My new favorite restaurant! This was such a great place! Loved this place! I can't wait to come back here, again. The lobster was super fresh! Their fries were thick and delicious, as well. I loved eating on the outside patio, too. I would definitely come back here. Our server was super friendly and helpful, as well. I'll definitely be back here soon.

This is definitely a neighborhood place. It's casual and unassuming. You walk into the bar and make your way to the side dining room. The staff was welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful for us first timers. We started with the wings, cooked perfectly, crisp, medium heat with a slight sweetness that made the finger lickin' good. I got the overeasy burger, medium and a side salad instead of fries and a Cosmo. My burger was cooked perfectly and the egg too, great flavor on the burger! My Cosmo was great and the waitress checked in on us just enough. We were disappointed they were out of their top desserts but it was a great experience so we'll be back!

When we arrived we were seated by the tall young man waiter. HE WAS HORRIBLE! Could have cared less about service OR TIME FOR SERVING! we waited at least 45 minutes for food. Almost the entire restaurant got served while we waited. i finally stopped him and asked? "Oh"? suddenly he goes back and comes out with our entrees'. i usually have linguini with white clam but tonite I opted for veal saltimboca. BIG MISTAKE the veal was just warm and the prosciutto was CRUNCHY like it had been sitting under heat lamps. i asked about potato instead of pasta and he upcharged me for roasted potatos that were hard as rocks. he basically ignored us the rest of the night. finally i grabbed the bus boy about dessert. the tera missus is FANTASTIC! the busboy brought the coffee too. our waiter was nowhere to be found. Finally, i caught his eye and asked for the check...WHAM took 5 seconds! HE really needs to up his game!

The menu has some classics as well as twists on standard brunch dishes. I loved my avocado toast, which had some unusual texture that made it very memorable. I was surprised it wasn't too busy for brunch. Don't let the secret out!

I also want to preface this by saying that I think this place is a solid choice and it is not a bad place to grab a bite or a drink. I have been a couple of times now. While I would go back again, I wouldn't go out of my way to go there. The ambience is good. It's a nice space and it does have space for both larger and smaller groups. The wait staff is also very nice and I have zero issue with them. The food is good enough, although not spectacular. They are definitely going for a high end bar/brunch/dinner spot. A step up from a local pub, a little bit more of a shine/elegance to them. The vibe is actually great for a larger group. The most recent time we went, our table got steak nachos, a burger, the sweet potato and rice bowl (with shrimp added), and a steak sandwich. The steak sandwich was reportedly really good (I didn't try it) and looked nice. The nachos were fine, not great. Didn't feel like there was enough cheese, but the steak on it was actually really nice. The rice bowl was really not exciting. There was nothing elevated or nuanced about it. The shrimp was the best part and was beautifully cooked and seasoned, but that was an add on and I would have been disappointed with it if not for the addition of the shrimp (which then made the bowl over $25). We ordered the burger medium rare, and it came very well done. To be fair, when we mentioned it to the server, she took it off of the bill, which we appreciated. Overall, I would say the food is hit or miss. Most of our proteins were cooked very nicely and with good flavor, but the other parts of the meal were just fine, not great. The price point is such that I expect a little more for what I am paying. That being said, the staff is nice and the ambience is good, so for a quick and easy meal, it's worth it if you are in the area.

The Claudia mocktail was the perfect blend of sweet and dry. The cauliflower fritters (which the waitress told me were more like cauliflower cakes than fritters) were absolutely AMAZING. By far the tastiest bite! The brussel sprouts were good, I liked that they were chopped up into manageable pieces, I hate when they're cooked in halves because they are usually still pretty hard and not cooked enough. These were good! Maybe needed to be cooked with the bacon more, if you didn't have a bite along with the garnishes, you couldn't really taste anything but pure brussel sprout. I went to order the filet mignon but the waitress said they only had NY strip so I got that, it was very flavorful and cooked great. It was sooooo tender. I only wish that it was served with mashed potatoes instead of roasted potatoes, personal preference. My mom got the chicken which was really good. Risotto is not my thing so I didn't really like that but it's fine cuz I didn't order it anyway! lol I got the banana bread pudding which didn't taste like banana to me but was a very good bread pudding! and the mint and strawberry garnish with the ice cream was so nice. Everything was so tasty! I hope they create seasonal menus because there's only fish or meat for the entrees and there weren't too many options. This was also before the hard grand opening launch so I think things will be evolving! Also overheard them talking about brunch so you KNOW I'll be back for that.

Our server was so friendly and welcoming. They are clearly creating an environment meant for the whole family. They are truly catering to the community. They have good happy hour specials and we were told kids (I think under 12) eat free on Sundays, and I can say we will definitely go back with the small human. Like I said, the menu is a little all over the place. It's definitely meant for comfort, but it was kind of hard to tell what direction it was meant to be. We got cocktails and they were great. Definitely had a southern, down home kind of vibe. We started with the nachos and soup of the day which was New England clam chowder. Both apps were great. The soup was really hearty. It's not always my favorite because when not done well, I really don't like it, but their New England clam chowder was truly exceptional. Nachos were loaded up and really good. For mains we got the BBQ duo of chicken breast and ribs. The chicken really was just chicken breast with bbq sauce on it, so nothing special but at least cooked well. The ribs were tender. We also got rigatoni rustico, which sounded more interesting than it was (it had a creamy Dijon sauce, which is what prompted us to order it, but the Dijon was hard to taste). That being said, it was still very nice. Overall, the menu was a little all over the place. It might be better if they picked a direction (definitely seemed geared more southern) and focused on whittling down the menu. If I could give half stars, I would give them a 4.5, but I'm rounding up to a 5 for exceptional service and a great vibe for the entire family. They're really aiming to serve their community and I love that.
