Prior to the move, they called a couple of times to confirm locations, prices and optional add-on's. No answer and the mailbox is full. Impossible to communicate with. - December 16, 25. My in-person experience was relatively good - good enough that I was posting about it to family and friends with high recommendation. But the day after the move I went to set up my TV and discovered that the screen was severely cracked, having been (it seems) pinched in the top two corners. The crack spread across the entire top half of the screen. The TV works, but is unusable. I had to buy a new one, which cost me almost $200. I submitted the damage complaint twice and was not even contacted. For a company that calls and emails every day for a week trying to GET my business in the first place, that is particularly gross. As it stands now, I can't imagine ever using or recommending College HUNKS again purely because of the lack of response to my complaints, let alone lack of resolution. If you don't have anything fragile, sure, go ahead. But maybe move the fragile things yourself (my TV was the only fragile thing I did not move myself, and I sorely regret it). I will add that it was a 3.5 hour job that involved moving down from a second floor in a house and then up to a third floor in another house, and the TV was the only thing damaged. It was not packed in a box and the movers assured me they could use their TV bag and it would be fine. It was not fine.

Our first phone call was prompt and positive to arrange the move. He called prior to the move to confirm the detail, (items, location and contact). His arrival was timely and very professional. Items were wrapped and carefully taken from the unit to the trailer. No time was wasted and everything arrived at the destination quickly and in the exact condition they left the unit. I highly recommend using his services.

They helped from beginning to end and they were in contact step by step. Everyone was super nice, professional and prompt. The unit was securely built and arrived clean. My brother, the packing guru, used straps to secure items. When I opened the door upon arrival in California, not a thing was out of place or damaged. It truly could not have been easier. We emptied the unit at our leisure (3 day window) and they promptly picked it up. I'm so glad I arranged to have items shipped. My kids were right - I would gave regretted not having my dad's desk. The customer service was impeccable each time we communicated. Once dropped off, we had three days to pack it up and lock it and they took care of everything from there. They moved the unit from Ohio to MN and even stored it for us for a small fee until we could move in. They dropped the storage unit in front on our move day and had it picked up and out of the way the next day. Highly recommended!!!
