My husband and I usually frequent the State St location but we decided to spice things up and check out Flying Pie in Eagle. I appreciate that Flying Pie does "It's your day". You'll never catch my government name on the board so when it's "have a gym membership" day, I'm going in for a pie. This location is quite chill compared to the other location. It's also so different in esthetics. It's bright, colorful and fun. We did come around 8 so it was slower which was nice. My immune system is still low from my kidney transplant so it was nice to be able to enjoy my hot pizza here. My husband snag an all cheese pizza. I got an assortment of goodies on mine. Both pizzas looked so good! Both loaded with cheese. Mine had an ample amount of toppings! These folks don't mess around. The cheese pull was fantastic! I was only able to eat 2 slices since there was so much toppings on each slice. You can't go wrong with spinach, artichoke hearts, mushrooms, olives and pep. I look forward to tearing up another slice for breakfast tomorrow! Airfry that baby up and start my day off right. The gentleman that was working tonight was great! He was training someone but it didn't stop him from giving such great customer service. He dropped off our pizzas and checked up on us a well. He's loud, outgoing and nice! I appreciated his kindness! I love that each Flying Pie has its own vibe and swag to it. It was cool that we checked out this location tonight. Pizza was good. Staff was super friendly and we had a chill time. Flying Pie is always a guarantee when it comes to it's product and service. Nothing better than supporting this local pizza joint. We took the Samoan to go as we headed to the airport! What a treat it was! The staff at the flying pie in eagle are so friendly and welcoming! They loaded us up with the condiments and we were on our way! They even had the pizza ready for us early so we could get to the airport on time! The cashiers are amazing people. The food is nowhere near the price point. I got a 10" Sam I Am with sourdough and it was $18.00. For tomato, garlic and cheese. The crust was flat and crunchy not fluffy like I had once before the the pesto was so much the oil overran the whole pizza so it was like eating a grease ball. I won't be going back there. I love this pizza place!!! We were there on 8.18.25 for one of my boys birthday. The staff was super friendly and helpful, they stored our ice cream cake for us, diligently helped with our needs as they arose, loaned us a lighter, and even sang happy birthday with us. We were so pleased we shared birthday cake with them! We have been there once before and it was similarly awesome! 8/4/25 - 6:45pm We walked into Flying Pie in Eagle and immediately noticed how bad the customer service was. A woman rang up a customer ahead of us and then disappeared to the back without even acknowledging us no "hi," no "we'll be right with you," nothing. We waited for about 15 minutes and still no one said a word. The phone was ringing and they didn't even bother answering it. One guy was in the back making pizzas without gloves, and another employee was cleaning out the walk-in freezer neither of them looked our way or offered any kind of help. A few other people came in and stood at the counter too, and they were ignored just like us. After standing there a while longer, we just walked out. It honestly makes sense why the place was empty. The service was awful. You're better off going to a different Flying Pie location we've had good experiences elsewhere, but this one was a waste of time. read more

The pizza is very unique with sourdough crust and tastes great. Don't be in a rush and come here to eat, it is what it is. Good pie on sourghdough cannot be rushed. Alex their manager was very nice to us and everyone else there. He's good at handling hungry mobs. I recommend their jalapeño pizza. Kids love the pepperoni. And then when I called to let them know of THEIR mistakes, the managers have been extremely rude to me. Avoid this restaurant at all costs. Locally owned small chain and this Eagle location, maybe their fourth (others in Boise, Meridian and Nampa), opened April'ish 2022 in the space where Pizza Hut used to be in the near downtown Eagle Albertson's strip mall, offers delivery, take out and dine in options. HMMM...DINING ROOM: If you are dining in, I'll share something that put me off about the space, aside from walking by the pinball machine and the "can you grab a trinket with the claw" for pay games in the tight little lobby, was the murals on the dining walls. Specifically, they have a black and white portrait of Malcom X, the real word, historical figure, a man who was involved in human human rights causes in the 1960's, a Muslim minister and a spokesperson for the Nation of Islam who was assassinated when he was only 39 in the Audubon Ballroom in NYC where he was a speaker at an event, with the remainder of the wall murals all bright color cartoon characters and fantasy fictional action figures. Could it be the muralist didn't know the importance of Malcom X in 20th Century American history or that the artist thought it fitting to insert his image among the others that are laughable chucklers? Maybe it is because I know something about the history of X's time and remember him that this struck me as disrespectful to this man. Different people may process this differently. THE PIES: If you've had FP Pizza at any of their locations, ditto for what you'll find here for menu and pricing. (Specialty Pizzas in 10" / 12" / 14" at $13 / $23 / $27 or build your own at the same sizes $10 / $14 / $16 with toppings about $2 each among a broad choice of options.) ORDER UP: The people behind the counter are friendly if you're going in to take out or ordering to dine in. For delivery they use Door Dash but you can call the pizzaria directly to place the order without having to go via the DD interface. PARKING: A good thing about this location is it has a parking lot. OUTSIDE DINING: It also has fixed in place outside cement tables with fixed benches to eat outside. ACCESSIBILITY: The lot has accessible (aka ADA) parking including one van accessible, the restaurant space is all on one floor, seating inside is at standard height but none of the outside tables would allow use by a diner using a wheelchair. While slightly politically incorrect, I've been told and it comes up in conversation often enough in the Treasure Valley that I have to agree, because no matter where I go for pizza, I always end up comparing it to Flying Pie... It seems the hippies in Idaho just make the best pizza... Very friendly and accommodating, this place has a different feel than the other flying pie places; they did take over a failed Pizza Hut building, so the art all over the walls which is their typical tongue-in cheek fun style gives the otherwise fast-food building a cool and welcoming vibe. My only gripe is a small one: Beer on tap is great, but none of it is on any menu, so you end up checking out the cans up on the wall which I guess indicates what they have on-hand? Otherwise you simply ask and they rattle it off for you. Oh! While they offer delivery via some 3rd party vendor, they take personal ownership of the delivery themselves, so you can call the store if you have a delivery issue and not go to phone-jail on some 800-number. read more
