The food was fine and it always is, it's a Wendy's so it's not like I'm expecting anything different however the service is a completely other story, when I entered the store today to get myself some food, I observed the elderly woman at the counter ignore me for over 5 minutes as she continuously shouted in the back. After we locked eyes with each other she proceeded to just walk away and I was forced to use the kiosk. Now normally I don't have a problem with ordering on the kiosks but if I'm standing at the counter wanting my order to be taken there then I kinda expect my order to be taken there especially if there's hardly any traffic running through the building. read more

EXTREMELY rude female employee whose attitude is way out of check for a middle aged woman working at Wendy's. my friend tried to get a free mini frosty with her key chain and was rudely told she had to make a purchase, since we were sharing the food i had purchased she'd assumed it would be ok. So I went and got my wallet from the car and used my key chain to get a frosty for her. i was met with more attitude along with a dramatic eye roll. Ordered Wendy's here in Eagle today. Bad idea. My wife Ordered the chicken biscuit. Dry and worthless. My Cinnabon was horrible and dry. I can't believe Cinnabon allows this to happen. Just an fyi. A woman employee who said she was the manager was so rude to my husband that we will never go back to this location again. She loudly yelled at my husband because he didn't want to use the kiosk. We are senior citizens in our 80s and have trouble using these devices. Another customer who was at the counter saw our bewildered expression and said he had just been through the exact same situation with her. After his meal my husband went to the counter and ordered desert. She proceeded to yell at him again and told him not to put his money on the counter to bring it directly to her, which he did. I got made fun of for the way my voice sounds over the intercom by a worker. I got told my total price after ordering, I said thank you. Immediately heard over the intercom the worker that took my order start making fun of me. Tried to let the manager know " hey be sure to remind your workers to mute their headsets if they are gonna make fun of someone". I told the manager what happened, and I didn't even get a sorry. I don't want even a refund but a sorry I'll talk to them would have been nice. All I got was an "ok I'll let them know". This Wendy's location is the worst location I have been to. I have been there 5 times and 4 of the 5 times there was an issue. Visits: 1: went with the kids and dined in. A little slow to get the order, but the order was accurate and food was a good representation of Wendy's. The dining room was clean. No real issues on this visit. 2: Before COVID-19 was a thing, they closed early with the workers spending time by the dumpster smoking. Honor your hours or change them to hours you can keep. 3: Placed an order at the drive thru proceeded to pick up my food. They were busy and told her to pull through. They didn't get my order right so I told them and had to wait 10 minutes for then to get the right order out. 4: Ordered via mobile app and paid. When I arrived to pick up the food at the drive thru, The voice over the speaker said they couldn't take orders. When I explained I already placed an order and paid, she said they can't do it and to try back in an hour. Not convenient, and not waiting over an hour for this food 5. Tried to place an online order, but kept getting an error. I figured I'd order the old fashioned way at the speaker. I placed the order and I had a free large fry so I added that to the order. When I got to the window, the free fry wouldn't display after multiple times trying so I removed it from the order. I ordered 2 chocolate frosty, but "the machine just broke" so I got vanilla. I paid and then was told it would take some time for my order and to pull around. No big deal, so I did. By the time I got to the parking spot the food came within 20 seconds. I drove home only to find that they completely forgot a whole order for one of my kids. I drove back and told them what they forgot. It came out fairly quick, but by the time I got home everyone else's food was cold and with gas prices, I probably broke even going back and forth. I don't know that I will ever go here again. It's fairly close and there's not many options when it comes to fast food nearby. I would not recommend this location. read more

