I have been going through several different things health-wise as well as emotionally, and Dr. Silva has taken the time to sit and talk with me about each one of my issues. She listens and provides the care I need. She is far from your typical run of the mill doctor that makes you feel like you're just a number. I can't say enough nice things about her because she is genuine, and when I leave her office I truly feel as though a giant weight has been lifted off my shoulders. With my experience, Drs are very condescending, impatient & don't listen. Not here! With each visit, Amanda displayed such compassion, care, concern, empathy, patience, attentiveness & understanding. She took such care & concern & asked questions! Amanda actually showed that she cared, unlike other drs that i had experienced, & took the time to understand & diagnose the ailment. Each medical issue I had, she addressed & resolved with the correct treatment! There's no room for doubt or questions because Amanda is so thorough. She gives a whole new meaning to dotting ur I's & crossing ur 'T's! She was 'Johnny on the spot' after learning of my chest pains I previously experienced & did due diligence in addressing it.Without reservation or hesitation & with due diligence leaving no stone unturned, with compassion, care & concern, each medial issue was addressed. Now, I can off my medical concerns because of Amanda Waters off each of hers! Happy Thanksgiving Amanda Waters! Oh yes, I also give thanks to Chomyon, who fought tooth & nail with my insurance company! Chomyon never gave up & never gave in! NO NO NO AND H*** NO!!…read more In my experience and opinion; Avoid this doctor at all cost. Lazy, Rude,Horrible Staff, Went only because Dr. of record with insurance. Dr. Shoba refused to discuss why I was there- insisted I had to establish new patient visit- reschedule in two weeks- with injury to arm that I had been waiting to see Dr. for a month already. A 30 minute visit, she sat across the room, never laid a finger on me for anything, never looked at my arm from within 20 feet, and would not listen when discussing prior medications and never once raised her eyes from the computer screen in which she was staring. Once visit over, called office everyday for a week, left messages on voice mail asking a call be returned regarding prescriptions and increased loss of motion and pain regarding arm to this day never received call back! On the 10th and final call to the office- the front desk person answered (who was really nice but either over worked, behind schedule or just doesn't really care) only to be put off again. Contacted insurance carrier, requested change of Primary Care, filed complaint and contacted the AMA. In MY OPINION ONLY- this practice is one of the worst I have seen in a long time.
