Ok I normally don't do fast food reviews but... coming back from Gettysburg we stopped in at Wendy's before taking the long drive back to Philadelphia. We stopped in Wendy's all over the US and even England. Was this the best? No but it was clean and well kept the service was great and very friendly. This Wendy's is a must ignore. Me and my girlfriend walked in and wanted just some sandwiches and a small frosty. When we entered, only what I could've assumed to be a manager of sorts, doesn't greet us but tells us to "wait up front and someone will be up" while he's munching on food himself and on his phone. He gave us our food for free which was nice but he kinda harshly put down the frosty on the counter, my double stack was salty AF and my girlfriend's had no ketchup, no onions and the lettuce was just tossed everywhere. Hearing how he spoke to other people was annoying too and I got secondhand embarrassment since I used to work at Wendy's. The only nice thing was the cold and unmelted frosty and the nice, cool inside since it was a blazing hot day today. Wouldn't come here again. read more

I normally like Wendy's fries and chicken nuggets but I haven't been to this one in a while. I think the last time I went was the Wednesday Addams mystery sauce promo but the fries and nuggets tasted stale. Maybe overcooked? But tasted awful. I tried again tonight thinking it was a one off but still same thing. Perhaps you need to change your oil you cook them in? Not good and don't think I'd eat there again. Can't believe what that girl with the blue headband or net tried to do. On Friday September 05 ,2025 around 9:40PM ordered at their drive thru 3 burgers 3 nuggets and fries. They told us to wait by the door because they were backed up with other orders. After 10min that girl came out with the order When I got it, Felt too light and even before I asked She started saying "That's it That's it and ran back in. When I opened it there were missing 2 Baconators. Went inside and tried to figure out showing my receipt to that Girl said she gave me wrong receipt. IS SHE DUMB? If I open my credit card app I can show exact same amount charged. (Low IQ? ) 2 Baconators seating inside where they keep french fries She gave me "my burgers" while staring at me like I was asking for free... Maybe just she forgot to put those in the bag but she was so amateur trying to say I got the wrong receipt or they just want to resell it? I don't know Hopefully Management or Owner read this and correct their employees behaviors. I see most of their reviews are Negative. As I said before I like Wendys in general. The situation at Wendys Dillsbrg has not changed. If anyrhing it has gotten worse. The ice function in the soft drink dispenser has not workrd for at least 2 weeks. The cashier was clearly unfamilier with the cash register.. Needs new management. Orders are always wrong, odd salads served. Today no egg on an egg/sausage/croissant. Below... my salad from a few months ago. Lettuce with a huge luke-warm chonk of chicken on top. (Should be chopped and fresh) I don't recommend this Wendy's to anyone. I'm in the drive through as I sit here with plenty of time to write this. The line hasn't moved in 15 minutes. No one's order could possibly take that long. Every time I have to come here (for family members) the service takes forever. Clearly management needs to get their act together. No other fast food chain within 20 miles of Dillsburg is consistently this slow. It's become a game now to see how long it takes, and how badly they'll mess up the order. We take bets on how many items will be wrong, since it's at least 40% of the order will be incorrect. We try every month or so, hoping it'll improve. We're still waiting. You're lucky we have one loyal fan that insists we keep trying. Edit: after 35 minutes, having serviced 10 Vehicles, we finally got our order. Only four things wrong total so I lost, I thought there would be more. read more

My wife stopped by this Wendy's to pick up some grub on the way home from York - what's not to love about Wendy's right? Unfortunately, every item we ordered was messed up. One kids cheeseburger, with only cheese? That had ketchup, mustard, and pickles on it. A chicken sandwich with no pickles? Pickles. I'm a Wendy's lover, and normally I'd just shrug it off and move on, but since having kids, it really matters that the orders are accurate (because picky eaters revolt and you can't exactly pick the mustard off of a cheeseburger when it's soaked into the bun). I like Wendy's chili and baked potatoes. They are always good here when I've gone. Burgers are fresh as well. Service can be spotty due to lack of employees. A constant has been an employee, Lorie. She had been there for years. She is always smiling and welcoming no matter how awful it must be when understaffed. I hope they pay extra to loyal employees the pay they aren't paying to those who don't show. read more

