A woman did my pedicure, and I specifically mentioned that I don't like polish getting on my skin. She tried to clean it up, but I still have gel polish on my skin 5 days later. I kept hoping it would come off on its own, but since it's gel, it's definitely hanging on. I hate being picky, but when you're paying $70+ plus tip for a pedicure, you want the polish to look clean and professional. The salon itself is clean, staff is kind, the decor is nice, and even the flowers outside give it such a pretty, welcoming vibe. I would return, but I'll definitely be requesting the older gentleman who did my first pedicure.

My cousin's pedicure was completed by three different technicians. The first did a great job with the cleaning and massage. A second technician applied the gel French polish to her right foot, but then a third technician came over to do the left foot. Even after my cousin asked for it to match the right, the French tip was much thinner. Instead of fixing the left foot, the technician tried filing down the already-finished right big toenail to make it match. We repeatedly asked her to leave it or make it look like the original, but she ignored us until it was obvious we were very unhappy. My experience was even more concerning. During my pedicure, I noticed the technician dabbing my big toe several times, but she never told me she had cut me. I also saw her take out what appeared to be super glue. The polish quality was also unacceptable. My cousin and I had regular polish on our fingernails done on a Wednesday evening, and by Saturday afternoon, before the wedding, it had chipped so badly that we both had to remove it. My gel polish on my toes was no better. Gel polish should last several weeks, but by week three, it had already come completely off three toes and was lifting on several others. A few days later, my toe became infected, and I had to go to urgent care. That's when I realized she had cut me during the pedicure. I'm still waiting on my medical bills and plan to discuss them with the salon owner.

While I've stayed across the street from the salon on other visits, I had no idea it was there. You enter the building, go upstairs and towards the back of the building before you finally find it. The space was very clean and quiet. There were only a handful of people working that afternoon. My nail tech was quick to get me seated and made sure the water was a good temp. I was given a bunch of polish samples to look through. Overall the pedicure itself was great. She did an awesome job cutting down my nails, trimming my cuticles, and taking care of my calluses. I gave a four star instead of five because of the paint job. It was a lighter polish and dried really streaky. The cost of the pedi was what I would expect to pay. And I definitely would go back and just be more conscientious about color choice knowing how this one turned out.

The service itself was great! Went here for pedicures with my boyfriend and this is the first place I've been to that didn't short me on massage time compared to him (I suspect because I get my nails painted and he doesn't). That alone was fantastic! The pedicure itself was very relaxing, and our techs were so friendly. I also appreciated that they checked in with me about how my toe nails looked and double checked before painting them if there was anything I wanted adjusted before they began. I found the pricing very reasonable, it was very clean inside, and I appreciated the comfortable massage chairs. Definitely will be back!

It might be because I'm not high maintenance or it could be because they are just that good. My money is that they are just that good. The salon is conveniently located in the Fred Meyer center at Linder and Chinden, next to the UPS store and Nick's. It's a little tucked away, but once you find it, it's not easily forgotten. I am welcomed in every time that I come (which has always been on time - it's important to be punctual here as they are very busy!), usually by Phi. On my most recent visit, I booked a mommy-daughter pedicure and they ensured that our chairs together. The new chairs are quite fancy...very comfortable and I love that the massage options are easy to select and understand. We chose the deluxe pedicure with regular nail polish at $55. It was well worth the price considering how masterful Phi trimmed my nails, cuticles and then moved on to the multi-level scrubs, massage, heels and painting. I felt utterly pampered. What a wonderful experience. I would recommend over and over again!
