I went to Brentwood branch and had a horrible experience. The Brentwood branch made me feel like me being a young black female that I was immediately someone suspicious. To shorten I wasn't allowed a cashiers check to put a down payment on condo, and was also refused service at the teller line to pull 40 dollars. Mind you, not once did I yell, curse or even be disrespectful. When I told the BM I'm moving have you ever moved? She got up and dismissed me like I was a peasant. I went over to Antioch branch, spoke with Vincent and he resolved everything and listened and allowed me to vent about my experience. He was a banker, manager, therapist, and someone that I feel truly cared. Not only did he provide amazing service and save my relationship with Wells Fargo as a new customer, Camille "head teller" & Aurora as well were exceptionally kind. Day and night experience with this branch compared to the other. If you want a good experience with wells go to Antioch and have Vincent help you! This location is always busy! There's always a line. It's hit or miss, sometimes the lines move fast sometimes it doesn't. It just depends on what kind of transaction people are doing and the number of tellers working. They have improved since the pandemic though. Still need much improvement. My recent experience was not very good. A representative called me to make an appointment about a CD and I decided to take him up it on the offer. I went to the appointment, showed up 10 minutes early, and he was still with his previous customer which is fine. Until it was my turn. I waited for 15 mins. He didn't even come and acknowledge me or say how much longer he'll be. So, I told the manager and he was not helpful either. Anyway, in the future, if you're going to call someone in, to sell you products or what not, you should take the time to acknowledge your customers. So they don't leave. I been with Wells Fargo for more than 20 years, I think they can do better. By the way I choose to stay with the bank because I like the on line service, just the experience at the local branch needs improvement. read more

Employees seem to not want to help people. They would rather greet and chat with visiting employees, make smart comments when people complain about the long wait times than help customers. 40 minutes to make a payment when their online system refuses to set up properly (their IT can't even figure out why I have an issue) is beyond ridiculous. I have never seen a bank ran this way. I'm used to all employees pitching in to clear the lines. Not here! This bank is very unprofessional and clearly does not know how to provide good customer service or function with any type of customer first methodology. Called this branch 5 times today finally a staff called Ren answered. I told her I'm returning a banker's call. She just said will transfer me to leave the banker a voicemail. I told Ren that I already left a few voicemails over the last few days to the banker. I asked if she can leave the banker a note instead of me continuing to leave more voicemail. Then she became frustrated and put me on hold. She said she wants to take pen and paper to write down my info for the banker. She put me on hold for more than 15 mins to grab a pen. I have been to this bank in person. The bank is not that big. I don't know how long she walked for 15 mins to grab the pen. She may already walked out of the bank. I decided to call again using a different phone. Ren answered right away. So she was not doing anything. If I don't call with a different phone, I don't know how long she wants to put me on hold because I just asked her to give a little note to the banker. She intentionally put customers waiting because she doesn't want to do the work. It only need 2 seconds, but she refused to do that. I understand if it's busy, but this person Ren is simply refusing to do her work. Sitting there, and let customer wait on the phone. She said she will let the banker call me back, but I doubt it. My husband and daughter dispute a charge that was completed on my daughter's account from another state. Greeted vy the security guard and was told to wait just a moment. One of the agents came out and asked if they had an appointment. My husband said, "No, we have a dispute." He was told to make an appointment or just call. The agent said they were all waiting for appointments and couldn't help. There was nobody in the bank! Agent just couldn't take a few moments to help before his appointment arrives. This isn't the first time we have been turned away from this location. Honestly, it's very irritating. We have been with Wells fargo for many, many years, and it makes me reconsider in counting to conduct business with them. Wow. Went here to make a deposit for my work. Social distancing is NOT enforced here. I felt extremely uncomfortable while making a large cash deposit and someone is using the ATM less than 12 inches from me. Come on. What about COVID-19??? On the way out. I have been a WF customer for 19 years! I have always had great service, even at this location. But last Saturday I went in to open an account for my daughter. Yes, I did I arrive an hour before closing I figured it wasn't anything complicated and we would be in and out. As soon as I walked in and told the gentleman what services I needed, I could tell by his body language he wasn't thrilled and nor was the the sales rep he took us to. The whole time we were there the girls at the next desk over were having personal conversations about going to the gym etc which I felt was very unprofessional and our sales lady was also getting personal phone calls. I never felt so unimportant as a customer. When we were done, I went outside to make sure my card was linked to the new accounts which they were BUT there was an error. Some of my existing accounts were no longer accessible. I was going back into the branch to have it resolved but they had already closed. The sales rep offered to look into on Monday and give me a call with a resolution. It's been a week and no phone call. Bottom line, I was dissatisfied with the service and I am now considering moving all our accounts to our other institution. read more

I have been a valuable customer of Wells Fargo for over seven years. I went today to cash my check with my bonus and was told that they couldn't verify my check. That was written off their bank. I paused and asked her to repeat what she said, I then left and called 1800 number that also explained that if it's one of there checks she could Verify right away. I then went down the street to Wells Fargo on Brentwood, OMG, different attitudes; they were able to verify and cash, making me a happy customer. I will continue to escalate this issue as far as I can. Please don't judge a book by its color. Yes, I'm a person of color, but I charge this to her ignorance of not knowing her business policies. They set me up with an account with a large monthly fee. One of the account service reps thankfully called to change it. The next time we went in the original rep was upset that the other one helped me. I really don't like this branch. I got charged some overdraft fees that I know were "bank error" but everytime I tried to talk to someone they kept telling me that it wasn't their fault and that they could reverse it. I literally got overdrafted about $120 worth of fees. For something they did wrong! I'm a college student and pretty much broke all the time. Do you really think I can afford just spending $120 just cause? NO! I ended up going to one of the Fremont branches and was able to get it reversed. Rather than attend to my father as a customer, the girl (named Jessica or Yessenia) at the window talked to her friend the whole time the next window over. The simple withdrawal that should have taken less than 2 minutes took over 10 because she continued to joke with her friend and make racist jokes. Ridiculous management. There is NEVER NOT a line out in the sun. It took me a week to find the time for the line so I could deposit my money. (Too large for app & and ATM puts a 12 day hold on large deposits). Two tellers working and only six people allowed in. AFTER the mask mandates lifted. It would cost $200 for an easy up so that 75 year old ladies aren't baking in the sun waiting for an understaffed bank to actually take their money! (Saw that). What happened to service? I've never had a bad experience at this location. When I opened my accounts here, the people assisting me were incredibly friendly and explained everything to me very clearly. I do pretty much ALL my banking at this location. There are always crayons and coloring pages available for my kids to work on while I'm doing my business, and the staff are always very welcoming and happy to help speed the process along as quickly as possible. The single best experience I had was when I changed my last name. I needed a way to keep my previous name on my account because I still have a few places where I use it, and the lady assisting me knew exactly how to work that out for me. The only negative thing about this location is the parking lot layout, and that's not Wells Fargo's fault at all. read more
