You do need to bring a rubber playground ball - google shows Walmart sells one by Franklin sports for less than $5-) The park is very clean, and it turns it's because one of the neighborhood family keeps it that way. We saw a man walking around with a bag and trash picker collecting whatever litter he spotted - what an amazing guy! There's no public restroom in sight or porta potty. However, there is a playground supervision office that opens from 12-6pm from 6/27-8/12 so it might have a restroom. Maybe?

They know my lil guy's name, they make him feel comfortable especially when learning new things. He looks foward to coming every week. 2) I love flexability of the schedule. They are open 6 days a week with various times available. Also, you can easily schedule a make up session. 3) They give feedback with sugguestions to practice at home right after the lesson. And parents of toddler age and up dont get in the pool with kid. There is a huge viewing area where you can watch the entire swim lesson and you child can see you as well. 4) You pay monthly and you can how many days a week you child goes. You even have the ability pause your membership if needed. 5) small classes only 4 kids per class. Overall,I could honestly go on and on about this place. The Clarence Senior Center is my mom's home-away-from-home. She's 80 and I don't know what she or I…read morewould do without this fantastic place! The senior center's director is an amazing woman who really cares about not just her job, but for those for whom she does this job. And the activities director is also pretty fantastic. She makes sure the seniors have movie nights, exercise classes, relevant guest speakers, and even fun trips. There are a lot of volunteer opportunities at the senior center as well. The building is sometimes used as a shelter during storms, and some of the seniors will volunteer to work during these times. In addition, it's used as a polling place, where many seniors find opportunities to serve their community. My mom also volunteers in the kitchen sometimes helping to prepare meals, at the front desk, and wherever else there's a need. She has delivered meals for Meals on Wheels through a program at the Clarence Senior Center. Every month we get a newsletter in the mail that outlines all the great programs that are available to members. Some things are there every month: weekly Bingo, Pinochle, Wood working, and a few other things. But then sometimes there are local trips, like to the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute and restaurant. They occasionally have mystery tours as well, where the travelers signed up don't know where they are going until they get there. Those are always fun trips (I know because my mom has asked me to join her on a few of them). If you've got a parent or loved one who is looking for somewhere they can go to play cards or Bingo or just to hang out and meet other seniors, this is a safe and welcoming environment. Tuesday nights is country line dancing with beginner lessons at 6PM, intermediate at 6:30PM, and dancing until 9/10 cost $10. My husband and I went for the first time this week. There were about 25 women of all ages in attendance. My husband and I did well with the beginner program, and stumbled through the 88!!! count intermediate program before deciding we needed to watch the You Tube video a few more times at home for that level. The group is very welcoming to newcomers, there are snack bags and water for sale or you can bring your own. I am definitely going back, and to Paula's other class at The Cove on Thursdays, as this will not defeat me. I think the Tuesday evening, and a 1st Saturday country dancing program are the only two regular events at Dry Gulch.

A quick phone call to the owner fixed this, however, as he came out forthwith to let us in. If yo have this problem, don't worry. They appreciate your business and won't leave you waiting that close to a cemetery. This space is pleasantly surprising. It's loud when you first walk in (because axes), but you get used to the noise quickly. There are 3 lanes and we reserved the middle one. Once our friends arrived, another owner came over and explained the rules of axe throwing in general and they game you can play. I learned a few things, including how terrible I am at axe throwing! The two people on duty (who I believe are the co-owners) were SO friendly and accommodating. One of the reservations didn't go through, so they allowed us to stay later than the end time and play another game. This prompted my husband to whisper "give them a good review." Like I wasn't going to already! This place is a hidden gem in Batavia. Run, don't walk, to place a reservation and get a bang for your buck! They even let us bring a pizza in, for crying out loud!
