100 hr service on my Kubota L2501. Quoted 700.00 by Ward when I made the service call appt on the…read morephone. Advised it would be 40 min drive and 2 to 3 hrs labor. Service man Shane came out changed oil, topped off transmission fluid, checked out tractor, no repairs done. Took him 1 hr. Ward called later, the bill is now 840.00. Argued it down to original quote of 700.00. Is this called price gouging? Love the tractor, will never use WC Tractor service again. Beware!

We bought 2 farm implements 10 years ago. After listening to our needs, and at their…read morerecommendation, we bought a 7 foot heavy duty shredder and an 8 foot disk mower. Just this year, we had to do our first major maintenance on the modern ag products heavy-duty shredder/bush hog. The stump-jumper pan finally gave out and needs to be replaced ($200-$250). Other than the annual greasing and gearbox oil check, we haven't had to do anything other than clean it after shredding and we have done some heavy shredding with it and it is not shedded. We appreciate their experience and advice and will be doing business with them again as we upgrade to a 15' mower (still keeping our 7' shredder). As for our 8' disk mower we have never had to do anything with it other than the usual annual maintenance. Wharton isn't the closest town with a tractor shop (we are in Bay City), but our next purchase will be with them.

I bought a 55 horse tractor without doing any research and what a mistake I made. It has a new little six foot shredder on it and it struggles and even dies trying to shred. my neighbor brought his 35 horse Kubota over and shred the same field , the next day , with no problem at all. WRI took the tractor and tested it and said its putting out the correct amount of horsepower and that it is fine . after talking to several other farmers in my area all of them said Massey Ferguson has good horsepower but NO torgue , that to say the least is an understatement. So WRI told me what a great deal I got on ths tractor at 36900.00 . another Lie , I tried trading it in and the best offer i got was 20000.00 . What a nightmere . and now I am stuck with a Peace of Junk. I stongley suggest that if your looking for equipment that you do not buy any Massey Ferguson products and definitly would not buy from WRI Tractor.
