I am particularly troubled by what appeared to be disparities in how certain employees were treated, as well as hiring decisions that, in my opinion, did not always prioritize the most qualified candidates. The inspector didn't show up and the District Manager couldn't make it in to replace her. Same thing happened last year. I asked to speak to the owner. Said they would give him my number but couldn't give me his number. I had been told at 8:03 AM that the inspector "was on her way"! What a joke of a business so crucial to car owners. One year I got an inspection there. The inspector brought me an estimate that said it would take $382 to get my car to pass inspection. After he showed it to me, he said, "You want me to go ahead and fix everything"? I told him to just put a Did Not Pass sticker on it. He did and I left. Went to another inspection station and car passed.
