I work from home and one day saw them come by, stick a sign in the yard and walk in my front yeard for less than 2 min. Just stay away from this company. For the longest time they couldnt get my email address right which means I couldnt login to pay my bill so I had to do it via for 6 months. They gave me multiple discounts to get me to stay so I did. Then April first.....they come out and core my yard after I declined the service, tore up 2 of my sprinkler lines that I ended having to replace myself since their irrigation guy couldn't get my phone number right. Here it is May 9th and they never came out to do my March/April treatment. I am dumping them. They are just one excuse after another. read more

I would give this no stars if I could. We signed up with weedman with a one year contract, but we saw no results. Therefore we did not renew our contract with them. However, we received notice a technician came to our yard without our permission and they left a bill for us at our front door. I have proof stating we were not renewing our contract. Weed Man was recommended to me by a friend that is also my lawn guy. He was out today and couldn't believe how many weeds were in my yard. They started treating my Bermuda lawn late last summer after I fired Tru Green. I also let them talk me into an "organic treatment" last fall so my lawn would look better in the spring. I had them do a core aeration as they suggested I do in March. They have been out three times this spring for scheduled treatments, and three more times due to my lawn having more weeds in it than I have ever experienced. When the technician was here last week to treat the weeds for the second time, he left a note on my invoice that stated I should get a treatment to combat existing lawn disease and chinch bugs at $78/treatment. That's almost as much as my annual contract. I then called my exterminating service, who also offers lawn care, for an estimate. After I got the estimate, I asked if they saw any signs of lawn disease or chinch bugs. Their technician, who has years of experience, said no! I immediately fired Weed Man. They upsell you. They couldn't get my yard to green up. They couldn't control the weeds. After ONE treatment from my new lawn care company the weeds are gone. read more

Worst company for weeds. Not only do i still have weeds a year later with no period of relief in that whole time but now my fescue is being drowned out by Bermuda that started growing in the places where the weeds died. So now my yard is full of weeds, 70% Bermuda, and the rest patches of fescue. I was told there is no way for them to meet my high expectations. My expectations were to have a weed free fescue lawn. Not sure why that was so hard. Horrible customer service. Constantly trying to up sell you by text with no explanation about why you need the product. This is a horrible business with no morals. Please believe me when i tell you not to even give them a chance. We are going to have to kill our whole yard of grass and reseed next year in the fall or pay to have it sodded. Either way we are looking at a great expense or a great deal of effort. I wish they would just fix it or pay someone who can fix it. read more

Be careful. They will craftily try to up-sell you to addition products and services (and you might not even know or understand they just pulled a "gotcha" on you and found a way to bill you for additional services). The second complaint I have with them is they will do a lousy job of coordinating when they are going to come up. I'm not sure about a few of the reviews I've read but I loved what Weed Man Lawn Care did for my lawn. I could no longer manage the weeds on my own and I called them in early Spring. I saw results in a very short period of time. Once the weather became warmer the results made me the envy of the neighborhood. I appreciate the reminder calls from the technicians and the maintenance plan is very reasonable. I recently moved and I just had them come take a look at my new lawn. I spoke with Brett, who was very attentive, courteous and friendly. He answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. DO NOT USE WEED MAN!!! WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD. This company completely destroyed my front yard and now they are coming up with every idiotic excuse under the sun to try to avoid paying for it. My tenant hired them to spray for weeds. I told my tenant to get them out there to look at the damage. First excuse: they thought we had a fescue/Bermuda blend. We only have fescue and in any event, it's their responsibility to evaluate the yard to see what type of chemicals to use. I emailed them a copy of my tenant's invoice showing fescue seed was purchased, and now Garrett informed me of their most recent excuses. They're now trying to say that we didn't notify them in a timely manner. Give me a break. The grass started dying literally almost as soon as the guy sprayed. They sent some guys out last week to "investigate" (whatever that means) and then they never called us back. Now I have to get on their case. I am getting my attorney involved since the damage is extensive and will likely be filing a lawsuit. They are trying to say it wasn't their spraying that caused the damage. Obviously from the other reviews, I am not the only person that has had issues with this company. Spoke with a lady in Jan and she promised to resolve the incorrect charges. But didn't hear from them until Feb and when we called back the person Matthew was extremely rude almost yelling on the phine( never seen anyone talk like this with a customer) and ONLY interested in getting our card information to charge us!! Totally unbelievable! Do not use this business. They have no respect or courtesy for their customers, only want your money. Even while they serviced our property, I honestly feel they only drove up, came up to the doorway and hung their recipe over. They didn't spend more than a few mins anyways on their service visits. What a horrible company to deal with. They came to give me an estimate and said my yard and hill would be covered. When the guy came to do the treatment i reminded him to get the hill. He said he can't do it because it is a natural area. I called the service manager and he said that they can't do it. Ok well that adjust my price. No he would not and is expecting me to pay the first bill when they didn't even treat the agreed upon areas. Oh and I still have horrendous weeds all over. Treatment did ZERO. STAY AWAY FROM THEM! I'm only 1/2 a year into my service with Weed Man but am super impressed with their customer service. I am always greeted by name, people care what they are talking about and are very knowledgeable on products, services, ect. and my lawn looks better than it did then when Tru Green serviced us. I wasn't seeing the results i thought i should be initially and they were happy to come back out and re-treat my lawn to make sure i felt i was getting everything i needed. Weedman has been taking care of our yard for a while now. They are local, so they are easy to reach. We had a nationally known lawn service a few years back that did a terrible job and bothered us with repeat calls. The yard looks much better this year. We had a big problem with poa annual grass before and Weedman got it under control quicker this year. They call us to let us know about aeration, insect control, and disease control services quite a bit. read more

This company is truely amazing! The products they use are top of the line and specifically designed for Georgia red clay soil, Most fertilizer companies use the same products in Michigan, California, and Texas that they use in Georgia. Weedman is the only company that had adjusted their program to taylor what a lawn needs in Georgia. We have them a full year like they asked for and wow! Great improvements! If you look at any other ratings website you'll find they are ranked 4 or 5 stars on all of them except Yelp. Yelp currently has a class action lawsuit against them for making companies look worse than they are ,and only showing bad reviews! Don't believe me ?scroll all the way down and you will see at the very bottom in light grey letters it says 131 unrecommended reviews.. the majority of those reviews ARE GOOD, but somehow not factored in to the overall score. they try to charge companies to remove the bad reviews and hide the good! Weeds are somehow worse than when they started almost as if they are planting them themselves. Called to cancel and they claim we said "we'd think about it" and continued to bill us.
