This place is awesome, they do an incredible job my only complaint is the don't use fast drying topcoats and they don't have any drying spray. I got my nails done at 430 and went to bed 10 and woke up with sheet imprints on my nails :/ next time I think I'll take in my own bottle of seche vite. read more

Let me tell you, that deep tissue massage is no joke, kept laughing to cope with the pain but that did refresh me. I had the older massage therapist, I call her mamasun, and she worked her magic to make me feel refresh even though it was painful at first. it was a great experience. will definitely go back in the future. read more

Walked in with no appointment for a no-chip manicure and they were able to take me right away. The staff is very nice and the atmosphere is relaxing. They need bigger work areas, though. The UV drying lamp had to go right in front of me and it wasn't terribly comfortable to rest my arms on top of the very warm lamp while she worked. Plus getting my hands fully inside the small lamp required me to hold my arms at rather uncomfortable angles. Also, it took FOREVER. I've never had a no-chip manicure take over ninety minutes before. Part of it was that the woman was very careful in her work, which I can't really fault. But she was also acting as receptionist and had to interrupt the manicure several times to answer the phone or help someone at the desk. Then she left me with both hands in the UV lamp for over ten minutes at the end while she started a manicure on another guest. All in all, I don't think I'll go back. My nails look great but it wasn't all that comfortable an experience. read more

Poor service. My dermatologist asked me to use a certain procedure on two of my nails. They refused. Still charged whole amount for 8 out of 10 nails. Also wanted to charge $5 to remove no chip. Then the technician reported my credit card declined. I called the bank at the time of charge and no charge had been attempted. I go to different salons twice per month. Glad I read the other yelp reviews before coming. This place looks very unimpressive from the outside with their neon signs. If I hadn't read the other reviews I never would have considered going. Once inside, it is like a spa experience at neon sign nail salon prices. It is family owned and run and they spend a lot of time making sure that you are comfortable and having a good experience. I was a walk in and they took me and a friend without any delay. And, they are open on Sundays which is a bonus. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to others. Awful, awful, awful. I have been here 3x. The first time they had to do my manicure 3x. The first time--awful, ridges and bumps. The second time the same. The third time it was decent enough to leave (after 2 1/2 hours). The second time I was there for a mani/pedi, the pedi was horrible and the polish chipped the next day....something I have never experienced before. Well, the third time was the WORST experience of my manicure life. I again was there OVER 2 hours. The woman put silk on one of my nails and the glue bled into my cuticles. She then proceeded to start chopping away at my cuticle on that finger. I kept telling her it was PAINFUL and she said "well, you're not bleeding..." This painful fingernail experience went on for over 25 minutes. I couldn't WAIT to flee this place and will never return again. The nail on the finger she put the silk on became disembedded from the finger...now I have to wait until this heals. read more

I got a no chip manicure and pedicure. The prices are very fair. They were so nice and did a great job. I felt like they really took the time to do my nails well. At other nail salons sometimes I feel that they rush through my manicures but here that definitely didn't happen. I also tore my ACL and came in with my knee brace and they were very accommodating. Can I just say heavenly? I am nine months pregnant and had a heavenly chair massage and awesome foot reflexology. Clean, relaxing, nice comfy black leather chairs in the back, the reflexologist (think it's the owner man?) was awesome, relaxing music, tea. Also have had a wonderful pedicure at 9 pm on a Saturday night when they were technically closed but they accomodated me. I am definitely coming back. read more

I thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing mani/pedi and the ambiance is very relaxing. I went back for a 30 minute chair massage since I am currently six months pregnant and was having terrible upper back pain. The massage helped ease my stress and pain. I've been here a handful of times and I have to say I can't go back. As much as I love the massage they give you when you get pedi. I've worked in spa/salon before so I know the in/outs of it. they use a scrapper for feet and has your feet feeling rough n cut. they don't apply the nail polish on neatly. so if they make a mistake they "fix" it . i've had a few toes looking as the color of the polish because they don't take the time to fix it correctly. i've had two manis here and both times i've had bubbles on my nails. The staff is friendly and it's a cute little place. The price are reasonable and u get the service u pay for. I also got a brazilian here. (I've had this service before at other places ) OMG..don't do it. you walk into the room and u lay on paper towels. they clean you with paper towels. They do double dip and everytime she ripped the paper off she SLAPPED IT.. not a pat not a hold SLAP SLAP.. I just keep thinking OMG let this be over fast. She thought i was being werid cuz i jumped. who slaps it? and that is my experiecne there. Another thing if you call and make an appt doesn't mean u have an appt at that time. it's more of a notice letting them know you're coming. sometimes they take u on time but depend if it's busy. read more

