Another great experience at Web's last night. We had our family there and it was amazing. Everyone enjoyed their steaks or tenderloin and all was cooked toe ordered and was exceptional. The meals were perfectly prepared and the service was phenomenal. As always we enjoy a great meal at Webbs. Our server gave a history lesson about Webb's for those who didn't know about the history. The restaurant was very clean as you would expect a fine dining experience to be. Great job Webbs Custom Kitchen...

With almost 2,000 reviews already I'll, I'll try to focus on what others haven't said. So yes, amazing experience. Haley (sp) was our hostess and provided a warm welcome. I told her it was our first time so give us a seat based on what she thought most fitting. Did not disappoint thanks Haley! We were seated on the second floor overlooking the first. There are three levels on the second floor. The level on the bottom has cozy round booths they feel secluded, very nice if you're going for romantic evening. Our server Kayla knew the menu well, didn't steer us wrong. We had the meatloaf and salmon after selecting cheesy bread and duck cigars for appetizers. Cigars were good but I would definitely try something different next time. Cheesy bread insanely delicious. My strawberry lemon drop: delicious. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because the men's bathroom trash was overflowing at the end of the night. We'll definitely be back for my son's college graduation. I'll update my review then.

Webb Custom Kitchen - Gastonia 10:45am Mothers Day My son asked me where I wanted to go for Mother's Day. I had been to Webb a few times. I thought he would enjoy the theme, environment/vibe so that was my suggestion! Of course they didn't let us down lol! He was looking up the movie that was playing on the screen with Barbara Stanwick and a young Kirk Douglas. We loved the music they had playing as well so many memories wow what a throwback! We were seated upstairs and had a wonderful view of the screen, not to mention the activities in the kitchen down below. Really it's the best seat if you call for reservations! We ordered off of the brunch menu for main dishes, I told him he absolutely had to try a couple of the appetizers! We had fried green tomatoes, and the angry lobster to start. Both were absolutely wonderful and exactly what I expected so definitely consistent. We ordered two Benedict dishes. I got the crabcake Benedict and he got the eggs with ham. Everything was very good, but when it comes to crabcakes, I can't lie. Nothing compares to 131 main so the size of the Crabcakes - I was a bit disappointed. Don't get me wrong. They were fresh, but too thin and the flavor and texture were not to my personal preference. The crab kind of got lost in all the other ingredients. I would definitely try a different dish next time. I ordered a side of bacon, perfectly cooked and great flavor. Along with the side of their mac & cheese, which has always been a favorite. I love the combination of cheeses that they use. It's such a treat! Lastly, we had to have their Parmesan truffle fries. Again consistent, excellent! They are always busy so reservations are required versus recommended to be honest. But we parked for free across the street because we were there early. Sadly, neither one of us had room for dessert, but their desserts are so good and the helpings are huge. Maybe next time!

As usual a wonderful dining experience. This restaurant is worth being a destination spot. It is widely known for special occasions but it is fabulous if you want to just have a great meal I love the upstairs seating. It's quiet and not crowded Prices are reasonable. Service is top notch. Attention to detail and delivery but not intrusive Fried green tomatoes, cheesy bread are a good start. Then wedge salad is the best I've had Onion soup is amazing I had the lobster and shrimp pasta. Plenty of seafood and sauce over perfectly cooked pasta. Service is excellent fast and caring. My food is always perfect ( like Hell's Kitchen) Valet parking is a plus A must try

What an incredible experience! I can see why this place comes highly recommended now. From the moment you arrive at valet until the time you depart, Webb really makes an impression. Every staff member we interacted with was wonderful and the atmosphere in the balcony along with the food itself just cannot be beat. This will definitely be our go to for special occasions! Also, huge shoutout to Olivia for offering such incredible hospitality! She really paints a picture when describing the dishes and went above and beyond to make our anniversary feel like a truly special occasion. I honestly could not be more impressed with our dinner here.

