I purchased a top of the line Bosch dishwasher. Price was as good as online. Then things went downhill. I always wait till enough time passes to let the frustration pass. We scheduled delivery for following Saturday with a 4 hour window. I called in morning to confirm and again 1 1/2 hours into my window. I was assured it would be there before 4 pm. At 3:45 I got the call... but it wasn't what I thought. They were in Santa Barbara and wouldn't be there before 7 pm so they would have to reschedule because he wouldn't send his guys that late. I scheduled for a Saturday and they offered me Monday . When I explained I could not and they could deliver Sunday the "gentleman " suggested I cancel the order. I received a call back at 8:45 pm and was told they would deliver Sunday between 10 and 11 and he would personally make sure it was on the truck. At 11:15 am they arrived- walked into the kitchen and announced they could not install because I didn't have an air gap.And left. We went back to WDC and cancelled the order. They said the credit would appear the next Friday. After 2 weeks and no credit- I called the credit card company to have the charge reversed. I then went to Reid's appliance and I am now very happy with my new dishwasher. Should have started there. read more

So let me start with my story I called Home Depot to buy a washer and the representative there was from Samsung so he showed me a Samsung washer then I started asking him about Maytag and whirlpool and the salesman at Home Depot didn't want to help me because I wasn't buying the Samsung washer so that annoyed me, so I called WDC kitchen & bath a young lady by the name of Linda answered and she was very attentive to me and had me come in, I went in and I spoke with the salesman Jonathan which was very helpful and very friendly and they had the same washer it was the same exact price so what is the difference of buying it from Home Depot and from WDC kitchen and bath the difference was the attention that I got and the friendly help and service and professionalism that I received from Jonathan Linda and also Dan the store manager and an old buddy of mine Sarfaz that I met there and have not seen in years. these people made me feel very comfortable and on top of that I also got a discount on the extended warranty and the installation which I was very appreciate of of that by far these guys deserve more than five stars thank you for your help Linda, Jonathan and sarfaz, Dan thank you for being a professional manager and assisting me and making my buying experience what it should be, great job guys, thank you all. This is for my mother. She bought a microwave a few months back. Well now it won't heat up and the repair person came out, when he came out he looks at it and noticed the side has a huge dent and the vents below the microwave have been bent. The side of the unit is covered by cabinets so you really never see it unless you really look at it. This repair person also tells her that the install people install the unit no matter if it's damaged or not because they don't get paid. Fast forward to now, they are trying to sell us a new microwave for a discount but not do anything about the dented one above the cabinet. This place sells damaged units and really don't care about their customers. We will be buying a unit elsewhere and be seeking legal action against them since they feel that all of this is ok. read more

I am shocked to see all the poor reviews, as we had a very positive experience with our purchase from WDC. Our sales assistant, Mahmud Reza is professional and attentive. We have been thoroughly impressed with his customer service throughout the entire process. I can't speak to any issues regarding warranty yet, as we just are through the installation process. All has gone smoothly and I would highly recommend you work with Mahmud if you are making your purchases there. Being a Thomas Fire victim, we have dealt with multiple local vendors, and hands down Mahmud has provided us with the best customer experience. It's a service that seems to be dying, and one that is so important in keeping brick and mortar alive. It's great to see Mahmud and his team at WDC still see the importance in it. read more

I can't believe this. So we bought our new refrigerator, washing machine and dryer from here and had them delivered to us on Saturday, and 2 days later, the dryer broke. My husband and I made many calls but received no help. And when my husband finally got a hold of the sales guy, he said he'd swap out the current one with a new one. So ok, the next day, we called again, but couldn't get hold of anyone. You would think they'd keep us update on what's been going on. Nothing from them. Then the Frigidaire repair center called and told us to make appointment for the people to come have a look. What, no swap out with a new one now?? Called the sales guy and he said they don't have the stock till a week later, so it's better to have someone to come and look. Ok, even if the repairman came, it doesn't guarantee he could fix the dryer, which means he'll probably order parts and that will have to wait for another week?? I have kids, kids change clothes alot. And my husband has to go to laundromat to get them dry. How funny is that? If we were to keep our old dryer, at least it'd keep our clothes dry! My wife and I bought a dishwasher in Oxnard. We were extremely unhappy with the dishwasher and wanted to return it. It did not wash the dishes as well as the previous GE washer, same brand. The store would not stand behind their products. They blamed the new energy saving features, the loading of the dishwasher, wrong deterent or agents you may want to mix in. The biggest problem is that they were rude to my wife and did not seem to care at all if we were pleased in solving the problem. It was our problem. No help from the Moorpark store either with upper management. I wish would have stopped by yelp before going to this awful store. I'm told the owner is not involved. I'm sticking to stores that have reasonable return policies. That will mean it will only be the big chains and the local stores will fail in time with this type of customer service. read more