I really do like this place, the personal attention they provide is great and sometimes they will offer complimentary drinks. But my issue is eye brow waxing, the first time she did them she thinned them out so much. I was so disappointed and told her they were too thin and bit my tongue and left. The second time I did them with her was a few months later. And I was in dire need of some eyebrow cleaning up and was short on time for a meeting. So I went ahead and specifically told her not to make them thinner and just to clean them up. She went to town on them they were pencil thin, I'm assuming she messed up on one with the waxing and plucked the hell out the other. She also plucked the inner part of my eyebrows making them more apart.. Oh goodness I was mortified. It's my fault for giving her a second chance. I vowed never ever to get them done there again. Oh and also the chair they have you sit in the back for the waxing isn't a proper chair for the waxing and may be the reason why she messes up. But as for nails they do a great job and that is all. read more

Love the salon! Went there today and it was just perfect. Very friendly staff. Very clean. Nice and relaxing. Oh, the pedicure was fantastic. Ada provided my pedi services and she is fantastic. She did such a wonderful job on the polish. Perfectly done. Nails filed evenly. She really worked on my callouses - and they sure needed it. I appreciate that Ada was mindful of how rigorous to be with the callouses and she really gauged her level of pressure. I will definitely return. read more

I dont see why people love this place. The massage portion was horrible during my pedicure. Absolutely no pressure used. There's also polish all around my cuticles on my toes. The hand massage was decent. I asked she cut them down a little bit, she barely left any white at all! My nails are shaped differently. I put 1hr 50 mins on the Meyer to be safe, my no chip/pedi took exactly 2hrs 15 mins so I got a wonderful $20 ticket ontop of paying a ridiculously over priced amount of $70(!!!!!) for a regular pedi & no chip. My regular place charges me $45 for the combo. I've been getting my nails done for 15+ years and NEVER paid over $55 for the combo unless I got extras. This place is a RIP OFF! I WILL NOTTTT BE BACK ABD ADVICE OTHERS TO GO ELSE WHERE WITH THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY! Thanks but no thanks. read more

Not the worst experience but definitely not best. The pedicure was long and wonderful- it became clear when I got my manicure after that they were understaffed. More and more women came in and the woman helping me rushed through the manicure. There's still polish on my fingers that she did not clean off, and a lot of inconsistencies as well. read more

This time I brought my sister with me. We both had mani/pedis. They were also have a special free 10 minute chair massage. We really enjoyed our couple of hours there. The family is so nice and make you feel like you're in their home. Before I left, I made a reservation for a massage in a couple of weeks. Best I've had in Oak Park - I can walk from my house to other, lower priced spas, but the quality of the service, cleanliness of the facility and the charming, Well-Coming staff are far superior to any other service I've tried at this price. The pedi is outstanding. They can take my feet from Hobbit to Runway in just one visit. I very much appreciate that they sanitize their tools (at my last visit the unit was sitting right in front of the pedi spas). The environment is calm and soothing. The people are very friendly and accommodating. I've even taken my friend over for a little pedi party. Would recommend this to anyone. I've gone to this place three times for a no chip manicure hoping my experience would get better but sadly it didn't. The no chip doesn't last as long as it should because they filed down my nails to the point they are very thin and then it chips. I will say they did honor their 7 day guarantee and fixed 2 nails that chipped in less than a week. The staff is somewhat friendly but they talked to each other the whole time and said little to me. It strikes me as a bit rude. After 3 times, I think I'm done. There are plenty of other salons with bigger color selection and pays more attention to your nail health. read more
