Just went through the drive-through around 20 minutes ago. Drive-through is very narrow scraped my rims. I got old fries. This review has come about because this evening, a very rude jerk of a drive-thru employee by the name of Esther decided to yell at my husband, including profanity, undeservingly. He was waiting a while at the speaker and kept checking to see if the speaker worked but nobody would respond, so after a while and after the other vehicles behind him and in front of him had left he decided to pull up to the window to check if its broken or if drive-thru was closed. It was straight unprofessional rudeness from the get go to the point where she told him she had people bitching at her and she doesn't care how it went that he has to go around again to the speaker to place an order and sent him off. My husband kept his cool this whole time even considering that he has had a rough day and hadn't eaten all day and just drove off. Making sure she is reported with corporate and her manager. I would love to give this place zero stars if I could.. it wasn't busy at 6:15 pm on a Monday night stopped on my way home form work... they gave me the wrong order 4 times, the frieds were cold, and we're the worst fries I have ever had anywhere in my life.. the were so over done and there was literally no potato on the inside.. ordered some spicy nuggets as well.. they were cold and they didn't even give me spicy they gave me regular nuggets that were cold and discussing... Arrived at 11:45 pm. WARNING: Before you take a bite of your food inspect it. Ordered the #1 and the burger was raw. Only the outside of the meat light brown. I spit the food out on the second bite. Now I think I have food poisoning. Stomach hurts. Definitely talking with the manager and reporting with the City Health Inspectors. See pictures and see how raw the meet is. I just received the worst customer service of my life at this location. The lady working the window today 8/28 around 1:30 should really not be employed to work around people. She is rude, dismissive, and does not care about her job in the least. It was very apparent. She refused to give me her name or help me with my situation. I was respectful in tone and didn't deserve the treatment I received from her. She even preceded to go to the window behind mine and rile the customer behind me up so that she was calling me a "bitch" out her window. It was the most insane experience!!!! It's a Wendy's, the food is the same as every other Wendy's. They've screwed up our order - fewer items than we asked for, or the completely wrong thing - more than a couple times, but we live nearby and it's convenient. We check in the parking lot before leaving to make sure it's not massively screwed up and even if there are issues, we get over it. Service is usually fast and it's not usually busy. Staff is varying levels of aloof to pleasant. It's fast food standard. However, today we got home and realized my husband's burger was completely wrong, to the point that we went back... we hadn't gotten a receipt so we just hoped for the best... and staff was so accommodating, asked no questions and gave him what he asked for. It took maybe 15 minutes because dinner rush was picking up. No attitude or interrogation or anything. Customer service on point. (Psa... I get it's a Wendy's but come on.) Pulling up at drive thru, female employee handed frosty over and said nothing; closing window immediately after. Sat there for a few minutes, next employee handed over an orange juice and said nothing while staring and weirdly smiling while closing window. Still no communication from either employee. Again, sat there for a few minutes and waited for my food that I assumed they would give me since I had no idea what they were doing. Finally, a few minutes later, food was handed over and still nothing was said. Overall, very weird and rude experience. This happened at 6:15pm. Really bad service!!! The restaurant is dead and they try to give you a hard time just on ordering on the drive thru. I speak pretty loud and the guy on the drive thru thinks I work here. I asked for the new Loaded nacho cheese burger and he asked me what number. I cannot say how relieved I am. I've called every Wendy's in Austin to ask a simple yes or no question. This is the first Wendy's that answered the phone, that was nice and gave great attitude and answered my question. All the other locations either did not answer, or would answer and hang up on me. Just doing this simple task for me has now told me exactly which Wendy's I will eat at. I will never be eating at another Wendy's in this city.
