I've used these guys for years with OK results. David and his co-workers are extremely nice people…read moreand very polite. But... Recently I gave them my Stihl weed trimmer and at a fair price they replaced everything, even though I had only used it occasionally this their last tune-up. When I got it got it home, it wouldn't stay running and the gas tank leaked the expensive ethanol-free 50:1 mix I was told by another party was the only way to keep these 2-cycle engines from gumming up when not in use. I'm disappointed and it's a long drive there. Sorry to have to write this, but buyer beware.

FRUSTRATION!!!…read more DISAPPOINTMENT!!! If you have read any one of my reviews you will see how much of a proponent of local businesses I am. I am also loyal to these businesses far beyond what most people will tolerate when things go south or are below previous experiences. Therefore, it is with sadness that I must issue my first "One Star" rating. Not wanting to relive the frustration of explaining all the details of why I gave this business a one star rating, suffice it to say that I have patronized this place over half a dozen times over the course of several years. This is not a one time occurrence, but an experience that is consistent with each visit, purchase or phone call. I have taken several pieces of equipment for repair or service, friends and neighbors items too, and each time, the result has been the same: Crap. I still do not have a properly running piece of equipment. Whether it be chainsaws, lawn mowers, weed eaters or a garden tiller, I am amazed at how the repair or service can be performed, the machine will operate and then begin working poorly or will stop working after what seems to be almost a pre-determined time. What's going on here? It operates, I get half a use out of it and I am back to square one. I do better fixing it myself; which is not saying much. Save yourself the cost, frustration and loads of time, driving and otherwise, and find another repair shop; I will. Customer Service: 1 Star Quality and Timeliness of Work: 1 Star

With a number of locations spread around Tucson and operating hours 7 days/week, I forget how…read morequietly convenient this place is and that alone warrants good stars. Like the Discount Tire of batteries, they will test any battery for free - and I have leaned on that service to check on everything from key fobs and watch batteries to large "brick" power sources (think large toys; home/alarm backup batteries; etc.) to vehicle batteries. I like how they always explain the test results -- i.e., the voltage vs amperage and the significance of the "cold cranking power." I forget every time (and they kindly don't remember I forgot :) One of their neatest offerings is the "lifetime" battery replacement for select gadgets. For roughly double the cost of a one-time replacement you get lifetime replacement. Either way, they replace the battery for you as part of the battery purchase. I use the lifetime option for my old school watches (think Timex/Casio). Bear in mind each device and owner are carefully registered in their database so that there is no way to "double-dip" by improperly switching a dead device with the device you got the replacement-warranty on. They carry virtually every type of battery in-house too so you have immediate replacement options. Their dates (always check) are consistently "fresh" - meaning expirations are far into the future.

I came in with the air pod and I asked the young lady to please help me to buy the correct battery and help me install it. She was very rude and said if she changed the battery it would be twenty dollars plus the cost of the battery, she stated it was company policy. Is that the way to treat customers, let alone a person with disabilities? I will not be going back. Kathy Campbell Borchers
