5 out of 5 We visited the Southwest Firefly location this time, not the one on Paradise, which we've frequented many, many times and has long been one of our favorite restaurants in Las Vegas. Somehow, this location may be even more charming. It feels a little more quaint and intimate while still delivering that same awesome Firefly experience we've always loved. The food is unreal. We ordered 15+ different plates to share and somehow our bill was still just over $100. For the quality, variety, and amount of food you get, the value is seriously hard to beat. Service was amazing, the food kept coming, and the company was even better. Firefly is one of those restaurants that is perfect for going with friends, ordering a ridiculous amount of food, passing everything around the table, and trying a little bit of everything. This will remain one of my absolute favorite restaurants in town and somewhere I'll continue to frequent as regularly as my occasional allowance for excessive calorie consumption will permit. It's become one of our favorite spots to stop in for a quick bite and a drink when we're having a busy day and don't have time for a full dinner. The Steak & Mushroom Skewers were tasty, and so were the Lamb Chops, and the Brocolini. The Chicken & Mushroom Paella was OK. Just be mindful that it may take a while since they prepare it fresh. Cool and open interior, with a sit-down bar to the right, with big TVs to watch games. Seating can be arranged for larger groups. Friendly service, but mechanical. Going to Fukuburger located in the same complex a few times, I've seen this place but actually never been inside. Firefly has been on my mind for a couple of months and I decided to book a reservation here at their southwest location for our monthly date night. They also have another location on Paradise Road. Through Yelp, I made a reservation for 6/20/26 at 7:30pm. I guess a reservation wasn't really necessary because it wasn't busy when we showed up and there were plenty of open tables available. It did start getting a little packed towards the end of our visit, though. Tucked away in the back of the restaurant is a small, cozy bar and more regular seating. We started off with some cocktails. I got myself a La Paloma and my LTP got the Fly Tai (possible pun on Mai Tai?). The La Paloma was very fruity, had a salty orange rim, and a dried orange slice on top. The Fly Tai was also fruity and had a dried rosé on top of its' frothy texture. We were also given complimentary bread along with a scoop of butter. Next, we ordered the tapas. We weren't 100% sure how big they were going to be, so we decided on one to share, one for me, and one for him. We ordered the following; Serrano Sliders, Manchego Mac and Cheese, and Tortillas a la Española. The Serrano Sliders came with crispy onions on the side that you can put on by yourself. I'm not a big meat person anymore but these sliders were totally delicious! The Manchego Mac and Cheese was excellent and probably one of the best mac and cheese dishes I've had in a long time. The Tortillas a la Española had a very colorful orange sauce drizzled on them and they were basically like cubed mashed potatoes. The portions on each tapa were very decent and weren't too big for us, so we ended up sharing all three of them due to their size. I loved everything about this place, especially the mac and cheese. When we started going to firefly and getting the catering pan of ceviche, it was actually a catering pan and it actually fed Ted people easily. Now they've not only raised the price but they've lowered the amount to five people and didn't tell anybody. It seems like every time they're running out of product. They give us less charge us the same and make excuses that the catering pan is so many appetizer portions to feed what used to be 10 people and is now five people. Firefly. I've eaten at another location off Paradise and was expecting a similar vibe. This was entirely different. Very casual, open, cafe vibes. I didn't hate it but it felt far more casual than I was expecting. While I came here hoping to impress, to me, it felt almost too casual. The food is great. Ample selection of all the traditional favorites and some creative dishes. We had Tortilla Española, Gambas al Ajillo, and Pimientos Rellenos (sort of pictured) and also Scallops "Escargot", and crispy Calamares. While everything was tasty the portions were small, especially for the price I thought. A pitcher of Sangria and five tapas ran us $135 before tip for a party of two. I'm not sure the going rate of tapas in Vegas but this felt like a lot to me. Service was attentive and friendly. Would I go back? Yes, I would. Will I be looking for a better option? I will be doing that too. I think I preferred the location on Paradise. We wanted additional drinks couldn't get them, wanted to