Enjoyed dinner with friends last night on a quick visit to NY from Texas. Cozy venue with friendly staff. The clams were tasty and so were the stuffed mushrooms. I enjoyed the shrimp appetizer too. The zipper de pesce was a large portion of deliciousness... clams, mussels, shrimp, and calamari. Nicely done! read more

I posted a nice review a few months ago. Unfortunately, after two more visits I have to edit. Two weeks ago we went with a friend on a Saturday early dinner say 6. When we arrived we were seated by the tall young man waiter. HE WAS HORRIBLE! Could have cared less about service OR TIME FOR SERVING! we waited at least 45 minutes for food. Almost the entire restaurant got served while we waited. i finally stopped him and asked? "Oh"? suddenly he goes back and comes out with our entrees'. i usually have linguini with white clam but tonite I opted for veal saltimboca. BIG MISTAKE the veal was just warm and the prosciutto was CRUNCHY like it had been sitting under heat lamps. i asked about potato instead of pasta and he upcharged me for roasted potatos that were hard as rocks. he basically ignored us the rest of the night. finally i grabbed the bus boy about dessert. the tera missus is FANTASTIC! the busboy brought the coffee too. our waiter was nowhere to be found. Finally, i caught his eye and asked for the check...WHAM took 5 seconds! HE really needs to up his game! read more

Have happily eaten here many times under previous ownership. The new ownership is very disappointing. Service was fine but confusing. Initially a waiter takes your order but is never seen again. On a scale of 1 to 10, food was at best a 5. Swordfish special was close to inedible. Fish was mushy and tasteless at $38.00. Ordered a side of spinach for $9.00 that was so bad that even Popeye wouldn't eat it. All of the entrees were blah - tasteless. Veal Rolletine at. $33.00 was in a mystery Marsala sauce and none of the ingredients worked together. The pastas were all too al dente. Over $40 per person for four people with one appetizer and four entrees - no drinks, no sparkling water, no coffee, no tea, no deserts. There was no reason to stay. Food was mediocre. Service was horrendous. One hour and 20 minutes and my main dishes weren't ready??? I had to go inside several times to find the wait staff. I finally had to call it at 80 minutes with no mains. Paid for my apps and beer and left with my partner. How is this place still in business? The waiter looked flustered by the kitchen. read more

The food is very good but service is very slow. We arrive at 6:30 and didn't get out until 10. We did a lot of waiting around for the waiter to come back and take out order and deliver food the place that was busy. They should have more than one waiter who does everything read more

Without a doubt the best linguini/ white clan sauce around. At least a dozen clams we'll prepared .my local fave in Briarcliff gives me 6 for more money. I know linguine with white clam isn't a culinary masterpiece..but it was that good! Don't miss the tira masseu (sp) read more

We went as a group for dinner. It is a tastefully done restaurant and there is on street parking. We had the bruschetta to start with which was average-way too raw onion and overwhelmed the too little tomato and basil that was also on it. Even after knocking most of it off the bread, it still was too much. Entrees were all great. 2 had Frutti di Mare which had lots of seafood on it. Other dishes were Shrimp Francese, Tagliatelle Bolognese and Ravioli. The person with the Ravioli said it was OK but had too much sauce. read more

Piero's has my absolute favorite vodka sauce in the area. I always get the rigatoni alla vodka every single time. I find that most Italian American restaurant dishes are too heavy for me (as an Italian American myself) but the rigatoni alla vodka is perfect. What a charming little Italian restaurant in Harrison, New York. The food was delicious and the staff attentive and professional. The venue very comfortable and cozy, the noise level very tolerable. We started out with hot antipasto was outstanding. It included each of the following: Stuffed mushrooms filled with a very cheesy and well seasoned breadcrumb mixture. (2) Baked clams, the clams were whole and again with delicious breadcrumbs, 4 steamed mussels, 2 stuffed, baked shrimp and a nice portion of eggplant rollitine stuffed with a creamy ricotta. Our main entrees were "chicken ala Pieros" which included two very tender chicken cutlets, pounded very thin, covered with artichoke hearts, mushrooms and slices of sweet red peppers in a delicious brown sauce, a side of spaghetti with marinara topped off the dish. My much better half announced that the Chicken Scarp was the best she's ever had...'nuff said ! For dessert we shared delicious Tutufo ! The menu is reasonable and not overpriced or overpopulated ! The owner is a charming young man who was very thankful that we enjoyed his food and hospitality ! Go to Piero's you won't regret it ! read more

We had a very nice dinner here. Started off with Tricolore salad and a bowl of pasta fagioli . The salad was perfect, cold with lots of gorgonzola cheese on top. They split it for us on two plates. The soup was homemade and delicious. For entrées, we got the hot antipasto and the chicken and shrimp Nicola. The hot antipasto was very good and contained a great variety of delicious items ranging from clams, mussels shrimp and stuffed mushrooms. Just perfect. I was a little disappointed with my entrée, the chicken and shrimp Nicola. It was a little bland and the shrimp was overcooked. It was a stunning dish to look at, but I wish it was not equally stunning in taste. It really needed some garlic or some punch to the sauce. however, on a positive note, the vegetables in the dish were very fresh. This restaurant is a hidden neighborhood gem, and service is very good. I will definitely be back and try again. Judging from the other dishes we got, this place can be outstanding! read more

