If the service advisors aren't trying to swindle money out of you for things covered under warranty they are refusing to talk to you about engine lights coming on at 37,000 miles. These service advisors are not good people. They are trained to just pull in money. They don't treat customers like anything but a cash cow. Btw, I had a Bronco sport that was 37,000 miles when the engine lights came on. It was trying to stall on me. One of the employees stated, "Oh yeah, Broncos are known for this." I looked all over for a truck and finally came across this F-350 with a great package and low miles. Someone else had originally put a deposit on it, but when that fell through I called in with some questions. Austin took my call and immediately stood out. We live about five hours away, so buying sight-unseen can be stressful, but Austin went above and beyond. He answered every question I had and even sent videos of the specific things I wanted to see so I could make an informed decision. There was never any pressure -- just honest communication. We ended up negotiating a deal, and Alex (the manager) was extremely supportive throughout the process, making sure all of our concerns were addressed and that everything was clear before moving forward. Why when a customer writes a review, the company can never take accountability. They reply to the review only making excuses and half truths. Seems like Kristin Goff the owner at Wendle Ford in her reply is twisting my words, I never said they weren't communicating after the fact, during the sales while at the dealership is where it all went awry. The communication between me and Teriana was poor after the fact as she wasn't seeing my point of view. I was feeling like it would be awkward to return to the dealership after trying to get my point across. Seems customers cannot tell their experience without being made to feel uncomfortable, so the owner is out of line. Another problem found with my NEW truck is the back seat, I was cleaning the windows and was holding the headrest and the seat came down. I didn't know it even did that that, there's a pull you should have to use to pull it down so the seat is not engaging in the lock. I told Teriana and she stated it worked when I was there which is not true as the only seat she showed me was the part you sit on showing me the storage underneath, did not show me the part you lean on or I would have said something then. read more

I unfortunately had a terrible first and ultimately only experience with Wendle Ford, I had gone in for a manufactured recall and was told they do a courtesy inspection over the car which I then mentioned how great that was because the car had a oil leak I noticed and I asked if they would take a look at that. A couple hours after I dropped my car off I received a phone call saying everything was ready and good to go. When I got my inspection email it said my car was 100% perfect and great condition. No issues, when I arrived to pick up my car, the gentleman at the counter told me the technician reported to him There's no active leak whatsoever and the car is in great condition. I felt it was a little odd because I knew for a fact there was a leak. So when I got home I got under the card took a peek. As you can see in the pictures that I've posted, there was a current and active leak to the common eye. I reached back out let them know there was a leak and that it was strange that my car got the green light go Everything's good No concerns. I then made my own personal post on my social media platform and Within an hour I received a phone call from one of the higher ups at Wendle Ford who was apologizing letting him know they seen my Facebook post and how they wanted me to take it down and wanted to make this right and asked if I would bring the car back in to have their lead technician do a proper inspection because the original technician admitted to not even lifting my car in the air and looking at it even though he signed off as if my car was in perfect condition as you can see in the 1st email of my inspection. After taking the car back that same day to have it reinspected I then received an over $3,000 estimate for all of the issues they had come to find wrong with my car. They also gave me a certificate for a free oil change and car wash to use at a later time. I again went back to my social media post and posted that this was the outcome and solution that Wendle Ford had decided and how I felt incredibly uncomfortable to bring my car back if they would do the proper job so I made a comment on my Social media post that I would not be using this gift certificate that they gave to me. I then received a phone call the next day from one of the higher-ups at Wendell Ford Just to let me know that they saw my comment on my post about me not feeling comfortable taking my car in for any additional work and that I would not be using the gift certificate So they called me to let me know that they were canceling the gift certificate they gave me and if that is not one of the most unprofessional petty things a business as well known like this could do I don't know what else is. There was no reason to lie to me in the first place about inspecting my car and then to take away the gift certificate you gave me as a way of saying I'm sorry for what we did and then calling me to let me know you're canceling the certificate is the most ridiculous thing I've ever experienced in my adult life. I will say after this experience I would never recommend Wendell Ford for any reason and for the people who do have work done, I would suggest and hope that you get a second opinion and check that the work has been completed properly yourself. I understand people make mistakes but the way this company went about fixing their mistake was not very professional at all. We used to love this dealership and our family has purchased many cars here over the years. We come here for service on my wife's car and things have just gone downhill. An example: Set up an appt for a recall that is supposed to take just a few hours; show up for said appt and they haven't ordered the parts. 