Sorry to say I just had a burger here. It was disgusting. To be candid, I'm not a fan of fast food burgers; for instance, I haven't been to. McDonalds in years. I do stop at a Culver's on rare occasions, and they generally are (for what they are) pretty decent. And I've been to the the Wendy's in Buffalo Grove a couple of times (late at night, hungry, on the way home). They aren't anything to shout about, but this one, on Rand in LZ, was just flat-out terrible. The burger was dry and overcooked, the condiments asloppy mess. I went in to take advantage of the free fries and frosty and also ordered some nuggets. When I ordered, the person taking my order got the fries and frosty and just walked away while I was still ordering. After I left and got in the car, I realized that they got my order wrong, another example of the poor service. After I got the correct order, the person who served me decided that it was right to slam my chicken nuggets down in front of me, one more example of the terrible service. read more

I never come here anymore, and gave in when someone had a craving. I got a $5 bag, and this was my cheeseburger. When I first bit into it, all I tasted was bread and lettuce. It seemed super wrong, and so I peeled back the bun. I mean, look at the patty I recieved. I don't actually know if it would be possible to make it any thinner. Okay so I came into wendys last week and immediately noticed that one of the workers wearing an illuminati shirt ( DO NOT WORRY IT WAS EVENTFUL). They immediately came up to us and started talking about conspiracy theories of aliens?... And when I bread and sat down in one of the booths to order I couldn't shake the feeling someone was watching me...I looked around and the cashiers eyes were on me and he was looking at me a little too intensely like he knew something I didn't maybe I was just hungry or I watched too many spy movies but let's be real SOMETHING felt off and the food was definitely something... Wendy's fries reminded me of a bad one night stand and tasted sad like only a potato with low self esteem could carry. This is one of the better Wendy's, very clean, very well run and very nice to their customers. They have the new Coke machines that have a wide variety of flavors and there are two of them so that you can easily get your drink. read more

Called to see if they had a baconater burger in stock there to see if I could order, and the guy who answered seemed miserable. I asked abs he said yes. He had a little bit of an attitude and then I asked if they had sauce. And the guy immediately said "we have caller is you know that right" and then I said yes I'm just asking if you guys have sauce and then he immediately ignores me and then hangs up. I call back and I immediately get declined. I went there a few days before and they took 7 minutes to get my order and I order 10 chicken nuggets with fries and a sprite. I felt disrespected. Generally friendly staff, but continuing fulfillment errors on orders at the drive-through, even after face-to-face comments to the manager on duty. Admittedly, it happens mostly when we request an adjustment to something on menu. Example: (salad) no cranberries requested. Salad was delivered once with both cranberries omitted (good) and cheese crumbles omitted (not so good). Or, another time (salad) no cranberries were requested (and correctly indicated on the receipt), cranberries were doubled with extra. Other salad adjustment errors I won't detail. This branch has got to be the best in terms of customer service. You can get same kind of stuff from any other branches, but the crew has got to be the winning factor compared to others. The service was super-fast and the burger was perfect. The employees were professional and did an awesome job. The place always maintains a clean environment. Also their bathrooms are clean and so are inside and out. Wish I had more to say but I've yet to have a bad Wendy's experience and this place was just as good as expected. So, despite reading the previous reviews, we decided to go to the drive through as I had a craving for a Baconator Double and because there is very little open around midnight in the Lake Zurich area. I panicked, briefly, when the associate took our money and asked us to pull ahead to wait for our food. I thought to myself, this is exactly the point at which it went downhill for the others. Much to our surprise; the food came out quickly, the order was correct and the food was hot and prepared just for us. It was exactly as it should have been. I worked here for 7+ months and everyone was great. This was the best first job I could have ever had. Not only am I saying this because I worked there. Before I was an employee, I was indeed one of the regulars. I'd walk here every single day to get food with my Grandmother. They are SO good to the regulars it's insane. You want no salt on your fries? You got it, we'll bring it to you! You want no salt on even your burgers? We can do that too! You want a half size salad with just Romane lettuce and shredded cheddar? Got home and found that my order was short. They didn't give me a receipt, my order was missing an item, so I tried to call. The phone rang and rang until it was disconnected. After several times of trying to call and no one answering the phone, I gave up. I couldn't go back because they didn't give me a receipt. I went at 730 at night and there was only one other car in line so it's not like they were too busy to answer the phone. This happened to me before a few years ago and I wrote a letter to manager but no one ever contacted me to make it right. This time I just won't go back. What a fine eating establishment. Great food. Great deals. Great atmosphere. I am aware that this location's atmosphere is not as good as other locations that have updated their look, however the service's speediness redeems themselves for the lack of contemporary design. The food always comes out in a timely manner and never had an issue with their accuracy in fulfilling my order. I've never utilized their drive thru, so I cannot speak about some of the issues other customers have had. Their staff is always nice and friendly, very sociable. I am regular at this fine establishment and the 4 for $4 meal deal (my personal favorite is with the junior bacon cheeseburger) is the best deal that you can get in all of the fast food universe. read more

This is the absolute worst place when it comes to customer service. The orders are ALWAYS screwed up and nothing is EVER right. Today just sank to a new low, we were promised replacement salads since they were messed up. I tried to get them today and the manager insisted on arguing with me that I am just trying to get something for free. Well low and behold she still manages to make me the wrong salads and when I told her she got angry at me slammed the salads in the trash then managed to insult me to the other workers. When I did receive the correct salads they were STILL wrong!!! Then I ordered fries with no salt, I was given fries with extra salt. I am never going to this Wendy's again. How does location only have 2 and a half stars? I live in Park Ridge but will always stop here on my way home from work and have a terrific experience here. The food always comes out super fast and the orders are always right. The employees are also always extremely friendly. I will not go to any other Wendy's (or most other fast food restaurants in general) because of how well run this restaurant is. read more

I was supprised when They immediately asked us to move up without having anyone behind us. The truck ahead of us got frustrated and left before receiving their food. We received our food after waiting 12 minutes. The employee was clearly irritated when we asked for our receipt. When we checked the food it was over salted and luke warm. I went through the drive through, looking at the menu trying to take my time but then the person talking to me wanted me to rush so I just walked in. The customer service was horrible and they were very rude and were not patient with me at all. When I finally got my order it ended up being wrong and when I told them this they argued with me and thought I was trying to get free food. Everything in the store seems unorganized and the kitchen looked very messy. The workers would kick trash under the kitchen appliances. The dining room smelled bad. My 5 jr. bacon cheeseburgers were completely wrong. 2 w/ no cheese. 3 with ketchup, mayo, onion, pickles, and lettuce. My spicy chicken sandwich? Ketchup, mustard, mayo, onion, pickle, and lettuce.
