Came across this place on IG when an influencer posted it. I've become skeptical of influencer recommendations, but my bf and I decided to give it a try. It was a DRIVE, but very worth it! Inside was very nostalgic of old restaurants from my childhood in South Carolina. It feels like you're stepping back in time, but in an authentic way. The gentleman taking orders could tell we were new to the restaurant and was both helpful and patient with us. We ended up choosing a Philly with bacon, buffalo chicken Philly, and chili cheese dog. Everything was delicious. I wish the chicken on the Philly would have been more crispy, but they make their sauce in house and it was delicious. I was very surprised at how soft the bread was and that it still held up all the toppings. The friends were great and old fashioned. The star of the show might have been the chili cheese dog. When I saw it, I thought we made a mistake. It looked a mess for real. But it was a mess in the best way. It surprised us both and was so tasty. They use slice cheese and a thick chili. I'm kinda glad this is far because I'd be here all the time. We definitely plan to go back and try more menu items. read more

My dad been telling me about how good the wings are and he finally brought me today and i must say, he was NOT lying. We took our work crew so we were a good size party but even then, the wait wasn't that long. I ordered the medium hot (i wasn't trying to eat spicy on work hours) but next time, i will definitely order hotter, medium was not hot at allllllll. They were crusty and gosh, tasted so good. My husband and I went here yesterday, 11-8, after seeing a video review on FB about this restaurant. I had unknowingly passed it a few times. It's a country town restaurant with a country homey feel! A lil whole in the wall if you will! They were busy too! That's a good sign. I ordered the lemon pepper wings and honey garlic (5 each) combo. I will say they weren't buss'n like I expected, but they weren't horrible either. They needed to be a lil more crispy..which I did ask for crispy. I guess I should've asked for extra crispy. The honey garlic had a really good taste, and the lemon pepper were just ehhh. My husband had the Philly cheesesteak (which is what the girl that did the video reviewed) and it was BUSS'N!! I wish I would've gotten something that she reviewed. Next time I will! The fries were just fries, not anything exciting about those. I MUST include that I was impressed by their display of their faith. They have a section that has bibles and a board with bible verses and an inspirational message! That's something that I've never seen before in ANY restaurant! Very impressive! Go try this "country dountry" place for yourself. You won't be disappointed! read more

Stayed at the hotel next door. Needed somewhere to eat. Not too much going on around here so we tried it. Got a recommendation from the gas station. They were right. The food was great. Had a Philly cheese steak and it was delicious. Steaks made to order and cooked well. The woman at the register nice and helpful. Even gave me a free tea because I asked about. She handed me a cup of I asked how much and she said I got it! We got back to the hotel and went in. It's a Little hole in the wall, which I find wheee you get some of the best food. All the staff were nice and welcoming. I'm only staying for a night but would have totally came back the next day to try something else. read more

Entered during typical semi busy lunch service. Ordered basic lunch meal. Took 40 minutes for 10 wings. Rude shirt man at register made multiple comments after I approached about order. He and an obese shirt lady in glasses continued to make comments about me inquiring about my meal that was still not ready. Called me rude stating people just don't understand they have to wait. Keep in mind all I did was approach the counter after forty minutes to inquire about the order. I never responded to his and her very rude unprofessional comments right in front of me. I've been eating at Little Phillies since the late 90's. Love their Mushroom CheeseSteak and their wings. It's all made homemade and fresh daily! They slice their own meat every day. They have a wide variety of homemade wing sauces as well. This is a family owned restaurant. The owner is of Italian decent from Chicago. They have a huge variety on the menu. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but I was expecting better food. My honey garlic wings had a great sauce, but were fried terribly hard. The cheesesteak was okay, along with the onion rings, and the customer service was subpar. I wouldn't recommend anyone to come here, but I wouldn't stop them either. Honestly, it was Little Phillies Wing description of "Stupid Hot" that intrigued me. I guess my aging taste buds are constantly seeking more spice. Holy crap. Life changing Philly in a tiny little run down strip center near Covington, GA. I called ahead and their service was excellent. I ordered the large sandwich and medium fries. Fries are run of the mill crinkle fries but good and hot. The Philly was truly exceptional and I barely got through half of the large sandwich. Great find off the chain restaurant path.
