    The advertisement online

I had a 12 o'clock appointment with Kevin Leon on March 11, 2025. I was interested in a black 2024 Corvette that was advertised online. A day earlier Kevin emailed me the deal sheet when I requested it. All the information was disclosed and transparent. All the numbers matched the deal that was advertised online. I arrived early and I did not expect to make a purchase that day. I intended to get some information and I was going to get his business card and leave. I'd think about the potential deal and if I felt comfortable with it I would come back and make the buy later. When I got there I was early so I waited until Kevin got there. He went to the trouble of coming in early when he was notified that I was already there. I liked dealing with Kevin because he was honest and up front about everything. It all comes down to principal, rate, and time. How much are you putting down? Do you have a trade? I independently verified the monthly payment amount based on the total vehicle price less the down payment. When the paperwork came back from the finance guy their number was within $1 of my estimate. There were no add ons, surprise fees, no warranty got slipped in without my authorization. These guys were completely honest. I knew the best case interest rate and I knew I qualified for it. The approved interest rate came in exactly where it should have been and nobody was trying to shave additional profit through the financing. I was amazed. The deal sheet pictured below is the first one that he emailed to me the day prior to the sale. He updated the deal sheet to include the GM Supplier discount the next day. I did not take a picture of that one. But the accurate figures were included in the final sales contract. The advertisement also said additional savings were available with a Costco membership. Kevin helped me get the approval code through their website. His help was also greatly appreciated with the GM Supplier discount that was available through my employer. I had to wait a while to get the insurance straightened out because I was an out of state customer and law requires a specific policy on the vehicle instead of just a quick approval from your insurer. It took a while for all the documentation to go through but Kevin has done all this before and he made it easier. Just make sure your phone is fully charged when you get there for all the downloading pdfs, confirmation emails, and phone conversations with insurance agents. Finishing up with the signatures in the finance department went smoothly. There were no hiccups in the paperwork. There was no unnecessary waiting and there was no high pressure sales tactics for additional warranty or service. I was pleasantly surprised after dealing with a different Chevy dealership earlier that day. Webb Chevrolet made the sale and I'm still happy with it the next day.

Came for an oil change / tire rotation package. I'm used to going to the Webb Chevy in Oak Lawn for my service routine. I tried this place out finally since I moved. Getting an appointment is easy but navigating through their website was trickier than usual than what I'm accustomed too. Service was really quick and swift! I loved it. Great selection of used cars to check out while I was waiting. Definitely better than hanging out in the waiting room. Staff was very friendly. I highly reccomend this location over the Oak Lawn location any time! Great first impression!

I had a great experience purchasing a vehicle at Webb Chevy. This was the first time purchasing a new vehicle and Tarek, my salesman, did a great job with walking us through the entire process. I typically don't like purchasing vehicles because of the the pressure you feel when you walk through the door - I didn't get this feeling at all. Highly recommend Webb Chevy. -Trevor

After we got into it, the vehicle would not pass emissions, so we did not transact. That is usually when a salesperson disappears, stalls a deposit, or tries to slide you into something else. Dorry did none of that. She stayed attentive, transparent, and candid the whole way. She told me the truth instead of dressing it up. Getting my deposit back was straightforward. No pressure, no games, no "let me just show you one more option." She respected that I wanted that specific GTR, not a consolation prize. Plenty of people can sell a car. Fewer people will do the right thing when the sale falls apart. Dorry and her team did. I would work with her again without hesitation, and I would send anyone looking for a GTR--or any specialty car--straight to her. That kind of honesty is rare, and it is why this review is five stars even though I left without the car.

Nearly two hours later, I asked for an update and was sent from the front desk to the service garage. Despite several employees sitting at their desks, no one acknowledged me or asked if I needed help. Eventually, I was directed to Jim Carver, the service manager. After waiting while he and another employee walked around for several minutes without any communication, I asked, "Do you guys give updates?" Without even stopping his conversation, he shook his head "no" and told another employee to "handle her." I was then informed that they had lost my keys. Losing keys is a mistake that can happen. The complete lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism is what made this experience unacceptable. Being dismissed in front of a room full of employees was humiliating. As the service manager, Jim Carver sets the example for his team, and unfortunately it was not one of respect or customer service. After reading other reviews, I noticed similar complaints about interactions with Jim Carver. I sincerely hope this dealership addresses its leadership and customer service because this experience was far below the standard I've come to expect from Toyota.

