process of ordering your food is ok. Better than before. You basically have to decide what you want, wait in line and then order at the counter and be seated. 2x I have been skipped. The staff is friendly but there is just zero order. I've came here twice and both times were amazing! I came for the breakfast options and coffee. The French toast was sweet and packed with cinnamon. I like how the sweet white sauce was under the toast and not on top. The chorizo burrito was balanced with the right amount of chorizo filling. I felt that it didn't need the salsa so I didn't use it. The California Omelette was an all around flavor bomb! The epic bite with the toppings on the omelette was soo damn good. The guacamole has the nice acidity and taste for balance and pop on your taste buds. This time the salsa paired well with the omelette and used it all. The potatoes are cooked and seasoned well. The coffee isn't too bad here and the servers keep refilling your cup which is amazing. With that being said the servers all check up on you and have great smiles that welcome you in and will always bring you back. I was in town for a few days and decided to look for a well reviewed breakfast spot and discovered the Waypoint. Seeing the long line as I parked made me a little nervous about the wait time - but it also encouraged me that this must be a banging place! I was in line for about 10 to 15 minutes - once at the reception station, they asked if I wanted to eat outside or in, I chose outside... and then placed my order, paid and then was seated. I loved how efficient this process was - I mean, I already had the menu in my hand while waiting and knew what I wanted. Once at my table, there were tons of "touches" by a very friendly staff. In a short time, my OJ and coffee was served... followed in a few minutes by my breakfast of the Carnitas Omelet. While ordering, they asked what kind of "toast" I wanted and I chose the house made biscuits - when they asked if wanted gravy on them... I was like whaaaa? So this breakfast was gynormis and delicious. For the value - an awesome place... don't worry about the line, because before you know it, you're at your table... I could see the airplanes too, which is a bonus. Especially if you bring the kids. My coffee was piping hot and refilled adequately. My breakfast was delicious. This place is definitely worth the hype!!! The food is delicious and once you place your order your food gets to the table pretty quickly and everything is hot and fresh. Everyone who works here was so friendly and helpful which is nice to see because they are always so slammed! We all got the pineapple mimosas and you can taste it is made with fresh juice! An absolute hidden gem in Camarillo!! Definitely hidden in the Camarillo airport but such a delicious and nice place to eat. First time there and not going to lie the long long line made me apprehensive but the food and service was worth it! Unique place where you order first wait in line then get seated but the food comes out fast! The food is so delicious and flavorful it's worth the wait. Waypoint is the bomb!! Always great food, always great service. There is usually always a line on the weekends if you go early but it's worth the wait. The atmosphere is really awesome, you sometimes will see the coast guard, Ventura County helicopters land at the airport. As well as other planes and helicopters. If you can, get the Tri tip sandwich or salad. Tri tip is only served on certain days of the week and weekend. Highly recommend. read more

I had to do a post specifically for the lemon ricotta pancakes while I've eaten here plenty of times this has to be the best thing on the menu! no overpowering lemon taste just buttery goodness. I like to get these as a combo and with the vanilla latte, which is also very delicious! I am normally not a sweet breakfast person I prefer savory dishes but this is perfection! Service is always good they changed the way you get served in that you check in and order your food at the front first before being seated, but your food comes out very quickly once you're seated. They were all so friendly it was amazing. The food quickly came out which was a surprise since it was busy. But I took a peek at the kitchen and they were sending out orders so fast! This restaurant is located in a local airport, sitting outside you can watch planes land or just look at the planes that are parked. It does get chilly so if you are sitting outside bring a jacket.
