Went there and ordered Hamburgers, Fries and Drinks for my family. I paid for my order. I later reviewed my receipt because it just seemed higher then it should be. I found that each of the items I ordered were priced 80 cents more then the posted price on the order board. When I called the store I was told that there was no way to talk to the General Manager. They told me they are not allowed to give the phone number of the regional or Corporate offices. I was also told they that they are not allowed to talk about why the prices are higher then the amount posted. I found and called the Corporate offices to be put on hold for 15 minutes then hung up on. When I called back they forwarded my call to the customer support Manager. I left a message but he to date has not called me back. I do not appreciate their deceptive practices to steal from me and the extremally poor customer service. I waited 10 minutes at the pick up counter without being greeted or even looked at. Two other customers came in and were greeted right away at the counter, got their food, and left. I had to say "excuse me maam" three times before the worker would turn around, not smile, not say a word, and then hand me my bag again without saying a word. It was the same workers there the whole time. I was standing right in the middle of the counter in plain sight. The only complaint I have is that they will dump the fries on top of the burgers in the bottom of the bag and it's not the best to deal with. Burgers and fries need to go in separate bags!!!!!! And they always throw like 37 packs of ketchup that get mixed up in the mess of fries in my bag to go and that's completely unnecessary. The good people don't like ketchup at all and if they do chances are if it's to go they have it at home and it's much easier than packets or they don't want ketchup at all-just seems like a waste. read more

We needed to hit the Target up north and needed lunch. I had read about the popularity of Five Guys and the nutty parking lot scene said it all. We walked into a red and white decor, similar to In & Out. Peanut shells and bags were all over the floor. I wish I had been more familiar with they're serving sizes when I ordered. I got what I thought was a regular size hamburger and it was actually a double. My mom got a "mini," which was really a regular sized burger. Luckily we were smart enough to order a large fry to split between 3 people....perfect. The seating kinda sucks, no booths. The fact that you get peanuts while you wait is cute, but the bags should go in back...there isn't enough room. There was one waitress busting her butt to keep tables clean and everything organized....she was great. The burger was great. It is not better then In & Out, but blows any other fast food joint away. The fries are amazing. There was a dry erase board that said where the pottos were from in Missouri. In & Out should take a lesson in the tasty fry department. Really, my only complaint is no shakes. I think their fries are their signature move. Who puts a grocery bag of fries on the menu...? I think the fries are sized to feed FIVE guys. Add their seasoning, regular or Cajun, and you got a winner, winner, without the chicken dinner. The place is simple counter service with self serve drinks and condiments...everything is served to go in a brown bag. So you can eat in, or walk out, but if you stay grab some peanuts. They're always out, so eat as many as you like. In Florida everyone dropped the shells on the floor, here, the idea has not caught on...I throw them on the floor, so if you see a mess, I've probably just been. They have burgers or dogs, I've never had the dogs. Burgers are cooked to order with as many as 20 different toppings that can be added, all included in the price. The burgers are D'LISH...added items can be grilled or raw, but be prepared, too many toppings, you better grab a knife and fork, they pile them high. Wondered at register why it was so expensive, but was too hungry and tired at the time to compute. Returned to hotel and opened up the bag and realized they had made and charged me for two doubles. After eating the first one, I couldn't even take a bite of the second. I'll give them kudos on beefy portion. But quality of food really does not stack up against In-N-Out. Also, the paper bag that all the food came in started seeping the grease/oil from the fries. After finishing the meal as best as I could, the food really sits on your stomach. This is the closest one to my house, so my fiance and i went for dinner last night. It was a first time for both of us. Anybody can do this, but it takes care to do it right. Five Guys knows how to cook their beef. I can't say I have ever had a bad burger from any Five Guys location. If you like more toppings on your burgers, they have them. My burger is a simple, delicious pleasure. Five Guys is also know for their fresh fries, of which they give you a heaping helping. I'm from California and Five Guys is hard to come by. The lines at the ones out there are loooonnnggg because there are very few in our whole gigantic state. But since I travel to KC frequently to visit the boyfriend, I thought, a perfect opportunity to try this famous burger that's supposed to be better than In-N-Out. [For those of you that don't know, In-N-Out Burger is famously the best burger joint in California. Simple eats, burgers, fries, and shakes. They have a special secret menu so you can order your burgers OR fries "animal style" which slathers the food in their secret sauce. The rumors have been abounding that this "Five Guys" place had better burgers than In-N-Out.] So we mosey on over to this Five Guys and the decor is similar to In-N-Out. They do provide free peanuts but no milkshakes!! And since when do parents let their kids climb tables and do NOTHING about it?? I swear if my kid did half the things I saw those kids doing, we'd be having a Come to Jesus speech. I ordered my burger the way I like it, the exact way I would order it at In-N-Out. While Five Guys has a lot of variety, more than In-N-Out, in a basic burger v. burger competition, In-N-Out wins, hands down. Not even close. I had the double cheeseburger, with everything but mushrooms. That meant lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions, mayo, pickles, ketchup, mustard. I'm sorry but if you guys think Five Guys has the best burger, it's only because there's no In-N-Out near you. I suppose it's a decent substitute but only if you can't get to an In-N-Out. Five guys seem to be an up and coming place and is all the rage for burger horking fanatics. Sorry to rain on your parade but while I found this place good, there are still a few blemishes. On the positive side, all your burgers are cooked to order. You specify which toppings you want. All the stuff is made fresh including the fries, fresh cut fries hot from the fryer is a definite plus. While you are waiting for your made to order order, you can munch on the fresh salted peanuts they have around. Service is ultra freindly, I arrived about 15 before closing time and they still treated me well, even the person cleaning the tables didn't flinch when I left a bunch of peanut skins on the floor while eating their peanuts. I got the order and all was hot and ready. Burger is a bit on the juicy side, so it can be a bit of a smelly mess to eat. They really load you up on the fries, but the big negative was that they salted the living crap out out of the fries. So they give me all these fries but I end up throwing most of it away because it was a salt bomb. Too much salt and a burger, while good, was too soggy for my taste.