Generally I don't post bad reviews however this time the experience needs to be noted. There's no such thing as fast food in this Wendy's. The process from ordering a simple combo off the menu to the extremely long wait was unbearable. The process for take out when I was the 3rd person in line took 22 minutes. By the time I left the line was out the door. Ill managed, dirty and poorly trained staff. Save yourself the trouble and pass up this option for another if your in the mood for FAST food. read more

Stopped here on our trip to the Poconas... and while the employee taking the orders was friendly the order was not correct. -_- Simple enough, spicy chicken sandwich meal; add red onion and no tomato with apple slices and a lemonade. Another spicy chicken sandwich, add red onion no mayo with a limeade. When we received our drinks they were identical so I asked if one was limeade and the employee took the lemonade back and added some limeade concentrate to it? She couldn't even bother to mix it for me... it was terrible... don't get the limeade. I cannot believe what happened tonight. I went through the drive-through and order $35 worth of food. I asked the manager if my order was complete when he handed me the bag and he assured me it was. Upon driving away we looked in the bag and realized three sandwiches were missing. I tried to go in but it was locked at 10 o'clock. I had to sit through the drive-through for another 30 minutes. Upon getting to the speaker I told him my order was missing sandwiches. He told me that I was being rude and he would have to ask me to leave. I said not until I get the sandwiches that I paid for. I just walked in with my family and there was a kid vaping at the counter and the the whole restaurant smelled from the vaping! When the girl at the counter saw the look on my face she quickly said to the kid vamping - what are you doing, you can't vape inside and it's getting all over the food. I said are you kidding me - you are allowing people to smoke inside a restaurant and then we turned to walk out. As we were walking out - she said to the kid...see we are losing customers because you are vaping. Seriously the grossest, most dirty, nastiest fast food restaurant I have ever walked into. Trash was all over the restaurant, food was all over the floor in the food prep area, and the friers looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a week! The bathrooms were like third world country quality as well. I had to steady myself against the overwhelming smell of urine. There was trash all over the floor (like gross "personal" trash) and there was no toilet paper or paper towels. We also had to hold the stall doors closed, as the latches were broken. If I could give zero stars, I would. First, your app is awful, it won't let you use a coupon and pay the rest on your credit card. Since we couldn't do that on the app, we went in and stood there for a while until someone finally came up. This guy comes up and says "what do you want" in a rude tone. So, naturally, we were annoyed by that because it's your job, so do it. Then, we ordered and he put the wrong order on, making the total more than what it was supposed to be. After we ordered, he didn't even ask if we wanted the receipt, he just walked away so we had to take the receipt ourself. We didn't see that the order was wrong until after he left, though, because he didn't give us the receipt. Then, we waited to see what he would give us, the full meal, or just the sandwich which we ordered. He did not give us the full meal which we paid for because we ordered just the sandwich and he charged us for the whole meal, so we said something to him and instead of just giving us a refund, he goes "i'll give you a free sandwich", which really wasn't free because we paid for it and $1.71 more. We agreed because we thought he said two sandwiches, because he was so quiet we could barely hear him. He comes out and gives us one, so we walked away because it was only $1.71 we lost, but this guy was just a jerk, so we wanted our money back. We asked for a full refund and he refused and said "that's against policy." Giving someone a refund for your mistake and a loss of money is not "against policy." He ended up giving us another sandwich instead of want we wanted and was calling the sandwiches free even though we paid for all of it. They were short staffed when we visited, but still plenty polite, and apologized for the wait. Considering the drive thru line, I thought they were moving pretty well. There was a very rude man who screamed and cursed at the manager for not getting his burgers fast enough, even though I would estimate he waited less than five minutes. The manager remained polite, apologized for the wait, explaining about the drive thru line as well as the counter line. The man was still rude, even when he received his food, and I am incredibly impressed with how the manager handled this situation. It was incredibly difficult to watch it occur, and I can only imagine how it felt to be involved, but I applaud the staff for their efforts on a busy Saturday evening. read more

Ordered two 4 for $4 meals. The nuggets were overcooked and the burger meat on my Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger had been on the grill too long, it was dry and burned. The manager on duty was oblivious to the mini rush and to an elderly customer who waited 5 minutes to be assisted because the chili he ordered was cold. The young lady running register was expediting and running the register. The manager was focused on setting up the second burger condiment area and oblivious to the needs of the front line. read more

I think both the chicken and fries were cooked in oil that should of been changed days ago. The picture of the chicken makes the chicken look bigger than the bun.
