Worst customer service here. Tried multiple time to call to only have it ring for up to 25 min before hanging up. As I wrote this, it's been 3 hours since my appointment time and I am still waiting. Prices on the website are a bait and switch, especially the COVID antibody test, it's $150. Nobody can explain why prices are wrong on their site. Plenty of excuses and no action. You must see a provider to get a test, but not at other testing centers. Avoid coming here, it's all about profit and less about patient care. read more

Such a bad experience. We made an appointment at the earliest allowed time for a COVID test. I was having surgery out of state and due to the fact you have to get your test in so many days I had to have a rapid test. Nobody around me did rapid testing. We made the 3 hour drive to Oswego (fun) for my 12:24 appointment. After waiting 20 minutes in the car my husband went in. They said they had some more important cases and had to push me till 1:48, so fine I waited. By the time they stopped making excuses it was 3 before they finally saw me. So I drove 3 hours to wait in my car for 3 hours. Worst part is I knew I was negative but if I was positive I would never know because he barley went an inch inside my nose. read more

Flu season is here on top of the covid pandemic. ive been feeling deathly I'll the past couple days so I go to well now to get checked out because I, along with many others refuse to use Oswego hospital. Well I walked in after work and I was told they don't accept walk ins. The lady at the desk was awful rude as she turned me away. So out of curiosity I called there this morning to see if they accept walk ins, come to find out they do. So I proceed to ask why I got turned away and I got every excuse in the book along with a rotten attitude. Find a different profession if you don't care about the well being of others. read more

Went there yesterday with a multitude off symptoms from being dizzy when I stand to my eyes and face being full and everything in between , they were rude was told I couldn't wait til Friday to pay my co pay that I couldn't be seen unless I paid the co pay. after finally asking to use the money I had set aside for gas money for a friend I was able to be seen , the doctor or whatever they weee came in before my vitals were ever taken. She didn't say her name or even ask much of anything when she checked me out and I said oh that hurts about my ears she said my years were clear(they've been popping and ringing for days), she told me it was virus and texted me for flu and Covid both came back negative when I said I needed a doctors note for work she told me my testing results were good enough. I went to Fulton urgent care today cause I wanted a second opinion they tested me again for flu and Covid but they also did strep since my throat was red and my ears were infected all test were nega, they agreed to it being viral but said they still felt that giving me some meds would help me feel better since I looked and felt so crappy they did what well now didn't and they didn't lie about it read more

Great staff- super speedy service- x rays and results inside of an hour- thank you. One suggestion- there was a 19 yo boy refusing to wear a mask- or at least refusing to cover his face with it- would love to see you refuse service to such selfish individuals who unnecessarily put your staff and other patients at risk. read more

I have never felt the need to write a yelp review until I went to this Urgent Care. The desk attendants were rude and mocked a man who had been waiting for SIX hours in the waiting room to get a COVID test. My friend waited hours to be seen only to receive neglectful care. She went back the next day and was treated with the same indifference. She has since gotten treatment from the hospital instead and is still waiting for her results from this Urgent Care nearly seven days after her first appointment. read more

We won't be going back to WellNow in Oswego. We had a horrible experience on Easter Sunday and I felt like the PA, Brian Rafferty, was not listening to my concerns about my son and how sick he actually was. The doctor looked at his ears, mouth and nose and listened to his chest and just says yeahhh it's allergies. I'll do a covid test but it's just allergies, he has post nasal drip. I knew it was NOT just allergies! I know my child and I tried relaying the message to him. So he tells me I sent over a prescription for steroids. Thinking and then speaking out because it's just allergies? right? My child has been sick since the 7th of April with fevers up to 103 and this asshole didn't want to here any of it. So we left. Monday I called to make an appointment with his primary and they got him in today. As soon as the doctor walked through the door he asked exactly what has been going on. Wanting to know his symptoms and how long he was sick for. As soon as he looked in his mouth he knew it was more than just allergies. He has croup! He is on 2 medications and will finally be able to attend school tomorrow. I just want to tell all the parents out there. If something doesn't feel right, keep asking questions and advocate for your children. I'm so glad we decided to keep his pediatrician. He listens to our concerns and gives great feed back. read more

I don't even give them one star. I had an appointment for a covid test at 11:13. They still did not call me in at 4:30 when I finally left!!!! I went in multiple times and they kept telling me the same thing. Unbelievable. And in addition to that all of the positive covid patients are being seen among every one else so if you didn't have it prior to going I am sure you'd walk out of there with it!! Wow!! I am totally impressed with this facility and staff. The Monday after Thanksgiving, I tried to get into my own MD's office for an earache that had been cooking the whole weekend- no luck. So, I decided to try this place. I was able to 'check in' using their website, and arrived at the appointed time. I was immediately greeted and my wait time was less than 10 minutes. I had an employee get injured on the job; a small-ish laceration. I performed all his first aid, including all measures to stop the bleeding. I was concerned about his clotting vs. the types of medication he was on (google search), and had him driven to urgent care as he was feeling woozy, may have needed a tetanus shot, and I wanted to be sure the bleeding stopped. He was not seen promptly, even though his finger was wrapped in bloody gauze, he was treated rudely by the staff, and the dr was rude and asked my employee if he *wanted* stitches, not clearly identifying if they were necessary or not. Thankfully, by the time he was seen the bleeding had stopped. The dr. then covered my employee with skin glue (his hand was covered, he showed me), and slapped a band-aid on it, said due to his age his tetanus was "probably good" and now wants to collect from our Workers Comp. We'll be alerting our comp company to deny the claim because we will not allow our premiums to go up for care inferior than that of me, the office manager. My family physician was closed for the afternoon. I was not feeling well at all. I have been to Urgent Care in Fulton, and never feel welcomed except by the receptionist. I figured I would try Five Star and it was a great experience for being ill.. I had bronchitis and sinusitis. They Sid chest x rays and a nebulizer treatmeant. I was only there for less than an hour. And all the staff was amazing.. Definitely highly recommend!!!!! read more

I have never had a worse experience at a medical facility in my life, and made a yelp account just to share my experiences at the Oswego WellNow Urgent Care. The prescriptions I needed were never sent to my pharmacy, I was promised a call from the doctors and never received one, I was put on hold on the phone for over two and a half hours when trying to call for test results and no one ever picked up, and I was supposed to receive testing results after 3-4 days but still have not received them after a week. The staff have been uncooperative and frankly rude when I try to get answers, with the manager refusing to come speak to me even for a minute. When I asked to file a complaint, I was told that there was no one I could contact. In the past two weeks, I have been to this Urgent Care four times because it is impossible to contact them over the phone and the only way to speak to someone is to walk in and demand to see a doctor. I have also noticed several other patients that have had altercations with the staff and expressed their frustrations about late testing results and poor treatment. One man told me that he had been in the waiting room for over 6 hours. I ended up going to the ER last Friday because the staff at Urgent Care was literally useless. I have never felt so disrespected by the members of a medical care facility in my life and this behavior is honestly inexcusable. I am extremely disappointed and if you are considering going to this Urgent Care, I would recommend you reconsider and go to the Oswego Hospital or the Urgent Care in Fulton. read more
