Food is pretty standard for what your works expect from Jimmy John's which I think is good. Service is very distant and much slower than I am used to with many other Jimmy John's. I only ordered a standard sandwich and was in the drive thru line for 15 minutes. This location is consistently not meeting the "Freaky Fast" slogan. I have even tried ordering through the app and had the food delivered over 30 minutes after the window I selected. I like the food, I just hope this location can get it together. read more

My coworkers and I are often unable to leave work during our lunch breaks, so we order a LOT of delivery. Jimmy Johns is by far the fastest, most efficient and most consistent delivery option in the area! The employees are always friendly, and don't take forever to take your order. Whether we're ordering one sandwich or five, our food always shows up about 15 minutes later, and is always fresh and delicious! My personal favorite is #12, "The Beach Club", with turkey, provolone, avocado spread, lettuce, tomato & mayo. Sometimes I get it on French bread, and sometimes I get it on their fabulous, nutty 7-grain bread. (It tastes remarkably similar to Farm to Market's "Grains Galore".) They also serve a legit (and giant) deli pickle. I had a friend that once drove through their drive-thru just for one of those pickles. If you are counting carbs, they can also make any sandwich into an "un-wich" by wrapping it in lettuce instead of bread. read more

If I was able to give this location 0 stars then I would. Just walked in and before even saying anything the guy at the register says "I'm not making Italian sandwiches". Then I walk in with my service dog and they say "That dog needs to leave". Afterwards we explained that the way they talked was not kind it turns out the one that was disrespectful was the manager. Then he laughed at us and said "I already put my 2 weeks in". I have never seen such bad customer service before. So sad that the employees that were with him just laughed as well. For the 2nd time recently, someone from my office has received a snippy note from JJ's on their sandwich for not ordering correctly. My co-worker wants a dry sandwich with turkey and lettuce. That's it. Last time she ordered a Turkey Tom via their app and requested everything to be held except meat and lettuce. She got a nasty-gram stating, "next time order a plain slim." So she did that and asked to add a little lettuce. She got the pictured snippy note! (It said - we don't give out freebies). My question is, for an order of over $35.... will it kill you guys to make your customer happy and give them .02 pennies worth of lettuce instead of your "2 cents" in an ugly note? Sorry folks but I'm not sure what makes these things Custom or good! There isn't enough ingredients in one of these subs to call it a sandwich. The price might be good, but trust me - you are buying bread! The folks seemed to welcome you and send you on your way like robots - not really caring much if you were there or not! Hands down the best Jimmy J's location! What reviewer said they had rude service? Never! Who said the bread was stale and crumbly? I think not! Let me start by saying I am a huge fan of Jimmy Johns to the point of researching the franchise as of my MBA projects. We have tried this location about a half dozen times and every time the bread has been stale and crumbled as you ate the sandwich. Every other location I have been to in the states the bread is fresh and moist, one of the main reasons I normally enjoy Jimmy Johns sandwiches. Hopefully they can fix this major issue! read more

I attended the Jimmy John's Gourmet sandwiches located at 7014 NW 83rd St. They greeted me with a friendly hello. The first thing I noticed was the scent from the bread coming out of the oven smelled like freshly baked bread. I was staring at the menu for a few minutes and I just couldn't make up my mind. The friendly guy at the register told me his recommendation without me even asking. He recommended me the Turkey Tom. It has Turkey breast, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and mayo. I decided to get that. It was amazing. I also got the original Jimmy John's chips. They were salty. I didn't get a drink. My total was $8.25 with tax. It was fairly priced. The layout of the restaurant was typical of a sandwich shop. It had tile floor. There were no pictures on the wall which i thought was weird. The walls were blank. They had 6 tables that sit 4 each. They also have 3 booths. The walls are a nice burgundy red. The ceiling is a nice off white. Overall the restaurant is very nice. I would give it a 5/5. They also deliver. They are freaky fast. They sure do live up to their slogan. Their hours are Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM. to 9:00 PM. I also really like their sub sandwiches; the Turkey Tom is my favorite. 16B read more

Guess what happens at this Jimmy John's location when you order a sandwich at the drive thru, drive 25 miles home with it only to open it up and realize they gave you a different sandwich than the one you ordered (that you have to throw away because you can not eat what's on it)??? Here's the answer....you email them multiple times only to be told you'll be hearing back from the owner. That never happens, so you place an additional call to the store over a week later and you get a manager that claims he "tried to leave you a voice mail". ( Uh, sorry you can't really get away with that excuse these days). After this you are then told you have to come back to the store to get another sandwich. That's not very convenient given you live 25 miles away so you inform the manager of this dilemma. He says he doesn't know what else to do because he just can't justify mailing you a refund. That is just too much inconvenience for him. Yep, this "store manager" has the nerve to tell you that he just can't justify refunding you your money for his store's mistake because it's only $5. He won't even mail you a coupon for a free sandwich. In summary, this store can't make a sandwich correctly and they outright refuse to fix the problem. Is this where you want to spend your money? I don't. I guess I'm the bigger idiot for wasting the effort. I really can't believe people like this get the privilege of running a business. read more
