This Wendy's is probably one of the worst I've encountered the food is over cooked and dry they close their front door early and just put a note in the window saying " Closed low on staff " and I've even went there during early evening hours and found the drive thru blocked with another car with a note in the back stating the same " not enough staff " sign. The last five times I've been here I can't get in or they closed early it's pretty frustrating. read more

Showed up to grab some breakfast before a long day, only to be told they were only taking cash because their systems were broken. At that point, I feel like they should accommodate their customer by fulfilling their orders anyway. Not turn them away because of their system issue. read more

Worst customer service I've ever seen. The door was locked still 15 minutes after they opened instead of letting me in, they just looked at me like I'm an idiot. Filled with a bunch rude Hispanics employees that don't care for white folks apparently. They all gave me looks with attitudes. Floors were mopped with no signs saying wet floors. Food quality was 4/5. However, in food service, there's a thing called Bare-hand Contact. It's a big no-no. I noticed the cashier handling some fries without gloves, and touching some of the fries while doing so. Hopefully I don't get sick in the next couple days. If I do, I could probably go after them and, using camera footage, would probably win. Were it not for this, they would get 4/5 overall. Maybe even 5/5. Update: I received a comment from an employee, saying that they don't require gloves when handling fries. Yikes! No more Wendy's fries for me. This is a franchise of Wendy's that clearly cares. The old building was bulldozed and completely rebuilt from the ground up. It looks like a 2 story building from the outside but it is only one with very high ceilings. Staff is friendly, food is cooked fresh and the staff all work together very well. The food is Wendys so of course is not the best quality in terms of good for you and large servings but for being a Wendys this is a great location. read more

Out of all the fast food in the area, this location is the best. It's clean, it's new, and it has a competent and professional staff. Be warned: you aren't ordering the same Wendy's food here you are at other locations! The food you get here is assembled correctly and on-recipe. It threw me because menu items I normally don't care for are suddenly appealing! Even the late-night drive thru staff is on point. As long as their management keeps pushing the envelope on training and thorough customer service, this place is gonna stay on the top of our list. read more

Always have a great experience coming to this location. I refuse to go to any other Wendy's because the food is always made the best at the Kirkland location. There have been times where I am in Monroe or Seattle and I will take the time to drive to Kirkland just so I get quality food and customer service. read more

We live about 3 blocks from this Wendy's.. ordered 2 burgers and went straight home and dove in... except our burgers were cold. It was only 5 minutes from that Wendy's till we ate. How does it get that cold that fast? Gross. read more

In the last few months they have been serving bacon pieces instead of actual strips. They seem to be tearing the bacon in half and only barely cover to hamburger. Not much of a baconator. Other franchises don't appear to be doing this. Sandwiches are hit or miss on being warm as well. Actual restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly. read more

Ok, i love the frosty (who doesnt) and i love diet coke. So why havent i taken the plunge (with vanilla of course) and tried the frosty float? Cause im chicken. Sad but true. 5 star for the frosty but I had to take a star away because sometimes communication is difficult, although service is fast. and, not necessarily this locations fault but in KS the burgers just tasted better. I think there is just this issue with the beef out here on the coast. Lets face it, this is more a more fish and chips kinda place (the west coast that is). I got the new mushroom burger and came home and my fries were soggy and once I took a bite of the burger there was a piece of paper inside that was suppose to be peeled off from the cheese and i tried to finish the burger but I couldn't because the cheese and the paper was melted in. I called the store and they told me to come back in and we can replace it for me and he said he took my name down but It was to far of a drive. So I came back in 2 days after and the lady from drive thru told me I didn't have proof so I couldn't get it my food replaced. So I am never going to eat Wendy's every again. Also I'm letting all my friends know not to go there because they are unprofessional and alway mess things up. read more

Sorry to disappoint my healthfood nuts and several ND friends, exposing here that, oh yes, I'm still eating fast food. Perhaps not so much Wendy's anymore, though. The quality of burgers at this Totem Lake Wendy's franchise has gone considerably downhill since the facility was remodeled. Burgers are smaller, buns are larger, fries are limp, everything is more greasy. Overall it's a yukky experience, and I'm unlikely to frequent here much until I forget I didn't like it the last time. Plus the new building has an odd sensory feel to it with its several dining areas, and the higher ceilings and open kitchen make for a much noisier / less pleasant environment. And can you imagine.... when I tried to order a Whopper at the drive through here, they didn't have one. LOL read more

I usually eat at Wendy's once a month on my way home from work. Depending on my route I either go by the Wendy's in Woodinville or this one in Totem Lake. I keep forgetting that this one sucks. I don't believe that I've ever ordered here (drive thru) that something hasn't been way off. Tonight, because it's cold out, I ordered a small coffee as my drink. Got to the window and waited several minutes until the window server asked me to please park and wait because the coffee was still another minute to finish brewing. I parked, waited 6 minutes, phoned inside and told them I was still waiting in their parking lot for my coffee. And was told the coffee took 4 minutes to brew, I again told them I'd been waited 6 minutes outside and 3 minutes at the window. I was then told "Oh I guess it's done now." Another 1 1/2 minutes goes by and someone brings the coffee ... without the two creams and 2 sugars. Goes back inside, this time comes right out with two creams and 2 sugars and nothing to stir with. By this time I've finished eating my sandwich. I've GOT TO REMEMBER to SKIP THIS PLACE next time I'm hungry! read more

I went to Wendy's last week. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich meal. The chicken was cold, the fries were salty and had a hair on one. Went there with my daughter and her friend for a bite. Ordered 2 chicken burgers /2 large fries /2 frosty's and a num.1. When are food came up we were missing a large fry. When I asked about it the casher didn't ring it in. His mistake we repeated are order twice. They brought the fries out but we had to pay for them and had to run my card again. Then to top it off my hamburger was lukewarm. I though they made them fresh to order like 5Guys or Jack in the box. This was at 4 pm the patty must have been left over from lunch. I know they are trying to save a buck but at what cost a customer. read more

ugh.I have gone to this Wendy's again and again because it is RIGHT near my work. I have walked out almost each time empty handed , as i have a rule-If the people handling my food are unhappy, i don't eat there.Last time, i asked if my food would be ready within 5 minutes, because i had a bus to catch, and the last order (4 people) had taken them 8 minutes or longer and i was worried because the last time i had come, i had waited more them 5 minutes for my food. they said they "couldent say" after the cashier went to the back to ask. like it's some major request. HELLO??? your FAST FOOD! thats why i came in here. because i need it FAST.i think all the Wendy's have been getting worse and worse, but thats because if you don't pay enough to your employees, you cannot keep good ones. so you keep getting new ones, and if they get better, they move on, and if they are still bad...who wants them? i will go to other ones, but i wish the chain would just get a clue, and start paying/treating/training the employees better!!!! read more

I've been going here for many years. Food quality is always good & service is faster than average... almost too quick when it comes to drive-thru order-taking (more than once they've asked for my order before my tires even stopped rolling). Easy access in/out, but if your destination is not to the west, exiting or entering the parking lot is impossible without whipping a U or going around the block like an airplane on approach. Men's restroom could use a little freshening-up. read more

I have to say that there is nothing worse than ordering a bunch of food and asking if everything is in the bag. The worker telling you it is all in there, in such a way that you feel like you have asked a crazy question. And sure enough you get back to the office and your Taco Salad consists of lettuce cheese and tomato, with a side of chips. Where is the meat and beans? It was horrible and I am now starving.