Do not be fooled by the 4.5 rating. The food here tasted like it was from a supermarket. . A simple pasta with pomodoro sauce was soapy- no al dente and the sauce tasted like cafeteria food at best. The fresh mozzarella tasted like tofu- it was flavorless and accompanied by iceberg lettuce and big pieces of roasted peppers- no presentation or taste. The Caesar salad was dripping with what tasted like bottled dressing. Went with Family the other night. Must have been short staffed as Service, though Friendly, was Extremely slow. Very slow with drinks and taking of our orders. After that the Staff was Friendly and accommodating when they got there! The Food was Very Good, Fresh and Tasty! Will go back and do recommend to try. A great local spot for traditional, southern Italian food. It caters to an older crowd (that includes us). The winners are the eggplant parmigiana and almost all of the chicken dishes. Baked clams were somewhat disappointing. Nonetheless, the experience at this restaurant is relaxing while maintaining excellent vibes. This is my go to Italian in lower Westchester. read more

The service is always slow- the four times I have eaten there, I have never gotten my food in less than an hour, even when the dining room is not full. This might be because I am not a regular- those who are sitting at the bar each night and are known to the owners seem to enjoy a special status. (Seems like they may be responsible for some of the 5-star reviews). The food is mostly average, but some dishes are subpar. The ravioli is inedible, for instance- the sauce is sweet, and the ravioli I received were still a bit frozen on the inside. The chicken parm was painfully average- same problem, bad sauce. The fish doesn't taste fresh. The quality of the food rivals a pizza place, not a fine dining restaurant. read more

This has been our go to Italian restaurant for as long as I can remember. First in Port Chester, and now in Harrison. I have to start by thanking the family for two generations of outstanding food, service and hospitality. We were sad to see that the family decided to sell. But are happy to report that the food is just as good as it used to be because the chef continues to work for the new owners. Piero's is a local gem. The food is amazing, as other reviewers have said. I've tried three different pastas and been very happy with all of them. The linguini with clams in white sauce is particularly excellent, and if you ever see the homemade cavatelli with sausage and peppers, you should absolutely get it. Peter is generous with the pours on a glass of wine, and he makes the margaritas with fresh lime juice and agave nectar. Everything I've put into my mouth at Piero's is yummy. Hands down one of the best Italian restaurants in Westchester. The kitchen is precise and hasn't missed a step since their move from Regent Street in Port Chester. This is easily one of the best Italian Restaurants in Westchester, and Peter has done an unbelievable job of executing his father's vision. From fun-loving nature of the staff, who don't forget a face, to their unbelievable cuisine; this place is a can't miss. My favorite part about finding them after their move to Harrison is that they have the same staff, and the food just gets better. I've been going to Piero's since I was a kid and I love it just as much as the first time I ever went. Piero's has an amazing family restaurant feel. Peter and Andre welcome guests with open arms. The rest of the staff are friendly and have become my Piero's family! I was extremely nervous about the move to Harrison, but the food is the same...delicious as always. Yes, there are some differences such as the specials printed in the menu, more tables, and a much bigger bar, BUT I still crave Piero's whenever home for the weekend. We have family friends who come to visit once a year and have one restaurant request, Piero's. My favorite go to dish is the chicken francaise with a side of garlic and oil pasta. I don't know what it is, but I can't get enough. The sauce is perfectly balanced and the chicken is moist. The mussels appetizer is always a solid option. My dads go to is the osso bucco or veal chop. My mom loves the linguine with white clam sauce. read more

This has to be the worse restuarant in New York. The service was absolutely horrible. The chicken Parm was like rubber. They do not offer oil and garlic for side dish of pasta which was all stuck together. The bread was very cold, maybe frozen. The table cloth was paper. The table was severely warped and we asked to be moved they said we couldn't yet several tables were open. Our table was under a ventilation vent and went from hot to cold constantly making it extremely uncomfortable. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else. read more

Now that restaurants are opening back up, we decided to dine at Piero's for outdoor dining. We sat at a lovely corner table on the sidewalk and were able to watch people walking by. We were a little nervous going out to eat on night one of phase 2 but they were so welcoming and careful, we couldn't have felt more comfortable! Every worker was wearing a mask and very cautious. Menus were laminated for easy sanitizing, tables covered in paper for easy clean up and everything on the table fully sanitized. They only have 5 tables and we got the last one around 7 pm, might be a good idea to call before arriving. Beyond the cleanliness, the service was fantastic! The owners came out to greet us, check on us, and chat. Waiter was wonderful, answered all our questions and made sure our table was always clean and clear! We had the chicken parm, lobster ravioli, chicken scarpariello and the special halibut. Everything was absolutely delicious from the wine to the meal and sides! If you are nervous about COVID and outdoor dining, Piero's will for sure take care of you and make you feel comfortable. But even beyond that, the food is delicious- you should definitely stop by! read more
