We had a great dinner here after a show at IRT; it is practically right next door to the theater, and if you park in a Circle Center Mall garage, you don't have to go back outside to get to your car after dinner on a cold night if you eat here! I'd definitely suggest a reservation for a Saturday night! We had one, and were seated promptly, but those without reservations had a wait. The pretzel rolls with cheddar butter are as good as everyone says! Chewy, warm and delicious! For my entree, I had the bistro steak which came with Parmesan fries. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare just as I had ordered it, and was melt-in-your mouth tender and delicious! The fries were thin cut, fresh, crisp and wonderful. They could have been fancy and called them pommes frites since they did remind me of the ones served in a cone at bistro-style establishments. I also had a side of the roasted garlic spinach which was delicious! My friend had the BBQ meatloaf which she also really enjoyed! For dessert, I had the caramel apple pie, which was quite good; the cinnamon ice cream that accompanied it was delicious as was the bourbon caramel sauce. Service was excellent! Our server was friendly, attentive and knew the menu well. He even added a couple extra pretzel rolls to my friend's to-go box without us asking! The atmosphere is quite nice; tables are nicely spaced so the dining area doesn't feel overcrowded and isn't too noisy even when full. There is a delightful aroma from the charcoal grills that adds to the experience. Prices are much more reasonable than the high-end steak houses nearby, but quality is much higher than other mid-range steak houses in my opinion! If you have never been here this restaurant is located in the mall so you would need to find parking on the street. Our neighborhood was given a coupon so we went here twice in one month. The first time we arrived 30 min before closing so they had to check to see if the kitchen was still open. We were sat at a bar high top table and we ordered the crab sammie. When it came out it was chicken, we were brought out our new food with no problem and the manager made sure we were taken care of. The second time we went we were sat at the bar again. We ordered the same thing but the food came out so much better. The presentation was better and we were even offered bread while we waited. I would say our second dining experience surpassed our first visit. I would eat there again there food is fairly priced and I enjoy their cocktails. I feel a little bad with the 3 star rating but it was based spelt on food quality. The food wasn't bad but it was your basic run of the mill restaurant food, we were not impressed or excited. The chicken on my salad was cold and dry chopped chicken which is surprising from a restaurant whos theme is grilled, smoked meat. The ribs were delicious so if you do give it a try stick to ribs or pulled pork perhaps. We added grilled gulf shrimp to the salad. It was $9 for 4 pieces and very overcooked. The atmosphere and service,however, were fantastic! Our server Was so great! He was attentive and informative but not overbearing. He went out of his way to make sure we had and enjoyable experience! This really is a 2.75 for me. We decided to have my daughters birthday dinner here and figured early Sunday evening would be less crowded. We were correct and were seated quickly. Our server was friendly and was reasonably attentive. The reason for his comment is we ordered appetizers but they were never delivered. They weren't on the bill so I guess it was just forgotten. The food was both good and fair. Dinner rolls were stale. My pork chop was excellent and the fillet and ribs got great comments from the kids. With so few people in the restaurant the delivery of food took quite some time. My sides - spinach and mashed sweet potato were too cool in temp. How does a restaurant that uses its own brand of grill, designs its whole decor around them, brings you an appetizer that has delicious grilled taste, finally bring you a burger that does not have a smoky grilled flavor? Perplexed! Also with just a small tweak to the menu, they could offer (even on the reduced Covid menu) some type of grilled veggie other than asparagus. Granted the chicken skewers and the two accompanying sauces were delicious. And the matchstick fries were pretty good as well. They should use the sweet chili mayo and the teriyaki sauces that come with the chicken skewers on two of their burgers. Those were both very good. Was in town for a convention. Booked a reservation for the seven of us based in reviews here. The place is decorated really cool. There are Weber Grill lids and pieces and parts everywhere. Even the chairs incorporate the grill theme. Upon entry, the place smelled amazzzzzing: smokey cooking and meat. An associate and I split the oysters Rockefeller. Excellent but a bit salty. I had the burger with cheddar and bacon. It was piping hot and on a buttered brioche bun. This burger was stupid, insanely, marvelously, crazy good. I was kinda hoping it would happen: as I decided to judge the place based on how well they did something as seemingly simple as a burger. I don't think they are simple: they are a symphony of meat, cheese and various additions. In my case bacon, mayo,lettuce and tomato. Sadly, I could only eat half, I took the other half to my hotel fridge, but never got to eat it. Oh and they make their own potato chips: which are under salted, just the way I like. Everyone else at the table agreed that the food was great: one pulled pork, one ribs, one skirt steak, etc. desserts were great too. Waiter was friendly and efficient.... Highly recommend! read more

