I really enjoyed my experience here. The staff was phenomenal. I came in with three of my girlfriends to have brunch, and one of my friends brought her dog, and our dog was treated like royalty and even got her own dish. It's super chill cool vibes. This is my second time coming here. I really had a taste of everybody's food. It was really good. I enjoyed my huevos Ranchos I would critique and say it only needs to be a little bit spicier lol but that's my personal preference other than that, it was delicious. Everything else was good. The mocha latte was so delicious. I drank it quickly. I almost wanted to order like three more lol The vibe is super chill. I like how everything is dog themed super cool spot for brunch really nice ambience small but they do well with the space. A lot of outdoor eating we ate outside wasn't too bad. Really enjoyed myself and will be coming back more often

Atmosphere/Service: The atmosphere and setting was very homey. It was my first time going there, and it felt like everyone knew one another. The waitress and waiter had a very positive attitude towards the customers. They were friendly and had conversations with everyone who walked through their doors. They had both indoor and outdoor seating. It is a dog-friendly restaurant. They even have a dog menu. I personally haven't seen that at a restaurant. Food: The food was absolutely delicious. They had plenty to choose from. I got the "Roxy's" Chicken & Waffles: it came with fried chicken tenderloins, served on top of a buttermilk waffle, with honey, bacon, and one sunny side egg. The chicken was so flavorful. It was well season and cooked right. It was crunchy and flaky. It wasn't oily either. That was a huge plus. I also had a bite of the Huevos Rancheros: it came with two fried eggs, two corn tortillas, mashed black beans, pepper jack cheese, grill jalapeño and your choice of salsa served with breakfast potatoes and we added the Carne Asada for five dollars. I also tasted the Avocado Toast: it was serve with guacamole spread sprinkled with red flakes, extra olive oil, cherry tomatoes, arcadian mix, and balsamic glazed drizzle. It was so delicious . We got a side of onion rings they were so good and crispy. Also the pancakes it was thin it looked like a crepe. It was cute came with a paw print. The cappuccino was tasty. The organic strawberries lemonade was delicious and refreshing. The latte was also delicious. Overall: I'd go back if I was in the area again. I recommend it if you are a dog lover and want to find a place to eat with your furry friend. Also they do close early Monday - Friday they are open from 8am till 2:30pm. And Saturday and Sunday from 8am till 3:00pm

GETTING HERE: Located in Camarillo off Carmen. It's in the Trader Joe's and CVS shopping center, next door to Spencer Mackenzie's. REVIEW: Cute place with a cute vibe! Lots of doggo decor, which is always a plus for this animal lover. I found myself in need of sustenance and had Braxton's bookmarked for a good while. Finally made it inside! Ordering was a breeze, and the service was awesome, friendly, and sincere. (My only caveat is they had the music PUMPING on our visit, and it was hard to hear my guests. :( We both ordered the Club and it was fantastic! I love Clubs when they are made so tall that you have to descontruct the sandwich to eat it. That's the only way a Club should be prepared, IMHO. :) The sodas were tasty, and we enjoyed the open seating area (we opted to eat inside, although there is plenty of outside seating as well). In reading the other reviews, I know I am due to return to try their other breakfast items. I definitely recommend Braxton's. Thank you!

Made a stop here on our way to Morro Bay. Owner stopped by to chat, very nice Asian man who says they make all their food in-house. We tried the Cobb salad, French toast, breakfast burrito, and classic plate. My whole party was happy with their dish. Standard, no frills. Would come back.

Dog friendly but not a ton of shade around noon

Apparently it's their soft opening so I have plenty of notes to share but I don't want to dock stars because I don't want a small business to fail because they might not have all their ducks in a row yet! Suggested improvements/updates; - Add more shaded seating- either put up more umbrellas or move the outdoor tables against the building itself for more shade - Update your menu to be accurate, your poor server had to correct so many things verbally that no longer come as part of a meal - Communicate to your servers what you're 86ing for the day or week

I thought the food was great. Excellent service, good flavor, nice advice, pleasant environment, and the food comes fast. Such a wonderful option. Made waiting for my car easy. Tasty vegetarian options. I recommend coming here.

My sister and I stopped by Braxton's Kitchen for brunch, and overall, it was a solid experience! The dog-friendly vibe was a huge plus since I brought my little old chihuahua along. She got to enjoy the Braxton & Friend's Special (small), which was such a cute touch for a pet-friendly spot. We shared a few dishes: 1.) Breakfast Burrito - Hands down my favorite. 2.) California Omelette - Alright; nothing crazy. 3.) Spicy Chimichurri Steak Sandwich - Honestly, I wasn't a fan. The steak was way too tough, which made it hard to enjoy. 4.) California Premium Burger with fries - Pretty good! Classic and done right. For drinks, we had mimosas (because brunch, duh) and tried two smoothies: 1.) Maui Madness - Not really my vibe. 2.) Peanut Butter Blitz - This one stole the show for me especially since I'm a lover of peanut butter. Braxton's is definitely worth checking out, especially if you're looking for a spot where your pup is welcome too.