3 days later we get the car back and for some reason there is duct tape strips on the front fenders. The work to be done was at the rear of the car. No apologies or offer to remove it when we brought up the issue. This just seems to be typical these days. Dealership is terrible at communication or ethics. Deducted points twice from my account for a routine service. Once which was agreed upon for oil change, then again days later. If I did not randomly check my account, I would not have known. Then said they would call me back after I complained, guess what no call. I have also asked on two different visits now about recalls and service campaign work, only to be ignored, and hear nothing back. To take points or money with no authorization, no communication, not call back, no responsiveness or engagement, no accountability, and not perform safety recalls is very shady, unethical, and what sets a bad dealership and business practice apart from a good one. But this time it's our trucks receiver board must be the problem, not that they are having problems themselves, IT'S OUR FAULT! CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS B.S? Why does out truck key and Fob work? I bought Kristin G's demo truck and got a really great deal. They paid off my Colorado ZR2 with near zero negative equity and it was nearly new with 18k miles on it. I love my Raptor. Hit a deer at 70 and did near no damage. Some plastic and radiator fitting broke. When I got it it said it averaged 22 mpg fuel. It must be downhill both to work and home for her . I purchased a 2024 Ford Ranger from this dealership. 28 Jan 2025 initial purchase of vehicle. No sound out of speakers from AM/FM/Sirius. Patrick the salesman took our concerns to the service department. It was discovered that there was a bad audio module (dosen't anyone do quality control checks before the merchandise makes it to the lot?). The truck was left at Wendle, and we were allowed to take the Nissan we had turned in for trade home again with us. It was determined that it would be approximately 3-4 days for the part to come in. My wife works so having a vehicle for me is important as I from time to time need to run errands. On the 16th of February the truck once again had issues with the stereo. This time it seized up and none of the buttons worked between AM/FM/Sirius. On the 17th I got a phone call from a salesman from Ford to inquire about our purchase. By this time, I was hot. I explained to him what was going on and he asked me to bring the truck into the service area and he was going to text me a name of the person I should ask for. No text ever came. At 3 PM on 18 February we returned to Ford to speak with Mr. Grimes. He told us that he had tried calling twice and when asked what number he called, he did not repeat my wife's cell number. He informed us that the infotainment module was placed on the diagnostic machine and the issues we addressed were duplicated. We asked what was causing this--we were told that it was in fact the radio. He said that he could order a part, and it might be in the next day. I told him that possibly and might are my least favorite words. His response was "I don't care what your favorite or least favorite words are". For customer service I would think that this would be one of those statements that could be made to get one fired for being so disrespectful. On the 20th I contacted the service representative to see where the part was. I asked when the part was supposed to come in. He said that he could put me on hold and go to the parts department to see if there was a scheduled date. He told me that the part would be in by close of business on the 21st. I proposed an agreement that if the part was not in by C.O.B. on the 21st that the appointment made for next Tuesday needed to be cancelled and the claim for the warranty needed to be closed so that another Ford dealer could do the warranty work. He agreed to that. What he did not know was that I had called another Ford dealer who was able to pull up the records and to his dismay he saw where the truck had been brought in, that it had been put on a diagnostic machine that the audio module had failed, but there were no specifics listed as to what all was wrong with the infotainment module. What I also did not know was around the same time frame my wife contacted Wendle and spoke with someone other than Chris. She did some research for the part and discovered the part would be in on Monday. What Chris was saying and what Kalya said cannot exist on the same plane--someone was lying. I trekked two hours from Coolin, Idaho, bright-eyed and ready for an oil change, transmission service, and some standard maintenance--y'know, the stuff you advertise as your bread and butter. Boy, was I in for a treat. Your opening act? A cheery $1,800 quote at 8:30 AM, with a promise it'd be done by noon. Spoiler: it wasn't. Then came the plot twist--a "surprise" $600 primary and secondary diesel fuel filter was "in need of service" , which bumped the bill to a cool $2,200. Oh, and that filter? You had to go get it because, apparently, a Ford dealership doesn't stock parts for a Ford truck? Bravo for preparedness! By 2:40 PM--six hours later--I finally got my truck back, and you didn't change the transmission fluid because it'd take "an extra three hours" to drop part of the truck transmission