This used to be one of the better run fast food stops in the area. They were always fast, fresh, and courteous. Nowadays, not so much. As per other reviewers, I can confirm that they now appear to be circling the drain. I've tried using the drive-thru here a couple of times in the last week after not using this location in quite a while, and I can say consistency is their new strength. Both times, I waited several minutes to order, only to have someone suddenly blurt out over the speaker that they needed me to come inside to order. These were mid-afternoons on a Monday and Friday with 2 cars in the lot on both occasions. terrible place don't waste your time they say the lobby is supposed to be open at 7:30 i arrived at 9am and it was still locked. so i go trough the drive through to pick up my mobile order. all the food was ice cold order was wrong and my drink was luke warm with literally no ice. absolute wast of money and time if i could give this location a -3 i would. read more

Terrible experience went through the drive through where they had me pull up and wait for my food which I understand. Waited about 10 minutes when got home with food all of it was cold all of my jr bacon cheeseburgers were missing bacon and lettuce and had rock hard buns. If I could rate this place a negative 5 I would. SHARON - this message is directly for YOU. Very put out of our large family order. Not one person inside or drive through and we apologized in advanced. We didn't have any customizations to our order besides "no onions" on some burgers. And of course we DID recieve onions. Besides that, SHARON was extremely rude and put out by our water request. We asked for 3 additional waters and her response was " you do realize we have to walk across the store to get water right?" Thank you whomever decided to place this Wendy's in the middle of nowhere. Everywhere else was five more miles from our hotel. This Wendy's was only two. They welcome you as soon as you walk through the door and it's nice and clean inside. I can't tell y'all how much I love a clean fast food joint. They're like a dying breed. Didn't get to check the bathroom out, though. My fast food options can be limited when I'm counting calories. I really wanted to get the "4 for 4" that my coworkers got, but I gotta be smart about my calories. So, a half Power Mediterranean chicken salad it is. It's got yummy stuff like beans, quinoa, feta, sundried tomatoes, and this yummy and creamy hummus drizzle. It's usually paired with light balsamic vinaigrette, but the hummus is enough for me. Around 200 calories for $5 and a cup of water to top it off. Not too bad. And it was delicious, of course. Don't let anyone tell you eating healthy fast food is impossible. Sierra, the woman who took our order, was great. She was super nice and engaging, told a couple of funny jokes. Loved her. It also seemed like everyone got along. Just having a good time and working together. It's refreshing to see that. What I didn't like, though... Was the woman working the drive-thru standing at the window (where the chili is as well) just munching on a salad. Not very ServSafe. Went in at 8:30pm. We ordered 2 sour cream and chive baked potatoes and chocolate frostys. Got our food. Frostys had ice cream all over the lids and cups. No sour cream for the potatoes. Went back in and asked the guy working if I could have some. He says me they didn't have any. I said you could have told us. He informs me he didn't know until after we ordered. He's standing there with a big smirk on his face. I told him next time to tell customers so they can order something else if you don't have what customers are paying for. I have seen herds of cats more organized than this place. Waited 30 minutes on order and food was cold. Staff did care, low energy, just going through the motion. From the looks of it there was only one tall skinny guy working. The other five were standing around literally watching the fries cook. Looks like a homeless camp set up here and just started to spontaneously taking orders, but really has no idea what they are doing. Had a burger that was either overcooked or had been sitting there for a while. Actually, I think it was both. Wendy's burgers are normally at least a little juicy and don't almost have a crust. There's a fair amount of construction in the area so it was not that easy to find this place. Between the random location and the fair food, not sure how this location sticks around. The best Wendy's location in KC! This is in an obscure location off of Interstate 29, and during the lunch rush it's a madhouse but it's a well oiled machine! The line wraps around the building, but it runs quickly, super efficiently and ultra smooth thanks to an amazing manager on duty! One time my toddler wanted a strawberry frosty. She was begging for one but Wendy's doesn't serve them...but guess what? The manager heard me talking with her about it, and made up one quickly using some strawberry syrup! What?? Talk about SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I will pass up all other Wendy's locations just to drive to this one. That's how much I value service with a super attitude! Great spot to stop before you hit the big city. The bathroom and lobby was nice and clean. Our food was wonderful and the staff was very friendly. I probably get breakfast and/or lunch at this location 10 times per month. This morning on 4/24/2018 I pulled up at 6:33am. I waited to order and noticed the menu was still on lunch. After 1 minute or so I pulled up to the window. I saw 2 men in there. The man opened the window and I asked if they were open. He said no, they got in late and needed 30 minutes. The other issue is the quality of the food has been getting worse. Needless to say, it was a huge inconvenice as there is no other fast food near them. I ordered nuggets and fries. Nuggets were good. Fries were at least a couple hours old and tasted like crap. Couldn't finish after just a couple. It was 20 minutes before closing, but I'd still expect better quality. Strongly recommend going elsewhere. I like Wendy's. I am a fan of their salads, so when out and about, Wendy's is always a nice option for a healthy, quick meal. This location is clean, service is friendly, food is good, but employees need to be aware of how they direct their sneezes. While waiting for my food and chatting with a cashier and manager, the manager turned to sneeze and sneezed over the cups and cheese station. They are ok. They always have cold fries. I always upgrade and they never upgrade my food but charge me for upgrade. They had rat problems TWICE! They are slow so make sure you have time. And they put way way way too much sauce on their burger so you will need lots of napkins and they always forget my dipping sauce read more
