I recently visited this automotive center for 2 alignments. One on my granddaughters vehicle and one on my truck. I had them do my granddaughter's vehicle first and when I dropped it off I expressed to the lady at the counter that the steering wheel was off center and needed to be centered. They apparently performed the alignment and test drove it, then told me that there was a clicking noise from left axle and new tires were mounted backwards. I picked up vehicle and left my truck for an alignment and also expressed that my steering wheel on my truck was off center as well. As I was driving granddaughters vehicle back to my work I noticed that the steering wheel was still off center! Little while later they informed me that my truck was ready so I went and picked it up. On invoice they put performed alignment and test drove and oil leak and needed belt. Driving back to work and once again the steering wheel is still off center! If you actually test drove both vehicles then they would have noticed that both steering wheels were still off center!! Services were done on a Friday afternoon so had to wait till Monday to contact them. I arrived on following Tuesday with my truck, they pulled truck on alignment rack then off 15 minutes later and actually went on test drive then back on alignment rack and then heard hammering and banging on front end of my truck that last over an hour, then lady at front counter informed me that they newbie that was working on my truck had broken the camber bolt and I should call for a ride because it would take awhile, this was 2 hours after I initially arrived. Went back to work and by 4:15 there was no word on my truck so I called and she said that the new bolts had just arrived and truck wouldn't be done because the new person who took over working on my truck leaves and 4:30. They informed me at 11:30 the following day that truck was ready. Counter lady confirmed last name with no empathy whatsoever and no personality and printed off new invoice that said replaced camber bolt and upper control arm, and now said 1/4" of play in steering and also said "this service was a one time goodwill gesture. No warranty" why didn't initial invoice say play in steering if you actually test drove it? How is it a goodwill gesture if your mechanic broke the bolts? He didn't stop when he noticed rusty bolts and informed customer that they could potentially break and would be more time and labor to repair them if they did break. Drove truck back to work and guess what? Steering wheel still off center! Few days later contacted them about granddaughter's steering wheel still off center and she replies, "repairs are need first" and would be charged again for an alignment. Informed her that tires mounted backwards has no effect on performing a correct alignment and making sure the steering wheel is center and neither does a clicking axle joint and all I get as a response is "repairs are needed". Lady at front counter needs to go to customer relations class because she has none. If review sites would allow -5 scores this place would definately get one! Trust is everything. Especially when it comes to trusting someone to give you good customer service, and the right advice. Neither one of these took place when I entrusted Wilde Automotive to diagnose my situation. Around 5/9/2025 I took my Mazda in to find out why the AC belt broke. I was told it was due to the compressor being locked up, with the repair estimate of around $2,100. Here's the troubling part. I needed the belt replaced for now so as to still be able to drive the car (AC Belt also drives the alternator as well), but was told that the compressor was locked up making this impossible. I was also told that the AC clutch pulley would spin, but due to the compressor needing to cycle on and off occasionally, (even with the electrical plug disconnected) it would destroy the new belt as well. Fast forward to 5/13/2025. A second opinion was obtained from a mechanic who owned his own repair shop for 28 years, will call him "Andy", who told me that I had been misled due to the lack of knowledge from the previous mechanic. Indicating that once the compressor is unplugged from power, the compressor will no longer cycle or function. Needless to say, the new belt is on and functioning properly until I can replace the AC compressor. As customers that bring our vehicles to repair shops in hopes of getting an honest, fair and trustworthy answer concerning the needed repairs, only to be misled and lied to due to lack of experience and/or judgment, will only lead customers to other reputable repair businesses. read more

took my pickup in to Wilde to get repaired , they got it in and fixed it but when I went and picked it up I found that whoever took it on a test drive got oil or something all over my seats, I will have to use a carpet cleaner to get it out! I am actually the one who referred members of my family as clients this business because when she first opened she went by the "karma mechanic" I really appreciated her, her quotes were always high than the actual bill and it was nice to support a family/woman run business it just seems lately the stories I'm hearing she's charging double charge for minor items. it's really sad because I know my ex husband, my great aunt my mother a friend all went to her and were told $350 for a battery then when tube came out on my radiator she said it would be $1200 for a new radiator on a 2003 Lexus this is a back up car so we asked what about wrecking yard parts since our neighbor owns a wrecking yard she said she wouldn't do it and if I had that done she would no longer work on this car ... we are a family with 6 cars alone we have always go to her this one time we wanted a second opinion on a $1200 radiator. We went across the street to North West automotive and right away they gave us a price of $600 so just by crossing the street the price was half of what she quoted. I'm so sad, because I almost felt like this was a bait and switch that when she first opened she was fair and now I'm so sad that even after we showed her where the problem was, she still charged $70 just to look at it and give a quote - my mother said that $70 just lost my mothers business, We weren't strangers we weren't people that she didn't know, and we had every intention on after getting a second opinion if that was the problem of returning the card to her to have it worked on, but I guess all of the money she's earned from us over the years doesn't earn a glance and a quote. Just disappointed because I trusted and talked so good of this mechanic and a time when it's hard to find a mechanic to trust, she has lost mine. EDIT: Jessica I wish you the best but all we asked for was the radiator problem and it's just been a few different issues. I wish you all the best in the future. I was outside in the other car I am the one who brought mom to you. My son had a diagnosis done paid for the services provided and is learning mechanics and wanted to change the part himself. The gal was pretty rude threatened to call the police on him if he changed it on Wilde's property. Not a very classy way to treat someone who did business with you. Also, not very encouraging to our young people who want to learn a trade. We will never go back. read more

I bought a older clk 430 convertable as a fun summer car , i had a buyers inspection done on the vehicle at the mb dealership ,when the inspection came back they had 8000.00 $ worth of repairs listed ,that being said I said no way would i buy this car ,after doing a bit of research on some of the repairs i found that there bids were on the high side,I talked to a friend of mind who is a very capable mechanic and he said he would do alot of the repairs if i bought the parts but he lived on the west side of the state , One day I happened upon Wilde auto repair talked to them about a few major repairs on the car there basic cost was 1/3 of the cost of the dealership and done on the same day ,since my first encounter with wilde auto repair i'v had a few other things done at a reasonable cost,I have also taken my kia in for a oil change, I certainly recommend wilde auto repair for doing great work in a timely manner and a fair price. read more

This place really saved me from a horrible expensive weekend when the fuel pump in our Suburban ran low in fuel pressure. They were able to get me in and diagnosed within an hour or so. Their technician spent extra time making sure he diagnosed the correct part causing our problem. They clearly outlined the estimated charges for repairs and were very fair with the costs involved. They sourced the parts very fast and even after getting the incorrect part the first time, were able to find the correct part and install it all before the end of the day on a Friday saving me rental costs etc.. They even shuttled is back and forth to our hotel which was almost a 30min one way drip. Didn't even complain when I realized we left the hotel key in our car at their shop. Drove us back to get it, dropped up back off the second time and then picked us up before closing so we could get our vehicle the same day. I should note, they even recommended a fantastic restaurant to eat at while we waited. They were fantastic to work with and I would recommend them to anybody in the Spokane area needing automotive repair. read more

Hand a clunking noise in the front end that was getting worse. Saw these guys offered free diagnostic for new customers (you have to print the coupon off from their website). They were courteous and timely. Got the problem diagnosed, provided a good priced estimate, and honored the estimate when I came back for the repair. Honest, didnt try to upsell me on services I didnt want or need. Was a pleasure to do business with. The repair went smoothly and fixed the problem. read more