We live only about five minutes from the Romeoville Toyota dealership, so I called to have the vehicle towed there since his 2026 Toyota bZ doesn't come with a spare tire. The service advisor quickly told me they wouldn't even be able to look at the vehicle until Thursday--three days later--for a simple flat tire. I respectfully expressed my disappointment, but instead of showing any empathy or offering alternatives, she cut me off, said, "Thank you very much," and seemed eager to end the call. She even suggested, in a dismissive tone, that I should just call the Toyota dealership in Naperville instead. So I did. I called Naperville Toyota, where I originally purchased the vehicle, explained the situation, and the difference in customer service was night and day. They were friendly, understanding, arranged to have the vehicle towed there at no cost to me, and had it looked at within just a few hours. I'd much rather drive 30-40 minutes for excellent customer service than spend my money at a dealership that's only five minutes away but treats customers like an inconvenience. It's disappointing because a dealership's service department often determines whether customers return. I hope management is aware of how some employees are interacting with customers, because experiences like this drive loyal customers elsewhere.

I will NEVER try to do any business with this dealership again!…read more Towards the end of March I decided I wanted to trade in my 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GT (which I loved) and get a small or mid-size SUV. My company participates in the GM Supplier discount, so I figured I should be able to get a decent price on a vehicle and not have a sky high car note. I guess the salesman figured he had a female that didn't know much about cars or the buying process and I would just go along with what he was telling me. Big mistake on his part. I tell the salesman I want a new vehicle, the amount I can give for the down payment and a ball park figure for the monthly note. Of course he has me test drive one of the most expensive vehicles they have on the lot with all the bells and whistles. But also shows me some less expensive vehicles just to keep my options open. When we go to start the paperwork, he uses the most expensive vehicle to try and get financed. I told him before he even started, I would need to go down in options to get a lower cost closer to what I wanted to pay per month. I guess I was talking to the deaf, since he disregarded that part of the conversation. He looked at me crazy when the approval came back, and I said NO to paying double to what I was currently paying and asking more for the down payment. His bright idea was to try and sell me a 3 year old vehicle with high miles. My answer to that scenario was a big NO, and he got upset. He really lost the sale and any future business by asking me if I needed to verify things with my husband and have my husband talk to the finance manager so he could explain things. At the end of all their non-sense, I left without a vehicle and they missed out on a sale. The next business day I went to Advantage Chevrolet in Bolingbrook and left their with my new vehicle. This dealership isn't even on my list to get my vehicle serviced and they are 5 minutes from my house. That's just how bad my experience was with them.

While doing research on new cars I came across Bill Jacobs Chevrolet in Plainfield. I was contacted by their internet manager but was a little hesitant because Plainfield is over 30 miles from us and there are of course many dealerships considerably closer. After a little more discussion with the internet person, we decided to go and check it out anyway. We went in after work and test drove the 2013 Malibu. I was not only impressed with the car and the standard features, but our sales person (Bill) was able to easily answer all of our questions. In the end, everyone from the sales team to the finance team to the Customer service advocate treated us like we were old friends. Even gave us a tour of the building which had been recently remodeled. Fast forward to this week. We decided with our son home from college and working we really needed to break down and get a second car. It was a no brainer for us to make the drive back out to Bill Jacobs. Once again, it proved to be a great decision. We made it clear we were looking for a second car, nothing fancy, just reliable. Our salesperson (Chester) couldn't have been better. He never tried to up-sell us, instead he understood what we needed. We decided to take the evening to sleep on it and go over our budget. When we said we'd think on it and come back the next day, there was no pressure at all to decide then and there, they understood. we went back the next day and left with a 2013 Sonic. Once again, everyone was wonderful. The dealership was busy so we literally spent a few hours with Chester just talking, joking around and laughing. You would have thought we'd known each other for years. By the time we left, Chester was more of a friend then a salesperson. Everyone's situation is different and buying a car can be stressful, but for us, there is no other dealership we'd even consider at this point. I'd give 10 stars if I could.

At the time of purchase, the Certified Pre-Owned vehicle was missing an accessory part that I was told would be sent to me afterward. That never happened. I also raised a concern at the time of sale about a headlight that was experiencing significant fogging/condensation and was told that the issue would be covered under warranty. When I later attempted to have it addressed, that turned out not to be the case as it had been represented to me. What was most frustrating was the lack of communication and follow-through. I contacted the dealership and left messages on three separate occasions without receiving a response. On my fourth attempt, I finally reached someone who said they would look into both issues. Several weeks later, I still had not received any follow-up or resolution. Based on my experience, D'Arcy Hyundai may be worth considering if you are getting a good deal and driving off the lot with a vehicle that needs absolutely nothing further. However, I would only recommend purchasing here if you have another Hyundai dealership nearby that you are comfortable relying on for future service and warranty matters, and if you are not expecting D'Arcy to follow through on outstanding items once the sale is complete. The purchase itself went smoothly. Unfortunately, the support after the sale did not come close to matching it.
