This place has definitely earned all 5 of those 's and I wish that I could give them even more. I'd been craving Thai food for a long time and so when my hubby told me to pick a restaurant we turned straight to yelp to see what was in the area. The name was the first thing that caught my attention because it came up abbreviated "WTF". So that won my vote and off we went. We did have a little trouble finding the place at first but that was most user error on my end as my gps kept kicking me out. Anyway, the place isn't huge, giving it an intimate atmosphere. The first page of their menu actually recommends that if you're in a hurry to come back another time when you'll have more time as their food is made to order and can sometimes take a little bit to make. We ordered a couple of the steamed baos and the scallion pancake appetizers with the Thai tea. He had chicken pad Thai for his main and I had the spicy miso ramen. Everything was fantastic. But don't take my word for it. Check them out for yourselves and I guarantee they'll be your favorite new Thai place too. read more

On the Menu is good price for the area and delicious food but the 1 star I'm giving because they scam you when pricing. On the Menus says $8.95 for Drunken Noodles but on the receipt says $12.95. Then if you added shrimps. It's an extra $2 on the Menu but on the receipt they charge $3 . That's already $5 extra for what? Covid-19? And they even charge you more for tax (7%). Love WTF. I eat there often for takeout. I have my go to meals (Pad-Thai, Thai boat noodle, beef loc lac plate and hot basil). All of the meals taste great. My only complaint would be small portion sizes with the noodle dishes. I'm always left wanting more. read more

Super bummed I didn't take a photo, but I ordered last night for takeout. My boyfriends got the Drunken Noodles, and I did the Tonkatsu ramen, when I almost always get pad thai. My ramen was so good, they give you more than enough broth and the pork was so tasty. When I picked up the interior is super cute, and the lady who rang me out was funny and nice. To start I've gone to this restaurant on occasion since 2021. I got their shaking beef (beef loc lac) plate, spicy chicken basil plate, and Thai fried rice plate on rotation with a Thai iced tea. Their food is fine. Their service is what the issue is. The first time they gave my husband an attitude and almost wouldn't give him my food because they thought he was trying to steal. I ordered through Grubhub for pick up for us and sent him in with the name on the order, a picture of our order on Grubhub, and a text with what I ordered us. Instead of just speaking to him like normal they were treating him like he was trying to scam them and get free food. Which is ridiculous. How would he happen to have all the information for the order including a picture of the Grubhub order if it he didn't have consent to pick it up. We let it go because they eventually gave him the order BUT started going there much less. The second time they wanted to be disrespectful, today, we ordered over the phone. It was one Thai fried rice bowl and one Thai iced tea. I repeated this order THREE TIMES over the phone. ONE Thai fried rice bowl and ONE Thai iced tea. I tried to ask for the total but the woman who took the order hung up. When my husband went inside to pick up they added a $15 dish called Boat Noodle to my order................ I have no idea where on earth one Thai fried rice bowl and one Thai iced tea sounds anything like BOAT noodle. Normally it'd be no problem. Anywhere else they'd acknowledge it was a mistake on their end and just take it off. However, the counter lady kept talking over my husband and insisting I ordered it. He called me in to tell them I never ordered Boat Noodle. They were trying to say I needed to pay for the entire order even though it was wrong. The counter lady eventually snatched the bag of food out of my husbands hands and takes the boat noodle out speaking angrily in another language the entire time to the kitchen. She comes back and snatched my card out of my husband's hand. If it wasn't already 8pm and I wasn't so hungry I would've refused to pay because of this horrible service and gone somewhere else. Needless to say I will never go back. Imagine throwing a tantrum because YOU made a mistake. Absolutely unacceptable. read more

Ordered take-out when Wee Thai food was in there beginning stages of service. I didn't find it pleasant, I gave them another try after indoor dining was open to the public again, and I am satisfied. I ordered the tonkontsu ramen with a side of chili oil and it was savory. A friend and I also had the stir fry sirracha ramen, pork bao, lemongrass bao and I forget the last appetizer we ordered. One of the better dining experiences around the Lowell area. The Thai flavor at Wee Thai is about as close to the home country as you can get without getting a plane ticket. It's clear that the chef is very creative and does add some of his personal touches to the food. The lemon grass beef Boa was a full of flavor and tasted fresh. We order lunch from here from work once in a while. The food is excellent. I ususally get the Drunken Noodle, which is the spiciest vesion of this dish I have ever tried. Pad Thai is also good. The only downside is that we have to order from DoorDash to get delivery, and it makes it one of our more expensive choices, so we only order occasionally. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for a long time, what I was put off by trying is their outer appearance. The windows look outdated and could probably benefit from clear/see through windows. The inside is very nice compared to what it used to when it was a khmer restaurant years ago. I ordered the Thai boat noodles. I've never had it before so I didn't know what to expect. The broth is quite sweet for my liking and heart. The noodles were cooked perfectly. The portion was quite small, but good enough for me. I also go the spicy dumplings which I enjoyed. My husband got the pork bao which he said was just okay. He wanted to try ramen, so he got the spicy miso ramen, it was very bland. Decided to try this place out for date night-- first impression was that it was very clean, and had the friendliest greeter/attentive server. We ordered the takoyaki and chicken wings as starters, and they were both very satisfying. The takoyaki was nice and plump, and not greasy tasting like the ones you would get at Bonchon. The fried chicken wings were also not greasy tasting at all, but very crunchy and moist. For our entrees, we ordered the shrimp pad Thai and the crab meat fried rice. Both were more than excellent! The food wasn't heavy like you would find at other restaurants, and the portions they gave you were more than enough for another meal or two. Best Pad See Ew I've ever had. Not overly sweet like most places. The Thai Fried Rice is also delicious but the Pineapple Fried Rice is amazing. They also have Ramen on the menu which is not common at other Thai restaurants. Look for the dark building with the big "WTF" on the front door and run in for a great Thai experience. read more