Very cool vibe that gives off a fancy, old-time theater feel. Definitely coming back. Porterhouse Club (5/5): The strip side of this 40oz porterhouse steak was phenomenal. Tender, juicy, flavorful, and well-seasoned. The crust was also perfect. The filet side was a little overcooked and not nearly as good as the strip side but overall, I loved this. Not much of a "challenge", but still fun to get my name on the wall and come home with a steak knife. I wish the knife was engraved or something though (it was just a regular steak knife you could buy from the store haha). NY Style Cheescake (5/5): Rich, thick, and creamy. This was a sizeable portion of very good cheesecake. Potato Cakes (4/5): Pretty good potato cakes with a lot of bacon and cheese flavor packed in. Could've been a little crispier. RATING SYSTEM 5 - Great (Need to get this again) 4 - Good (Would get this again) 3 - Ok (Might give this another shot) 2 - Not Good (Won't get this again) 1 - Bad (Telling people to avoid this)

    Spiced Rare Tuna

The upscale steakhouse restaurant was converted from old movie theater with movie clips still being playing behind the kitchen. The dining atmosphere was excellent for patrons. I chose Spiced Ahi Tuna (cooked rare) as my dinner and house Cab (Copper Ridge). The whole dining experience was so great at a very reasonable price. It is great place to dine at Gastonia.

This is a great date night option in Gastonia. The building is an updated old theater with classic movies still playing on the screen. There's a lower level and balcony seating to add to the charm. The food was solid and our server was great. My husband loved his ribeye (as evident in the picture). His baked potato was overdone, but clearly still enjoyable. I went with the scallops with black pepper polenta. The scallops were cooked to perfection, and delicious. the plate overall was just ok. I wished there was a little less sauce so the scallops could be highlighted more. Again, solid date night option and a really cool venue.

A wonderful experience! The ambiance, atmosphere, drink and food are top notch. You must sit in the balcony, it makes the whole restaurant experience here so much better.

What a really cool and unique setting for a restaurant. It's an old theater and it looks like a lot of the structure for the projector room is the bar area. I had the duck cigars and the potato skin appetizer from the happy hour menu along with a margarita. The ducks cigars were unusual and came with three different sauces (hot mustard, chile, and an Asian flavored sauce) that were absolutely delicious. The potato skins were pretty good, but I didn't eat a lot of the potato itself just the bbq rib tips and pimento because it was delicious. The bar staff was super friendly and super attentive, and I really felt appreciated as a patron.

A restaurant built into an old tyme theater. Such a beautiful venue. Food was delicious. I had a Caesar salad and a fried chicken sandwich. Both were very good. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area.

Such a fun way to experience both history and an amazing meal! This restaurant was an old theater and they kept so many of the original aspects of the building including film from back in the day. Our server shared the whole history! The food was also divine. A few things I loved: - cheesy bread: whoa. So good! - fried green tomatoes: so incredibly prepared - Chilean seabass: just lovely! There is street parking and I believe other lots around but we went with the free valet.

The food here is amazing. If you live in the Charlotte area or surrounding, this place may not be on your radar. It is an old movie theater and it is visually stunning. The food presentations are on point and everything we have tried here is delicious. Get the ANGRY LOBSTER tails and the Duck Cigars. The bar serves up some great cocktails as well. The Chefs Seafood Scampi Pasta was incredible and the Ribeye with fries were a hit. I ordered it medium and it was done perfectly for that temp. They offer valet parking. I suggest making a reservation. This is a GREAT first date, second date spot!!! You won't be disappointed!

The whiting, deserving of an unequivocal five stars, showcased culinary prowess with a perfect fusion of seasoning and expert frying. However, I dare say, a tad more crispiness would elevate them to unparalleled heights. As for the accompanying fries, they adhered to the archetype of standard restaurant fare, bereft of seasoning. My server was amazing as we (Im)patiently waited for him. I ordered the roasted beet tower to start. Finely diced marinated beets with a thin slice of goat cheese topped with mixed greens and a vinaigrette. This dish tasted so fresh! My husband's only complaint was chasing the tiny beets around the plate (first world problems) I chose to have a cup of their creamy chicken soup. No rice, no potato filler - cream based, fresh chicken mushrooms and carrots danced around my mouth. Topped with Gruyère (I think) each bite was like a rich warm hug from grandma Our entrees arrived in a timely manner - him having the ahi tuna poke bowl. He chose to substitute the rice for mixed greens. He devoured the entree and noted the tuna being sweet for the longer sear - his fault, he forgot to ask for it to be cooked extremely rare or done raw, poke style as it was to be a poke bowl which is typically served raw. I chose the harvest bowl. A base of rice and quinoa topped with Brussel sprouts, beets, greens, goat cheese, and butternut squash. I chose to add grilled shrimp. Holy cow. I felt like all of the vegetables were home grown from the chef's garden. Perfectly roasted and seasoned. An impressive rice/quinoa topped vegetable ratio exceeded all expectations!!!