order additional plates, couldn't get that. There was about 45 mins where there was no server on the floor at all. So happy to see this gem is still around. We lived in the area for years and years. Moved away and many years later came back for a visit. I am extremely saddened to see how drastically they have changed their decor. What made firefly such a hot spot and so sexy were the flamenco dancer paintings and the darker interior. Now it felt like something from California. It's still cute but I was shocked. We ordered all of our favorites and every single thing was perfection. Service was good. It features a high ceiling, lots of windows so it is rather bright, and with modern decor at this location. The tapa food portions are okay, but pricey IMO for what you get. The tapas we tried were very good, but the prices were not during happy hour yet. The service was good. The restroom features a fun donkey mural. There is an outdoor private patio that looks inviting. I don't know if I'll return due to the prices. Maybe occasionally. TBD. read more

They are kid friendly so be sure to bring your kids with you to try them out. Food was great and I would highly recommend the fries (which you can never go wrong with), chicken empanadas, and the petite filet mignon. They do have seafood options for those who don't eat meat. Service was okay. Only giving it a 4-star because our server took too long to take our order. There was one thing too that I noticed in my receipt after I left... I ordered a mocktail, but meant to order the cocktail version and I asked if it was too late to change my drink. It was literally just the alcoholic version of the cocktail that I initially ordered. Well, when we left I looked at the receipt and noticed that my server still charged me for the drink and did not remove it at all even though she said it was okay. I also really enjoyed the lamb and the octopus. However, the paella was the most disappointing dish ever. Please don't get it. It lacks in flavor. Tapas time! I absolutely love coming here. The interior is both beautiful and inviting, and on any decent Vegas day, we always kick things off with sangria on the patio. We usually visit during HH offered Mon-Fri from 4-6 PM featuring discounted drinks and food. Tapas is hands-down one of the most enjoyable ways to dine with smaller portions meaning more variety. Even the complimentary bread with almond and honey butter sets the tone perfectly. Our must-order faves include: Stuffed dates - sweet, chewy, and salty. Albondigas - incredibly moist and filled with fresh herbs. Calamari - light and tender with just the right amount of chew. I had a pleasant experience here with my 2 girlfriends on a Friday night. We arrived around 8 and didn't have to wait long for a table. We were quickly brought waters & bread. We ordered a bottle of Cab and a bunch of shareables (filet, vegan crab cakes, vegan fries, mac n cheese, and their spicy shrimp). Everything was perfectly cooked especially the petite filet. Went to lunch with a close friend, and this was my second time eating at Firefly, but my first time at this location. Right off the bat, I loved how cute and well-decorated the space is. They also have an outdoor patio, which we were hoping to enjoy but unfortunately, it was raining pretty hard that day, so we stayed inside. Our server was really sweet and gave us plenty of time to look over the menu. We ended up sharing a few dishes, and everything we had was great! I absolutely loved the Manchego mac & cheese and it was so rich and flavorful. My friend went with her usual avocado toast, which she always raves about, and yep still a favorite! This location is smaller than the other one I've been to, but it has a cozy charm to it. We both agreed this spot is definitely going to be one of our new lunch meet-ups. I have been a fan of Firefly for over 15 years from the original location. I was excited when this second location opened up near my mom's. It's smaller and feels more casual than the flagship location but also not as busy. The staff is friendly and the service is great. The menu is nearly the same, though I wish this location would serve gazpacho too. We love the apple manchego salad, stuffed dates, scallops escargot, tomato basil soup (with grilled Brie sandwich), and just about everything we've had here! The flan is also yummy. Giving a gracious 3 stars because the food was delicious but the service and kitchen organization desperately need improvement. We waited 1.25 hours for one dish to come out and this was after me asking the server to bring even just one dish out. She told us the kitchen was backed up but gave no updates or something to help us with that wait. Further, albeit the server was being considerate of my allergy, she canceled a dish our party ordered because I was allergic to it without asking