I'm a little surprised by all the negative reviews. I love this Wendy's!! I go to the drive thru here somewhat frequently and they are always nice and give great customer service. I've never had to wait an unreasonable amount of time whether there's a line of cars or not. I usually go later at night which is typically the worst time for service/food at fast food places, but not here! The food is always good. If my bag is missing something it's usually small like croutons and they're always happy to give me whatever it is, or extras of anything if I ask. read more

The for is just ok... It's Wendy's, it's fast food, but they rarely get the orders right. Today I got the taco salad. .. this is not a taco salad. Yes, it's lettuce, tomatoes and cheese, but topping it with chili, salsa, chips and sour cream does not make it a taco salad. It tasted like a chili salad. I would not order that again. This wendys is always super busy, the line is always long but once your at the window they get the food out ASAP. I don't know why but every single time I come here my order is either missing items or I am giving other peoples food. This might be the worst Wendy's in all of Northern California. All the previous reviews that mention a 20-30 minute drive thru wait time are correct. I've dealt with it a number of times so this time I decided to go inside to see if the experience was any different. NOPE! It might be even worse. The cashier took about 5 orders in a row and threw all the receipts in a pile on the counter instead of handing them to customers so no one knew which order number they were waiting for. Orders were coming out and no one knew which one was there's. Most of them ended up being cold or wrong and every single customer inside was upset and complaining. Long story short, it took 25 minutes to get a $4 meal that was cold. They acknowledged they sucked by offering me a free sugar cookie. This place would be better off out of business. You're tying the Wendy's brand with this location. read more

Something terrible has happened at this Wendy's. Used to be the fastest place to get a quick meal around. Yesterday I spent 25 minutes trapped in the drive thru. Same thing happened to my daughter last week. When I finally got to the pickup window, all the drinks for the orders behind me were sitting in the window melting while they were standing around waiting for food from the line. How about someone go back and help whoever is struggling. It's too bad because they have decent food but, who wants to wait in that line? read more

Wendy's is the only fast food restaurant in the sunrise mall area that has decent food. I go at night and the food is always fresh and tasty. All the surrounding fast foods are gross and taste old but this Wendy's in particular seems very on top of it and the food has always been good. read more

I ordered a double bacon mozzarella, no onion or bacon and got exactly what I ordered (: I had to explain twice that didn't want a combo, just the sandwich but otherwise I was extremely satisfied and was out in no time. You need to beware when you attempt to go to the Wendy's near Greenback and Sunrise in Citrus Heights. I had two bad instances recently, starting two weeks ago when I went through the drive-thru, ordered my food and the person at the window asked if I could park out front & they would bring it out to me. 25 minutes later, no order, so I walked into the restaurant, asked for a manager, and the manager came from her office. I explained that it was 25 minutes and still hasn't gotten my order. The manager apologized, saying the crew got hit with a$50 order. She knew this while being in the office. She got my order together, apologized again, and I lead off with that to explain my second instance. Last night I went to Wendy's about 7:30 pm, there were a few cars in the drive-thru, and I got in line as well. The line moved one car every 5 minutes, and a half hour later I got to place my order. It was another 5 minutes before I got to the window. The server apologized and said it was his first night. I asked for a manager, and a young girl named Ana came to the window. I explained to her I was waiting 35 minutes, she apologized and said they were shorthanded, and she couldn't get ahold of the manager. On top of this, when I left, there were no napkins and no receipt. I say.. Beware if you go there. read more

For the sake of transparency I must say I have mostly visited this place between 9pm and when it closes (1:00am drive through). I have only used the drive through, and I have been here less than 10 times, but they were all in the last two years, and the most recent was tonight (09/06/17). Lastly, and most importantly this posting reflects tonight's specific visit. Begin rant: Most of the food was great, the french fries were straight up shit. They were hella hard, dry, stubby, and just warm. I seriously think they were just the bottom basket left overs from a few batches that they threw together to play some kind of Shitty French Fry Roulette as a way to entertain employees, and maximize the value of their goods by selling undesirable product. I can only speculate, but when the french fry box is that shitty, and they didn't even bother to pack the box, I can only speculate as to why. If I am correct in my speculation, then they will know exactly who got the Shitty French Fries, and they would be able to place my face to this order. So to recap, the food is generally good, the service is generally ok, but tonight I won the Shitty French Fry Roulette game, and I am not happy. Just take the loss on the shitty fries, toss them, eat them, but don't serve/sell the fries. read more

This is a poorly run Wendy's. The person taking our order was laughing as soon as the asked to take our order and the employees continued to just have their personal conversations about "going out after work on Friday". We could hear them arguing about the food going in bags and after they had already handed us our bags they asked for a bag back because they knew they forgot something we had ordered. They continued arguing and then finally gave us all of the food we had ordered. Extremely unprofessional and rude especially during a busy time with 4+ cars in line. read more
