Left his Wendy's about an hour ago. The guy in the drive-through tried to be slick and steal money from us. I'm glad they have cameras because I will be on the phone with corporate. We ordered four Cinna buns and a large frosty. He charges $21 my brother was in the backseat intoxicated. I was the driver so out the back window. He handed him 2 10s and a one I watched the boy put the $10 on the register and then slide into his pocket and tell him your $10 short so my brother handed him $20 so now at this point you've gotten $41 from us for 4 Cinna buns. And a frosty so at the next window, I proceeded to tell that boy that Somthing's not right and they're all laughing about it went to another Wendy's. The meal came up to about seven dollars. Well I usually don't come to this Wendy's because my food is either cold or it's something missing. On today I really wanted a Cobb salad from Wendy's because they are actually good. I had my mouth set on this salad and then boomI add my ranch and the croutons and start mixing my food and took one bite. I looked down to see a piece of straight hair in my salad . I travel down I-20 with young people headed to and from Rock Eagle many times a year. Exit 93 is always where we stop going there and coming back. Wendy's is always a favorite for the kids! All I had heard about this weekend was about a new burger at Wendy's that they "HAD" to try on our way home! They were very crowded when we arrived but, for the time of day it was expected. Over the past few years we have aloud more time to stop for fast food because of the lack of employees and callouts at so many restaurants. What we weren't prepared for was kiosk only. They young people and I only had cash. I explained to them how much they wanted that new burger and was there anything that they could do to work it out. They jumped in and made IT HAPPEN! The service, food, and cleanness were all wonderful and the fries were "ON POINT "!!!! The manger and I think the GM (whom were both cooking and serving) were praising their employees for working so hard! That is not heard of much anymore. Crazy Day!!!! Headed toward Atlanta on I-20 the Saturday after Helene. Electricity out in many places. Long lines for gas at the stations that were open. Dropped by Wendy's for a bite only to find that doors were locked and only taking orders thru drive-through. With our camper that was not an option so we tried to walk-up. The manager came out apologizing profusely about short staff condition and brought us into the restaurant to order when saw our dilemma. Could not have been any nicer! I ordered a Dave's single with extra pickles and a large fry and my boyfriend got a 20 piece nugget with a large fry, the fry's were fresh but my burger didn't have extra pickles and the burger itself was pink and they only put mayonnaise on it and the mayonnaise had clumps in it and I didn't eat it threw it in the trash. This week, I visited Wendy's on Hwy. 142 in Covington, Ga. twice. I usually try not to go to Wendy's anymore because of the extremely long lines in the drive thru. But, that wasn't the case this week, so there's that. Unfortunately, I encountered a young lady who is in desperate need of customer service skills, or perhaps she should not be dealing with customers. When my now grown daughters were in high school, they worked at Wendy's. I was so happy that the managers and assistant managers took the time to school the workers, who were usually teenagers, on how to politely deal with the public. Those days seem to be gone. This young lady, who didn't look like a teenager, was just downright rude. I would never be allowed to speak to anyone with disrespect in the course of doing my job. When a customer asks for an extra condiment, extra napkins, or something that is not included, the person representing the company should never behave as if they've been asked for something they have personally provided. The napkins belong to Wendy's - not you! Talking rudely to a customer is NEVER acceptable, especially over things that aren't your personal property. I've experienced some workers at Wendy's who didn't have common manners, ie, greeting a customer, thanking a customer, etc. But, this young lady went so far as to tell me what I couldn't have: "We can't give you that!" And, emphasizing "You want MORE napkins?" when I asked for extras. Please Wendy's, make customer service a priority. These two experiences this week have made me want to skip Wendys altogether! read more

I gave them a 1 only because 0 was not an option. I've been here several times and have given them the benefit of the doubt that the first two were off days. Well today's visit capped it off for me. A disrespectful and clearly unhappy employee running the drive through window, a 15 minute wait in the drive thru, a messed up order, and again an employee with an attitude.