There was a blonde older lady taking our order through the drive through and she was short, impatient and mean. I came through with a group of friends and we were all trying to order and asked for a second to look at the menu. She was short with us and didn't even let us finish ordering. We just continued through the line and she through our bag at us and was very short. As we were driving off she made a face at us and laughing mockingly. I felt so disrespected as a customer but more as a human being. I work in customer service and under bad days and impatience but this was beyond that. I went through the drive thru and the lady was so mean and caused me to have a panic attack. I had my younger brother in the passenger seat, and he has severe Down syndrome. The lady was super impatient and she was yelling at me to order faster. Then my brother yelled "CHICKEN NUGGET I LOVE CHICKEN NUGGET SO HAPPY!" And proceeded to take his pants off and attempt to run out the car. I was struggling very hard, and the drive thru lady kept being meaner. I was on the brink of tears, and when we got to the window she threw the frosty at my face and squirted mustard on us. They are not doing their best during Covid times as Yelp suggests. They just plain suck at their job. That simple. Went here for breakfast for the first time and took a minute or two for our party of six to decide what to order in the drive through. Employee prompted 4 or 5 times asking what we wanted to order. After explaining our situation, she just asks again what we would like to order, obviously annoyed we were taking longer than she expected. Mind you, there are no cars in front or behind us (a sign that I should have kept driving and never stopped in to begin with). After ordering, instead of a typical drive through response of 'your order will be ready at window x' or 'your total will be $$.$$', we get the command to pull up to the 2nd window. Greeted by a large middle aged woman with a scowl and an explanation that she can be "physically (as opposed to mentally??) written up for how long people to take to order in the drive through", the experienced continued. Not a thank you or have a nice day, just a another command to pull around to the front so they can get a better time score on their drive through even though I'm waiting another 10 mins in the parking lot for our food. I've been eating Wendys for 35 years and always enjoyed their Classic Chicken sandwich. I always order it with everything. I call it "Fully Loaded" with ALL condiments and extras. They didn't even ask about my receipt! I was appalled with the absence of the Vanilla frosty. Despite the attitude, I still made an attempt to order my go to meal ( The 4 for 4). I didn't realize you couldn't swap the Jr Cheeseburger for a chicken sandwich (WTF). The drive through employee had a bad attitude right from the start when we pulled up. We couldn't figure out what her problem was. Ordered frosties and had to ask for straws or we weren't getting any. When the food came. The bag had no napkins in it. We thought it was common courtesy for napkins to be included with our food. Apparently not as we didn't get those either. No ketchup with our fries either. Food didn't taste fresh and the burger meat was dry and black in color as if sitting under a heat lamp all day. Wendy's has wonderful food. The Wendy's in Eagle, Idaho has good service and a great value for the money. I have had the chicken strips with a side Caesar salad many times at the Eagle location and the food tasted as good as a sit down restaurant---and for a fraction of the price. The fact that Wendy's gives you healthy choices makes it is great choice for family dining. Also, because Wendy's supports adoption through their sponsorship of the Casey Family program, Wendy's is a wonderful business to support. The Casey Family Program promotes the adoption of older foster children. The only thing that would be even better would be if the Wendy's in Eagle, Idaho would serve breakfast! My husband and son were in Colorado this last year and ate breakfast at Wendy's every day and told me that Wendy's breakfast food was delicious. They kept coming back every day for breakfast because the food was so good! We would love to see Wendy's serve breakfast at their Eagle location and think that this would be very successful because their current location is so close to a hospital, hotel, and many businesses. Wendys used to be my go-to lunch spot, but do not like coming to this location. Cashier in drive thru continually makes ordering the free frosty promo such a big deal if not ordered at the speaker. So the next time I went I did as she asked but ended up getting charged a small frosty instead of given extra small free frosty, so after being annoyed and not going again for months, I decided to come again but I communicated the free frosty at the window and again she felt the need to bring up this very important rule. So I explained, I was charged for a small last time and wanted to make sure it was xxtra small/free. Takes her less than 30 sec to ring up free frosty and get ready, but repeats again that they need to know at speaker, and I responded there was confusion last time and dont want to be charged and she doesn't acknowledge and closes window before I can get sauces. If they were apologetic or reassuring I wouldnt care, but seriously not a huge inconvenience for them and the distrust is because of this same lady. Why so hostile? read more

the two times i've gone for my 30 minute lunch break, they've forgotten the ranch, napkins AND straws. the ladies who speak to you in the drive thru are rude and rush you even though there's never anyone in line. when i've gone in to ask for the ranch that i didn't receive in my order, i was rudely asked to get in the back of the line, just for some cups of ranch that THEY forgot. the workers stand in the back giggling at their customers and i witnessed one of the managers ask his employees, "who would like to play manager today". i work at buffalo wild wings and my managers do their job as managers, they don't push it onto their employees just because they are too lazy. i will not not be coming to wendy's again because this is not the only wendy's that has continued to mess up our orders. read more

I never review anything. I am naturally lazy and really don't care too much, especially in regards to a national fast food chain. If you've been to one Wendy's you have been to them all, right? So, the fact that I've gone out of my way to log on and find a way to give this particular location a bad review is shocking, even to myself. However, my experiences here have been so bad that I wanted to take some action. I wouldn't have thought that the few minutes of interaction I have in a drive up window could be so negative that days later I am still frustrated. Every time I come here, the staff makes me feel like I should apologize to them for inconveniencing them. They are rude and don't make any attempt to hide it. The manager Mark was very rude. He felt it necessary to yell at my mom and my siblings when the Apple Pay wouldn't go through. We went in telling him that all we had was our Apple Pay and he said that he could try it. When it didn't go through he made it seem like it was our fault. If I could, I would've wrote zero stars. I will start this review by saying "JUST DO NOT GO HERE". Just moved to Eagle and this is the closest Wendy's to my house. I love Wendy's, but after three times going here, 2 drive thru and 1 eat in I can honestly say it has been a horrible experience.. For some reason they don't understand "I would like _______ plain and dry without any sauce. Really!!. Two times I get home to find my plain and dry burger covered with vegetables and ketchup... Then the last time I was with a friend and we stopped pretty late to grab a fast bite.. There were around I'm guessing 4-6 people in the back, 2 families and us in the dinning room and there wasn't a clean table in the place. Where do I begin?! The service was terrible. The staff was just standing around and talking loudly about when they worked next and some where complaining about their schedule. AFTER we go our food one of the employees went on break and told another employee that she wanted him to make her food and not the other person (this just so happened to be the person who made OUR food) and that he "knows" why. So that left us thinking what did they do to our food! Then I went to get a refill (the drink fountain isn't a self serve unit) and was told that i wasn't able to get a refill because I got a premium drink (I didn't order a premium drink). Unfortunately fast food options are pretty minimal in Eagle cause I would never come back to this Wendy's. I can't think of a Wendy's that is run any worse. Dining room is always a mess. No matter when you show up the drive thru and inside lines are always long because this place is the slowest fast food around. Always. So slow. Kitchen is always a total mess. Poor old manager (same old man) either is in over his head or doesn't know what to do with his terrible help that just want to talk to their high school buddies in line the whole time.