to get to the fluid flush? Forgive my ignorance, but isn't that something you'd know before quoting me? Silly me for thinking a dealership would plan ahead for a basic 50,000 mile service ON A FORD TRUCK (are you in the Ford Truck business?), , which was the REAL reason I drove in to Wendle. And when I asked to see the old parts, like the filter you charged me a small fortune for? Poof--they'd vanished, probably off to star in their own mystery novel. Here's a tip: when you charge someone enough to buy a used car for half a service, maybe keep the old parts for a show-and-tell or, I don't know, actually do the work promised. I drove two hours expecting expertise, not a masterclass in upselling and excuses. Then there's the synthetic oil saga. I've always used synthetic oil for my F-350--keeps that 6.7L Power Stroke purring. When I asked if they used synthetic, he casually dropped, "No." No? hey buddy, that's not a plot twist; that's a plot hole! You didn't ask, and now my truck's sipping the wrong juice. But wait there's more! The standard tire rotation, which is typically done, (and I asked for), they spaced and didn't do it. For a service that cost more than my first car, I'd hope rotating four tires wouldn't be an optional side quest. Wendle Ford's hold music proudly claims you 'do the right thing' to keep customers coming back for generations--bold words for a shop that turned my 50,000-mile service into a six-hour, $2,200.00 circus, and that's $2,200 not counting the no transmission service fiasco! Between skipping the transmission fluid change, slipping in regular oil despite my synthetic preference (thanks for asking), misplacing the old filter I wanted to see, and a 6 hour visit, I'm guessing 'doing the right thing' is code for 'doing half the job at double the price.' Generations of this service might explain why my truck's still waiting for the care you promised. Next time, I'm hauling my F-350 to Take 5 Oil Change--y'know, where they actually ask if I want synthetic oil, pop it in faster than a pit stop, and don't make me camp out for six hours in a service bay nightmare. Stay-in-your-truck service and no $2,200 surprises? I want the business to be there today, tomorrow and next year. I know that now is not the best time for selection or to negotiate the lowest price. I feel that I got a very fair price that allows the owners to keep their business open for me in the future and pay employees so I have people I can rely on. I got a great vehicle by being a bit patient. Nick was the sales person and he knew his trucks and didn't try and answer those few questions he didn't know without checking first. I have a Ford Escape that I recently took to Wendle Ford to get the airbag system checked out. The light had been on for about 3 months, so I thought I would take it to the Ford dealership and have it fixed. I had also received a recall notice for the transmission. I called in November to make an appt. and the next available opening was January 26th. I know everywhere is like that now, so that's fine. They had the car for four business days plus the weekend. I went to pick up the car, and they hadn't even looked at the airbag problem. I was told that the light wasn't on when they brought it into the shop. I have an extended warranty, so they told me that it might not cover the repair if the wires had been cut, chewed on by an animal or had water damage. This tells me that they didn't even bother to look at it. Another issue is that the person at the counter told me that he personally wouldn't even get it fixed because he once got burned when the airbags in his car did activate. I had high hopes that this dealership would be different that the last place I took it to. Nope!! Are all Ford dealerships like this? It's a crying shame when they won't even back products that they produce. I ended up taking the car to the Car Max dealership and had their shop look at it. I made an appointment with them for an oil change/tire rotation and to check on an issue with the windows they did not correctly fix on my 2020 ford. The appointment was on thursday at 2:20. I dropped it off early and let them know i would pick it up friday morning to give them some leway. I called friday morning to inquire about my car. The receptionist said someone would call within the hour. No call. I called again, as we had to leave town by 3pm. I was told someone would call RIGHT BACK. No call. I called seven times. Even the recptionist said she would personally walk over to check on it as i was getting panicked. She never called back. I finally just drove there. I was told when i got there it "got lost" in the system and no work was done. I would have been 100% ok with that and bringing it back after my trip, if someone would have CALLED me and told me that before stressing me out all day looking for my car. They never have the parts for the recalls we get from ford, our 2020 hybrid escape has 2 right now and they say they can't get the parts. Had a problem with our car and they told me I couldn't get it in for 3 weeks. I feel like that is unacceptable. I contacted a ford dealer in Coeur D'alene Idaho and they can get me in on monday and let me hace a loaner car while mine is getting fixed. Just purchased a preowned for certified 2014 F1 50 raptor. Love the atmosphere of the sales people here are non-pushy whatsoever very kind worth with me several times going back-and-forth with different vehicles test driving them blah blah blah over and over. Very easy going kickback place. With each vehicle Isaac was able to go through and point out the features and compare through new vehicles Ford F150's compared to Raptor. We did check out a couple areas around Fred Meyer they have some hokey lots that were selling trucks my goodness those guys were so pushy and turned me off right away I didn't even want to look at the trucks that were used. None of them are clean on the inside literally had feathers in there from I guess the person was hunting if you're going to try to sell a car at least clean it. GROSS. Anyways it was super easy to go back to Wendle Ford. Super stressed free I will definitely be making a future purchase here again. read more

