It took 25 min to get our food through the drive through. Food was wrong. When we went in to ask them for the correct order, the employee started swearing and dropping F Bombs. I pulled up and the employee's greeting was a simple "Whenever you're ready" which wasn't particularly unfriendly or rude but a "good morning" would have been nicer. Sandwich was okay but for $4+ I could just buy a 4pk of the frozen kind and have been equally satisfied. Ordered an online mobile order excited for some Wendy's. I get to the store to pick up my order only to be informed that they have absolutely no American cheese nor any regular nuggets. I asked the lady running the drive through why I was able to order said items through the mobile app & why they weren't taken off their menu. The lady was extremely unprofessional and just shrugged her shoulders. I was very disappointed in my service, especially being that I work in the fast food industry myself. I've watched the history of Wendy's and it's founder Dave Thomas. Fresh food, burgers are square "'cause they don't cut corners". Dave is the epitome of hard work leading to success, etc etc. Now it's basically run by venture capitalists who will gut it financially until there's nothing left to gut! The stores, this one in particular are dreary and dated. It seems to be a race to the bottom with Burger King. They need a total refresh but I doubt a dime has been spent on this store in ages. I ordered a cheese burger, fries and a lemonade, medium sized. $10 later I get soggy grey-ish fries, a greasy rolled burger with tomato which I asked not to have and no ketchup after asking for no mustard on a tired day old roll. Not only are the fries limp but also no salt so they basically tasted like nothing which might have been fortunate. Busy body Karens who never go to fast food joints probably have them use old rolls to cut down on " food waste", and use some enviro- healthy frying substance that would be better used on a chainsaw bar. In the days of old when fast food was good and a value a occasional miss would be acceptable, but for $10 I'd like a bit more effort! I'm sure the asset stripping owners of Wendy's will have milked it dry soon and put it out of it's misery so the problem will cure itself. So don't be sucked in by the short drive thru line (guilty) and try anywhere else. Their trademarked slogan is "Quality is our recipe". What a load of crap. Ordered a single with cheese burger and received two over cooked junior burger pieces of meat on the bun with the other toppings trying to hide what they had done. When you spend that kind of money these days you would expect something that is at least edible and what you ordered. Fish sandwich is smaller than McDonalds filet-o-fish, which is ironic since their commercials show it so large it's extending beyond the bun and the voiceover actually specifically speaks to the size of it. It was small and greasy. I tried to send a complaint to corporate, however their website has so many glitches it would not send, which only further irritated me. I have no intentions of ever going to any Wendy's again. This one was in Lake Orion, MI. Neither of us really even eat fast food anymore, but the commercial made it look decent and because it was after 5pm and neither of us had eaten anything that day, it was convenient and it was right where we were. I normally stop going to restaurants when I can see the staff don't care about the food. I went a few months ago. Got a single in which the patty was crunchy/burnt. The bun was hard as well. They stay pretty busy so I have no idea how they could be serving burgers that have sat, pre-cooked and then re-grilled. Well, the family wanted to get Wendy's because it was one of the few places open. My burger was served the same way again...crunchy! Fries were also old, well done and very salty! Apparently, people who order via one of the food delivery services are at a disadvantage. You would think that getting advanced notice of an order would be good thing. Not so. I ordered over an hour ago. My delivery person sat in line for over 30 minutes and was told the food wouldn't be ready for another 15 minutes when they got to the window. I've worked fast food. Nothing takes 15 minutes to prepare even when you don't know about the order ahead of time. read more

I just heard a heart breaking story about your establishment. There is somebody in my class who says there was a clump of hair in their burger. Which is not acceptable by any means. This restaurant needs a thorough inspection on Hell's Kitchen by Gordon Ramsey himself. I remember coming as a child my toes curled in my crocs for a frosty. Now I literally get mad when my family goes here. It takes at least 20 minutes every time you get to the window and they aren't nice people. If I could give this Wendy's a zero I would, I ordered 4 for $4 and wanted jr bacon cheeseburger, with spicy nuggets, not at all what I got. They gave me a regular cheeseburger with no mayo, no bacon, a tiny piece of lettuce, the tomato looks disgusting. I didn't get my spicy nuggets, they gave me regular. Called to ask for a refund cause I'm not eating this, manager "Hope" told me to call back in 45 minutes.. Wendy's is the best fast food place in Lake Orion by far! I have lived here for 19 years and have been going there for years now. They are quick and my order is always right. Not many fast food places are quick AND fast.. it's usually one or the other. On top of it I am always greeted pleasantly at the speaker. Everyone who works there is so kind, but one guy (I'm not sure his name) always blows it out of the water. He is enthusiastic and you can tell he loves his job. Definitely brightens my mood. It's hard to be dissappointed by a Wendy's, but this location managed to. The drive-through took forever even though there were only two cars in front of mine. I got to the window and it was quite a few minutes before anyone even came to the window. The spicy chicken nuggets were so overcooked that I only ate one -- they were tough as a tire. The layout of the parking lot is also bad, I thought that the two cars full of high school girls that were backing out were going to hit me. read more

This Wendy's has been in downtown Lake Orion forever. It's really hard to pull in the parking lot because you can't really see around the corner, and sometimes people are backing out of their spaces when someone is pulling in. Also, cars are usually going really fast on the main road, so I would always worry I was going to get rear-ended as I was pulling in to the lot. Aside from the awkward parking situation, I feel like they do a good job of keeping this location clean and efficient. Terrible service on a very large order, the order was shorted by the woman behind the counter and later denied that she had even taken the order even though her name was on the receipt and she could not process a valid credit card for the order and required cash payment.
