I hope I've got the right spot--this Wendy's is located at 4371 Meridian St, Bellingham, WA 98226. I stopped by the drive-thru a few days ago for dinner, and honestly, I wasn't expecting much since most fast food places don't impress me. But I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the Asiago Ranch Chicken Club combo meal, and it was fantastic. The bun was fresh, the chicken was juicy and crispy, and the lettuce, tomato, and cheese were all top-notch. The fries and Coke Zero were great too. The girl at the window was super friendly--sorry, I didn't catch her name, but she had a blue stripe in her ponytail. I had a horrible experience with a door dash order that I picked up. Apparently they have a new policy that door dash pick ups cannot be done through the drive through and I waited in the drive through for 10 minutes before getting to the window all for a snarky worker to tell me that I needed to come inside for the order. I had my sleeping baby in the car and other daughter as well. I asked if they could just please hand me the order so I could avoid waking her and coming in. She told me no and sent me inside. I pulled to a spot woke my baby up and walked inside where my order was finished on the counter not even three feet away from the employee who refused to give me my order. It would've been so simple to just hand me my order. Then I couldn't even balance the food since I had my sleeping baby on me and my drink fell in the parking lot. So overall just a really bad experience for food that wasn't even close to good. The fries were cold and soggy and the sandwich was decent but that was due to my extra add on requests. read more

Apparent new manager has terrible customer service and talks down to customers. As we pull up to the window we witness extraordinarily unsanitary behavior: grabbing frosty cups and lids from the inside after tapping the computer screen and scratching her bare stomach as well as wiping her hands across her uniform. This review is primarily based upon their newly unveiled breakfast options. Now I understand that what you see in advertisements is allowed to be wildly different from what they actually serve (for some reason) but what I got when I order the sausage and egg on a biscuit was unforgivable. It looked unappetizing and once I bit into it I got a few eggshells. What if a young child had received this and choked? The sausage tasted dry and bizarre and I tossed the sandwich after only that one bite as I couldn't possibly eat anymore. Breakfast is a highly lucrative and competitive market and if this is this franchises attempt to get in on the action then they have a long way to go. read more

One line review: Typical fast food with great customer service. We were a big party with kids -- two elementary kids, an infant, and five adults. That's a lot to deal with ordering, getting food up at near the same time, accommodating all of those guests, some of us messier than average. But our cashier/server handled is with patience, good humor, and a smile. And that made all of the difference. It turned what might have been a mediocre visit (the food was pretty average) into a very pleasant one. Wish I had gotten his name so I could honor him here, but he was great. This location has one of those fancy soda machine that can deliver hundreds of combinations of flavors of soda -- fun! And they even had a television with ESPN playing. These touches made it an above average experience. Value was excellent with their 4 for $4 deal and items like chili (relatively inexpensive, healthy, and hearty for fast food). Fed 8 for $34, and could have gone even lower. Parking was free and abundant in their lot. Bottom line: I like this location and would gladly return. Well done! read more

I have been too Wendy's multiple times now, and each time it has disappointed me. First off, they always get your order wrong. Once, I asked for the chicken burger, plain, and a side of fries and I got a spicy chicken burger with mayo, and hardly any fries in the tiny bag. I would not expect a big fast-food franchise to get my order this wrong. I asked for the chicken burger a couple of times after that, and each time it had always come with mayo. Come on Wendy's! Get your workers in place! The service is pretty slow and sloppy. I have had to wait over ten minutes in the Drive-Thru! they are supposed to be fast, but disappointed there majorly. Sometimes I go in, and wait super long because they are "busy" with five other people in the whole building and two cars in the Drive-Thru. There waiters and waitresses are very rude. They always take my order with an attitude, and breeze by without asking anything, which comes in pretty inconvenient when you still have not gotten your order taken. They always sever me my food sloppily, the food basket is a mess, and condiments that are unwanted are all over. Overall their service is sloppy, and their hospitality is not good. They are very un-professional and left me with a bad taste in my mouth. With all of that said, I do not recommend Wendy's, and will not be returning soon. read more

I don't always leaving a rating but I feel like this needs to be said. I get the homeless problem is bad in WA, and I get people don't often want to help out. But don't be rude. When I was at this location. I witnessed a homeless man that I guess was a regular just trying to order food and the person taking his order whom I don't recall his name but just gave him the "I don't care" attitude until I stepped up. The respect I lost for the man even though he took my order. And not even that but this guy, I don't recall his name also dropping fries and then picking them up with his bare hands. BARE hands. Hands down, this is one of the worst fast food places in Whatcom County. After extremely slow service our order is NEVER right, the burgers are reheated 'things' that are seriously dried out, the service is anything but friendly, actually quite rude if you have a problem with how bad this place is (wrong order, cold food, if they are out of food etc.) We went here for the first time in a couple of years because my husband wanted to go for some reason, getting some chili was my consolation for agreeing to do and they didn't have any chili!!! NOT to mention my order was not correct and tasted like yesterday's leftovers. French fries were okay. I thought about making a yelp account for awhile now just to review this place. For fast food, their restaurant is great. The food is always fresh, fast, and the employees very friendly. I've gone out of my way to go here before. So I did decid to make this account today just to review it. But for another reason. I ordered in today instead of drive-thu, and the man behind the counter was the rudest most miserable person I've ever had to order from. He said everything he's trained to say to a customer, but he's nasty about it. He didn't grab my card out of my hand, he pulled like he was impatient. He threw my receipt on the counter. He rushed me off. Whatever. But then he continued to treat customers ordering food that way. All he had to offer was short, annoyed and angry responses. It was so uncomfortable to even stand there waiting for my food. When it was ready, he dropped it on the counter and walked away. I asked can I have some ketchup please, and he rolled his eyes and gave an attitude like it was such an inconsiderate thing to request. I said thank you. Then I watch him go to the next customer, an apparent regular, and made a sound and sideways look out of his eye at me like he just hated me for coming in. I know customer service. I did it for 5 years. I was a polite customer who just wanted to order some good food and left with the worst taste in my mouth. Never coming back. read more
