Rarely go here because you can always expect to wait a long time in the drive through. This past week, spent about 40 minutes in the drive through. Ordered a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, small fries, and large iced tea. I was not paying attention when they told me the bill totalled a little over $9.00 - the large iced tea charge was $3.49 when the burger was a dollar less. They had run out of ketchup, the fries were not fresh, and the price for the iced tea was just outrageous. I would have cancelled my drink, at least, but just wasn't paying attention. I could have gone to In-N-Out and purchased 2 burger combos (drinks and fries, included) and had a better meal. Sorry Wendy's, will be going elsewhere. read more

This place has had customer service issues for a while. There have been multiple times I've come to this location, been blatantly seen by multiple employees while being the only person waiting in line to order, and haven't received so much as a "Hi" or "Someone will be with you in a moment." Every time I've used the restroom, the paper towels to dry your hands with have been out of stock - every time. When I've made complaints to the management or employees, I get a "thanks for your feedback" but nothing changes. Food is okay - it is a fast food place, you get what you pay for. The best thing this place has going for it is its new aesthetic from its recent remodel, but the new dining room layout is a bit awkward. read more

Horrible service when I stopped here today. None of the orders were coming out right. They had a shortage of fries but no one working would put any more down to complete orders. I had a home style chicken sandwich but they gave me one off the .99 menu. After waiting over 20 minutes I didn't even bother to tell them they screwed it up. I just ate the food quickly and left. Before doing so I used the men's restrooms but it was so slippery and wet from someone cleaning that I needed ice skates to keep from falling. Okay, Here it goes! I can not recommend this location! They advertise that they have the new Coke Freestyle machine! They do but they only stock a minimum selection of flavors! I have voiced my disappointment to the manager in the past, and I see that went nowhere! We went there tonight and found that nothing had changed and that probably 80% of the flavors were out or not stocked! Next came the issue with our order! We placed an order for 3 people! We ordered 2 small chili's to go with our order. The young man that took the order acted like we were a nuisance because he had to come out from the back to take the order! When we got the order our chili wasn't in the bag! My wife told him and his first response was we didn't order them! Then he check the monitor and saw his error! So, no apology or anything! Our trip to Wendy's #9406 (7983 Greenback Ln., Citrus Heights) was the worst fast-food restaurant experience ever. The restaurant was dirty, tables were sticky, and the garbage was overflowing out of the cans. The soda machine was leaking water all over the floor and all the staff did was put a mat in front of the machine with a sign that said "wet floor" the amount of water on the floors made them slippery and dangerous. The amount of trays and empty food containers on the tables was disgusting, and the uncleanliness of the bathroom all made for a very unpleasant experience. I will never visit another Wendy's or recommend the restaurant to family or friends. read more

Consistently great quality, hot fries, and the employees here are happy and quite courteous. A great burger competitor if you ask me. I wish they had more than one soft drink dispensar, and wish the employees spent more time in the dining area, helping to clean up from time to time as most of the tables here are dirty with each visit. read more

I wish i could give them no stars. I am a manager at a local restaurant. I come here atleast once or twice a month since ive moved here. Tonight my experience was horrible. I ordered through the drive thru around 9:50 pm. When i got my food, right as i put it close to my face all i could smell was spoiled food. I took a bite anyways and sure enough it tastes just as it smells. As i work in customer service and understand how frustrating it can be to give refunds i was as polite as possible. the manager who came to asist me was SO unprofessional and rude. She told me it couldnt be rotten because she just made it... and told me id have to wait for it to be remade. I told her i didnt want it remade because i was a littpe grossed out by the smell of it. She got very hostile and said id have to call the store manager for a refund. She then asked "do you want to give me the food back?" And i said yes but i want my refund. She grabbed the food out of my hands very aggressively and snatched the soda and came back with the refund. Slapped it into my hand and said here you go and turned immediately away. Absolutely fantastic customer service from Jameesha, one of the managers working on Friday night, April 26. We placed an order through DoorDash, but when it arrived it was completely wrong. Not even the correct credit card information. The DoorDash delivery driver, who barely spoke English, refused to correct the situation, so I called Wendy's and spoke with the manager, Jameesha. She apologized for what happened, asked me to give her a few minutes to speak with DoorDash customer service, and said she would call me back by 7:00pm. Not only did she call me back before 7:00pm, but she refunded my money AND had the correct order expedited and delivered to my house within half an hour. Excellent customer service!! She never tried to put it back on me, she was pleasant and genuine, and had a great attitude. She is exactly the kind of employee who needs to be recognized, appreciated, and commended. read more

This location use to be a great restaurant with great food and a friendly, efficient staff. Not so much anymore. They've gotten my order wrong every time the last four visits through their drive thru window! The last three times I even asked the cashier when I paid at the window to double check if my sandwich was plain and each time they assured me, yes, it was plain. Then I get home and find it has everything on it. The don't care if it's right, they just want to collect your money and get you out of there. I've called before to report the mistake and without much enthusiasm or remorse, they have offered me free food on my next visit. Tonight, when I called to speak to the manager, as soon as I started to explain the problem she hung up on me. I don't really expect an improvement in the future judging by the other reviews on here. this one has really gone down hill... I was in the drive thru for almost 20 minutes before I was allowed to order at the speaker box... took an additional 15 to get my food... I am not exaggerating, i was watching the clock... we left the book store shortly after 8 and didn't get out of the drive thru until almost 8:40...