I had heard good things about Braxton's Kitchen but unfortunately things fell a little flat for me. They were nice and made things nice for our little dog, but that's probably about as good as it got. The breakfast "burrito" looked nice, but the hot link didn't have the crisp I as looking for so after a bite you're left with mostly casing versus staying unified. The egg was unseasoned so it didn't add anything and almost took away from the wrap, and I think for the size for the price the value is not even close. The tater tots were okay but could've been crispier? The thing that let me down the most though was that there were two works and the owner? For 1 party inside and 3 outside, but it seemed like it took forever to get our order taken, water refilled, and the check at the end, and we tried to ask nicely but the gentleman who finally helped didn't seem happy to be there so it ended the day on a bad note. The owner was a nice guy though but I don't believe we'll be back

SERVICE: What I thought was adorable was that it's dog driven and also provides dog options on the menu. Cute, right? Though I'm not a huge pet and restaurant lover, I still found joy and appreciation in this business. I also sent a photo of the menu to my brother who loves his dogs! Food came out quick, visited middle of the day on a Sunday, and loved we sat outside. Staff was pleasant. FOOD: The food was fine, average. Blueberry pancakes! I prefer a warm compote to top my starch - waffle or pancake. I love fresh but it just rolls around the plate. WELL: I'll return, maybe.

The menu is super customizable, which is perfect if you're not into typical breakfast plates or just want things your way. Everything comes out hot and the flavors are both classic and unique. The Eggs Benedicts are a must, especially the Baja-style version with chorizo, avocado, and that smoky chipotle hollandaise (drooling thinking about it now). The bacon sriracha burrito is flavorful without being overly spicy, and the chicken fried steak is tender, comforting, and exactly what you want it to be. Do NOT skip the mojo potatoes or the hash cake, they're both top-tier sides. Food is definitely the star here. In our experience the drinks are just OK. The lattes don't quite feel like cafe craft quality, but they do the job. They do a good cup of regular ole joe though. Service is friendly, welcoming, but not efficient. The staff tries their absolute best, but if you're in a hurry you'll need to waive them down each and every time. Weekend waits can be as long as 45 mins to an hour with you constantly having to check in on your status, guess that's a good thing! In my culture, the first meal of the New Year sets the tone for the year - as in a fulfilling, enjoyable meal means you will have a fulfilling, enjoyable year. I'd like to thank Country Harvest for setting that tone for me with an absolutely delicious breakfast, the charming atmosphere, and the delightful staff - including Gloria, the manager. Everyone there was efficient and I enjoyed hearing one of the employees singing while he worked. Country Harvest not only provided generous portions (I had a hard time eating it all!) and a variety of teas to select from, but the food was cooked to perfection, and the service was top drawer and fast. On top of all that, they gave me a senior discount, which was much appreciated. I had just left Denny's where I had paid for a tea I didn't even get to enjoy, due to being ignored after waiting about 30 minutes for someone to take my order - after they were taking orders for those seated after me and made me aware they knew I was still waiting - but still did not take my order. Then one of the Denny's employees was actually smug about it, saying when I went to the register to pay for the tea, "Hey...it happens sometimes," while grinning as if it was funny. It remains a mystery if he ignored me because I am a senior, I was not of a background he liked, or he didn't think my one meal would give him enough of a tip, but he was unprofessional and he made sure I won't ever return to Denny's. I do thank him, though, because if he hadn't been such a jerk, I wouldn't have gotten frustrated enough to leave and try to find a place where I could have that good first meal of the New Year - at Country Harvest. His rudeness led me to finding Country Harvest and I am not at all surprised that your restaurant was busy on New Year's Day and Denny's wasn't. Now that I know you're the place to go, you've won my business going forward and I will happily recommend you to others. Thank you so much for truly making my day! We arrived at the same time as another party, they had 4. 3 adults 1 highchair. The rude , older lady with dark hair asked how many we had after them, than jumped back to that group and asked where they wanted to sit, etc. Sat them immediately. Outside. They got asked drinks immediately. Clearly she was overwhelmed two parties walked in at the same exact time. Now I have worked in the restaurant industry for many years, I was a waitress. I 100% understood why she may of been overwhelmed at that moment. 2 groups walking in at the same time, my group being a party of 6. 4 kids 2 adults. We were patient and waited for about 5 minutes before she sent the young busser kid out to seat us. I was holding my puppy in a dog carrier , I asked if we could sit outside. There is a sign on the door that says no dogs inside dining area. He said "no there is a table in the back at the inside patio" I pointed to the sign, said "I have a dog" he said "it's okay" so we walked in and sat down. We picked what we wanted to drink, we picked what we wanted to eat, all in our heads though. Because NOBODY ever came to us once we were sat down! My daughter was able to finish a whole coloring page before anyone even walked over to us. That's coloring in the lines and no scribbling. Not even a quick snotty "I'll be right with you" we didn't get 1 word. A bunch of ignores and glares. The server walked to an already established checked out table next to us to refill their drink, we didn't even have water let alone a hello. The dishwasher looked confused why we were the ONLY table in the whole entire place not being helped. The young boy who sat us, looked confused. We got up and left. The blonde server and the dark hair rude old lady , STILL didn't say a word when we walked past them to leave. Rest assured, they ran to where we sat to see what we left. Weird they all knew where the table was when we weren't sitting there. This crap of a service can stay hidden. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!! I have NEVER been treated this way. I have NEVER walked out of a restaurant after I have sat down. We have never felt so uncomfortable, and unwelcomed in a restaurant. So thank you, hidden cafe for the most unexpected, rudest experience of our vacation.