As you walk past the open kitchen, you can't help but notice the cadre of their eponymous kettle grills aflame. That's when you know you're in for some serious meat. The decor is intimate without being stuffy. I particularly enjoy the little kettle grill logos tastefully interspersed throughout the space. You could make a game of finding them all, if that's your thing. The food is outstanding. There is of course a huge selection of meat (ribs, steaks, chicken, fish). A pleasant surprise is the grilled meatloaf. You wouldn't normally think of meatloaf as something that hits a grill, but the folks of Weber have, and it is amazing. read more

This was a great place to go to celebrate Valentine's Day. We went the Saturday after and it was still very busy. We had a reservation so we got in right away, which was very nice. I had the red sangria drink and it was awesome! Not too sweet but not bitter. Then I had the French onion soup as my starter and it was some of the best soup I've ever had! The steak was incredible, I had the filet with the Gorgonzola topping! Omg!! The service was good too, nothing extra awesome but still good. But the bourbon sauce that came on mine could have tasted much better. For an appetizer we had the chicken skewers. So good and tasty and loved the sauce it came with. Ok- so admittedly this place is my standby choice when the weather is intolerable - it is connected to a hotel I stay at frequently. With that said, I prefer many places downtown- however, every time I eat here I am pleasantly surprised. Because it is common and not rare, I suppose I take it for granted. The restaurant itself can be very loud, and the bar especially can be difficult to have a conversation without yelling- it's worth noting though there are some places quite cozy and nice. On this evening I was seated next to the fireplace. It was very comfortable. It's worth noting that the whole place smells of a barbecue - and it's a lovely aroma!! The service has always been good. Sometimes incredible, and sometimes it's a bit lacking. On this evening it was good- not out of the world good but it was cordial and kind- I ordered smoked salmon salad, glazed plank salmon, and the smore- so I committed the first sin of restaurants- I ordered fish and a lot of it at a clear, in your face steakhouse. They even have a huge weber grill at the entrance that looks like a converted vw bug- it's probably bigger. But i digress- My logic was simple. I wanted fish and if they are capable of a good steak then the fish could not be that far off- And logic paid off- first the smoked salmon salad- served with candied pecans and beets and a nice balsamic dressing. It was lovely- the salmon was smoked nicely and was still succulent - the combination with beets and pecans made it a must order the next time I am there. Moving on to the main entree which was a cedar plank grilled salmon with green beans- it was executed nicely. Again, te salmon was cooked to perfection and the green beans were still slightly crunchy and not at all mushy - it's worth noting that they serve pretzel rolls with whipped butter- when they are warm they compliment anything- long story short the salmon was wonderful - I rarely order desert but I was craving vanilla ice cream and the first choice on the menu was a smore. All I can say is wow- it was deconstructed and presented with elements that spanned the temperature spectrum from frozen to sizzling hot. The use of marshmallow cream and and chocolate sauce was great- wonderfully sweet and fully an upscale high end version of a smore that one would have at their back yard barbecue! read more

We always come here when we visit Indy. Sometimes twice in one weekend! We started with the mini brat appetizer and the crab cake with corn relish and avocado. Both yummy! We ordered a Manhattan with Makers 46 and an old-fashioned. While the drinks were on the expensive side, $14 and $12, I would have to say the old fashioned was one of the best I've ever had. That meatloaf entrée is my go to meal, and it did not disappoint. My husband ordered the ribs and said that they were just OK. He ordered them with dry rub (no sauce) and said they needed more seasoning/flavor. Overall, a very good experience. We'll return next time we visit Indy. read more

Weber Grill is amazing. If ever in the city, you owe it to yourself to stop here. On my last visit, had the beef brisket. Smoked 12 hours, and you can really taste the difference.