This company is not to be trusted. I am a certified auto mechanic have my AA Degree in automotive science and technology, also an AA Degree in Diesel, Hydraulic and Heavy Machinery . So I could have done the work myself but at the time I didn't have my LLC established for the Automotive mechanic shop I will be open. So when I Say " not to be trusted" , understand I am not your average customer. Made an appointment with them to have some diagnostic to verify some work I needed to have done so my service plan and purchased in about the vehicle would cover pay for the work he also paid for the diagnostics. My wife is also age disabled veterans she retired after 17 years and this is their only form of transportation . She worked and I was finishing my last yr of school. So we need it . The first thing is they were supposed to do was call the company to set up payment accounts, so the service could be completed. It took them nearly 3 weeks of them making excuses of how they were waiting for approval and trying to get us to sign for a $4,000 in work say the service company probably will not cover it if it . At that point I called the service company and they said that Wendell Ford had not even tried to call them. While at Wendell my wife called company and handed them the phone. What was supposed to be a $100 deductible ended up over $2000 after some discussion we agreed on $1000 and they still tried running out card for the full amount. When it came to the time to pick up my car the ford guy denied my current vehicle bc of the dent in the back of it and blamed me for not saying that there was one. This indeed was not the truth as I came in before and mention this. But bc the previous person made no notes on my last visit my family and I suffered the consequence. I was not asked if there was anything wrong with my car. the deal was made with me and I signed paperwork. The ford guy was so passive aggressive and wouldn't even make eye contact when he spoke to me so much, so that my teen even caught on to it. Once I learned that they wouldn't sell me the car after signing paperwork and told I was going to get the car they say "I feel bad we were so close but we got your approval and it's good for thirty days". the ford guy proceeded to tell me incorrect information about my insurance saying they would pay for the dent and how it's a $3000 fix when the bumper itself doesn't cost nearly that much and mentions that his services were out a month. Then gaslights me and says "im sure the hatch doesn't even open." when it does as I open and close it everyday. All in all the tugged me around for a day and a half and had my family and I convinced that the car was ours and took it all away as soon as we got there on fault that was not my own. I will absolutely not be going back in 30 days and will take my money and time elsewhere to be treated not only fairly but respectfully as well. My brother brought his truck in for a front end alignment because he had noticed a shimmy while driving. After being charged $2001 for an alignment and an oil change, he drove home (8 miles on a 60mph highway) and parked it in his garage. the next time he backed out, the right front wheel fell off. He called the service department to get a resolution, and was contacted by a lawyer from (S)Wendle ford and was told that they were in no way responsible, and that he would need to pay to have the truck towed back in for evaluation. I believe that he has been taken advantage of, as he is suffering from age related memory issues, and is quite passive and non confrontational. Awful service from the Service Center, they had my car for over three months and offered me no rental car or any compensation, and that was after waiting many weeks for an appointment to even get the car into the service center. I would never buy a car from Wendle Ford again, nor will I use their service center, I was extremely disappointed. My car sat on the lot after being dropped off for at least 10 weeks before they ever even diagnosed the problem, it took several more weeks for them to determine the transmission was indeed covered by the warranty, after which it took yet another couple of weeks to complete the replacement of the transmission. read more

So, I've purchased 40 vehicles in my life. Yeah, trust me...I know. So, on Black Friday (or Vendredi Noir if you're French) I needed to get a new car. I wanted a manual, because unlike most Americans, I enjoy rowing through gears. I also wanted something turbocharged due to efficiency and power, plus it sounds cool. I also wanted something that was insanely inexpensive. I settled on a 2019 Ford Fiesta ST. Minus all the jokes about paying money for a Fiesta, it's a blast to drive. Thing is like a go-cart with Apple CarPlay. I walked in, met Julie (who's awesome), and told her I wanted to buy the on ST they had. She asked if I wanted to take it on a test drive, but much like my failed marriages, I just sorta wanted to buy it before driving it. I had financing, told her what it was, if they could beat it (they did!), and here's a picture of my bachelor's degree for that $500 new college grad discount. It took two painless hours to buy this car, that's after filling it up, doing finance stuff (who was also awesome by the way), and washing it.