Visited this Warehouse Discount Center store with my wife looking to purchase a new refrigerator and washer dryer for our new home. We wanted to look at those higher priced and quality brands that you can't find at the other local big chain stores. We walked in and spent about 15 minutes looking around. We had several questions on different items and looked around for any sales representative to assist us. There were at least 5 on the sales floor with only one what looked like to be completing a sale and the others were either sitting at a desk, counter or walking around on their cell phones. I made eye contact with a few and even waived for their attention but not one person came up to us offering their services or to answer questions. WAREHOUSE DISCOUNT CENTERS PART 2; So my identical (but for the white door which I compromised on) replacement dishwasher was supposed to be delivered to the store last Friday 8.7.15. I called them and they stated that the item needed to be returned to G.E. as the packaging was damaged. So another was (supposedly) ordered for delivery tomorrow 8.14.15. I got a call yesterday stating that delivery is still two weeks away and would I like another dishwasher instead of the one I purchased? The people whom called were from a different store entirely and I actually was interested in what they had to offer. What they had to offer were machines that they had in stock... and they were in stock for a reason...after reading online reviews the machines Warehouse Discount Centers were trying to stick me with are abject garbage. After reading the reviews of the broken machine I purchased and having ascertained that the issue is only a broken water inlet valve (solenoid) I have decided to have G.E. fix it. The dishwashing machine has mostly good reviews and as it is under warranty G.E. will fix it gratis. I have wasted enough time and energy on this and just want it to be finished. Having said that I will never ever give any more business to Warehouse Discount Centers. If I could give zero stars I would. They were more interested in not replacing what I purchased (as I was told I got it too cheaply LIKE THAT WAS MY FAULT) and wearing me down to accept their junk as a replacement than actually get me what I paid my hard earned cash for. The delivery experience wasn't so great because they wouldn't deliver for me on the weekend like they said. I'm so beyond sorry that I didn't come to Yelp before heading over to WDC. I went in on the recommendation of someone that buys some of their equipment for restaurants from there (and he never will again). Went in, spoke with Cesar who was clearly new, but was a nice guy. Picked out a fridge, told us we'd get free delivery and installation. Came in next day to pay for it and do the boring paperwork stuff (spoke with Daren and someone else, can't remember the name). The next week the truck shows up (earlier than scheduled, no big deal but girlfriend had to rush home). Delivery people tell her they have instructions to drop in the garage it's going to be $85 to bring into our apartment (WE DON'T EVEN HAVE A GARAGE). I (from work) call and speak to Daren who says they would have never promised anything free, especially since it was a "floor model." After threatening to just send it back, he says they'll bring it to the front door, and if it fits in the front door then they will bring it inside. The delivery people find out there is a door before the front door (apartment building) and refuse to do bring it up. Girlfriend calls and speaks to Daren who was beyond rude and unprofessional and he proceeds to tell her that I was being dishonest and he never said they would bring it to the front door. She also asked to speak with a manager and he claimed he was the store manager. She was forced to pay the $85 just to have the delivery men bring it inside the apartment, they didn't even turn on the unit. After the fact, went in and spoke with Cesar and he confirmed his original claim of free deliver and installation. Even after that, the best they did was say the driver was wrong and we should have only been charged $40. Not only were we flat out lied to, but the level of unprofessionalism and rudeness was astounding and surprising from an establishment that is based around customer service. I have told everyone I know the story, and I hope everyone that reads this will not only head my warnings, but everyone else that has reviewed as well. Every time we called the sales person was busy. He would return calls later in the day. After we paid for the appliance, the installation people never called as promised. I purchased a oven/range with delivery. During the purchase, I specified an morning delivery would be necessary. During the first delivery attempt failed. I called the dispatch office and discussed the situation. A second delivery attempt was scheduled for morning but when I received the "confirmation" call it was scheduled for afternoon. I have been calling them for months, and every time they either dont call me back or tell me that they will order the part, but never follow through. Literally MONTHS. I will not be a customer of this establishment again, nor will I recommend it to any other person searching for a bathroom vanity. Employee "Ruby" made an error on my order. I visited the store on two occasions and spent one hour discussing with Ruby the dimensions for the bathroom vanity I needed to order. Detailed discussions took place including a discussion of the dimensions for the drawers and specifically that I was ordering a 42 inch vanity. I signed the order not noticing that she made an error ordering a 48 inch vanity which we had specifically discussed was not appropriate for the bathroom and would not fit. The vanity arrived and Warehouse Discount Center would not honor the return for the wrong size vanity. Instead they insisted on a "re-stocking fee" of over $600. This is just wrong. Certainly, there was a mistake but the customer service was shockingly bad. My job was nearly complete and I was at the mercy of this retailer and their mistake. Do not shop with this establishment as there many other reputable, cost competitive, retailers to work with who will be ethical in when mistakes are made. read more

We came in on Halloween evening to look at appliances for our home in Simi Valley, which was still in escrow. Cesar helped us right away, and later in the process, Darrin the manager also assisted. These guys gave us terrific, practical advice based on really listening to what we wanted for our home. They probably could have up-sold us on a few things, but they really urged us to make good choices for long-term practical use. Cesar was especially patient with all of the questions we had, and with the changes we made to our order not once but twice. He never made it seem like any trouble. You can tell Darrin does a great job of training his staff, and I don't think I've ever met anyone with as much knowledge of appliances as Darrin - and he was also very patient with all of our questions. They both seemed genuinely excited for us about our new home and our appliance purchases. Also, they made sure to adjust our prices for sales that came up before our order was finalized, without our having to ask. I highly recommend using these guys for your appliance needs. read more
