If you are looking for a cheap fast food experience like KFC or Popeye's, this place is not for you. Note this is a VERY small place, and it is absolutely NOT a fancy place, but has cool genuine local vibe. They only have 3 tables. You order at the counter and then they bring the food to you or hand to you for take out. Also - they make your meal to order, so be prepared to wait while they cook the chicken. The potato wedges are also very good, and I don't know if they make their own ketchup for the fries, but it is excellent too. The staff are the owners here and are very friendly. Rate 5 stars b/c of the food, but the physical restaurant I'd give 2 stars due to so few tables, outside restrooms, etc. Highly recommend if you especially love fried chicken.

Andrea has has the hangover burger and the midstate burger with cottage cheese and shared in the chips and nachos. She also stole huge bites of my burgers and several of my onion rings! Everything has been awesome! So awesome, int fact, we stopped on the way uo north to Alpine from Gilbert, and decided to stop in again the following day in the way home! Our choices were Copper Bistro and Nurd Burger Cafe and for no particular reason we decided on Coper Bistro. We were surprised and richly rewarded by their cheese burger, fries and onion rings. I may have made mention in other reviews that a burger patty must protrude beyond the bun in order to attract my attention. This patty protruded well beyond the brioche bun and, better yet, it was hand crafted, not pulled out of a box of 300 other patties that were shaped exactly the same. And the beef was flavorful. We both enjoyed the fries and onion rings. Our meal was so filling we didn't eat dinner that night. Oh, the staff are super friendly, attentive and downright welcoming. If you find yourself in Globe, you could do a lot worse that supping at Copper Bistro.

Great service at the table , with friendly personality. Table was clean, no stickiness and I watched as other patrons felt their table tops, remarking on them being so clean. My dining partner had a plain burger and onion rings, she said they were very good and the rings were really crunchy, in a great way. Hope to be able to enjoy again soon.

Foody joints are sparce in Globe, but there are a few hole in the walls. Drift Inn has been around since the early 1900's, at least the building (I think as a bar.) Couple of pool tables, minimal seating. Clean, but old. Fun. We got there 1/2 hour before they stopped serving food. I had a Ruben w/ Fries and wife a burger w/ Onion rings. Very good. Took a while, but my Ruben was hot off the grill, as was the wife's burger. Fries hot and crispy. Just great bar food. Nothing fancy, but easy going. 3 out of 5 stars for just overall ambience. This is not a place to take little kids, due to some of the painting on close to the ceiling - a certain level of female exposure.

On entering we found a thoroughly modern fast food restaurant. We were seated immediately and offered menus and drinks. Quick inspection revealed a quiet, clean place with waitresses ready to be of service. The menu was 3 pages long and had lots of favorites on it. It was nice to see a fair number of senior items listed. Companion ordered the bacon burger done medium. It was cooked perfectly and appeared to be homemade and about a third of a pound. It was graced with nicely cooked bacon strips, american cheese, lettuce, pickles, tomato, onion and BBQ sauce. It came with a nice side of creamy cole slaw. For myself, I ordered the green chile burger done rare. Unlike many other places they will cook the burger the way you like it and mine was cooked to perfection. Again, a nice big patty with jack cheese melting over it along with lettuce and tomato and a large green chile draped over it. This was one of the very best burgers I have ever been served. It was dripping down my hands and arms, but that is why there are sinks in bathrooms. An outstanding burger served with perfectly cooked onion rings and an extra side of cole slaw that I ordered. There were huge sweet rolls that were just put out on the counter, but I didn't have the room to eat one, and companion couldn't even finish the burger that was ordered. If I am ever back in that area again you can be sure I will stop there and order the same burger again. Service was fast and sanitation was excellent and spotlessly clean. My only regret is that we don't have any place even close to this in the Phoenix area. An outstanding lunch. 5 stars

We ordered a breakfast burrito and tamales con crema from the Sunday brunch menu. They were absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh and the quality of ingredients was evident. Our server, Reagan, was pleasant, helpful, and attentive! The interior is very welcoming and there are many different seating options - bar, high top, patio. We chose a table on the corner that had v windows - corner windows - so it was bright and cheerful! I will be back!