if we actually wanted to cancel it. The rest of our party could've eaten it so that was a mistake on her part albeit well-intentioned. Lastly, on top already mounting awkwardness and possible resentment, our grilled cheese was not melted so we asked for it to be re-done. One friend is vegetarian and this was her main dish than she didn't get to enjoy. When I asked if it could be pressed more, the server showed slight annoyance/confusion. The pacing of the meal was wildly slow. Our server told us twice that the kitchen was backed up but even so, 1.25 hours of waiting for one dish (even a cheese dish) is just bad time management. There was no offering to give free bread or anything to assuage the long wait which I feel is a missed opportunity in hospitality. Further, on our way out, no one said goodbye or thank you for coming which felt cold. The service was bad--period. That's not our fault; it's yours. It's a shame to write this but I'm doing so in hopes that the organization will improve. Not sure yet if I'd come back because of this experience. read more

We decided to place an order on many different tapas. The ones I do remember getting were the fries, crabcakes, and calamari. I had been to Firefly when it was closer to the strip so I believe this can count as my second visit, but first time at this location. I was with my family and baby looking for an assortment of feed to appease everyone's appetites and saw this location. I am so happy we made it for Happy Hour. Most plates were $7 vs the $11 or $14. I'm also happy the ambiance was nice but not overly stimulating or loud so my baby was able to sleep peacefully during our whole meal, only waking once the check arrived! 2 of us ordered a drink and mocktail, we pretty much ordered everything on the happy hour menu, ordering the dates and stuffed peppers twice and our bill came out to $100. I'm happy with that. The favorites were: bacon wrapped dates, calamari, chicken skewers, stuffed peppers and the meatballs. Service was fine, they were really good at the beginning but as the restaurant got busier, closer to 6pm, we had to grab their attention more. We came to this location because they had an event going on for Sunday. The music and energy was lively. We ordered our food and drinks and everything arrived at a timely manner except for my son's chicken and waffles. It was 40 minutes later and two follow ups with the wait staff before it was brought to our table. My son watched us eat while he waited for his food. I was told by the waitress it was because they were busy and chicken and waffles takes longer to make. I asked to speak with the manager and she was argumentative. She kept trying to push the idea that the chicken and waffles took 40 minutes to make. The dish as you can clearly see is 1 round waffle cut into 4 pieces and two chicken nuggets split into two pieces, stacked up with a garnish of strawberries and powdered sugar served to us cold. Not hot or even warm. Cold. The situation would have been handled better if they owned up to possibly haven given my son's order to another table by accident or the kitchen forgot about his order. I would have not been so upset and would have been more understanding. I know nothing is perfect and it's not my first time dining here. But to continue to argue with me and push the idea that this mediocre dish took 40 minutes to prepare is absurd. Their paella takes 45 min to prepare and they put a disclaimer on the menu. I told the manager if you know your chicken and waffles takes this long to make why is it not written on the menu like your paella? Why didn't your wait staff check to see if i was willing to wait for 40 minutes for my son to eat his meal? She eventually offered to take the dish off my check. But at that point I was already annoyed and frustrated. That manager needs to do better at handling customer service and shouldn't approach customers with an attitude. Her vibe didn't match at all the restaurants or any of my past experiences with Firefly. I've been dining at firefly for over 15 years in all their locations and if there was ever an issue it was always handled with how can we make it right. Not arguing with the customer. Looking toward the kitchen, I saw only my side of bacon sitting there. When my food finally arrived, I was told there had been a "printing issue." Unfortunately, after only a few bites, I pulled a long strand of hair out of my mouth. I asked the bartender to remove the meal from my bill, and her response was simply, "You can leave now." The entire experience was disappointing. There was no apology, no concern about the hair in my food, and no attempt to make the situation right. The lack of customer service and accountability was unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I hope those reading this reconsider eating here. read more
