    This dealership is a bad news! Stay away from them. They advertised 2019 Kia Soul on Facebook…read moremarketplace but never responded to my inquiries! If you are not going to respond why are you posting on there??? I found them on Car Gurus and they responded. I asked if the car will be clean and ready to go. They assured me it will. When we arrived car was dirty. The person who we were there to see wasn't even there! He came 15 min later. Car had no coolant so they added WATER in front of us! Not a coolant but water. Car was missing spare tire and had bulges in the sides of the tires which is dangerous. The old man was terrible to deal with. Car had multiple dents and poorly fixed repairs. The man kept repeating he doesn't care and only goes by Carfax. We asked for the owner but he said he's not around. The office was disgusting and extremely dirty! Poor customers who have to sit in that mess. I had white shorts and got them dirty right away. You know if the people who own this business have such a nasty working environment the business itself will be bad. This car was purchased at an auction and was in a rough shape. They were asking $16500 and we offered $15500. They said no and didn't want to negotiate. The lady behind the desk ran my credit score of 830 and offered me 12% rate with $465/month payment. We walked away! The whole thing was unprofessional and sleazy. The same day we went to another similar dealership and it was great. Clean office! Amazing staff. We got 2020 Kia Soul for $17500 with 6% rate and $335/month payment. Don't do business with people who don't take pride in what they do. This dealership is poorly run and it shows as soon as you walk in. If you do business with them you'll be ripped off. Our payment would have been $100 more because of the banks they work with! You can do way better elsewhere.

I purchased a 2013 Lexus from them in January 2025 and in less than 8 months, it had a head gasket crack that was a very costly repair. The reputable auto shop in Fremont informed me that they had serviced cars from Bay Auto Exchange before and seen OEM parts swapped for generic. If you are going to make a deal for a used car here, I would highly recommend having a third party mechanic do a multi-point inspection to cover your bases and push back on their prices as they came down $800 dollars on their asking price the first time I asked with no resistance. That should have been a red flag for me. The salesman here was dishonest with me. After agreeing on a sale price and negotiating financing terms, he called me the next day to try to finesse another $500 dollars from me after the contract was signed. I declined to pay extra money as his reason did not even sound legitimate whatsoever. Exercise caution and if you value the piece of mind of a service warranty, I would go elsewhere.
