The toppings on the burger were the only good thing about it. The Beyond burger had mustard that tasted off and there was no mayo. The bun was hard and dry. I was hoping for homemade fries in a place like this, not shoestring frozen fries that taste like they were purchased from Fry's store brand. The shakes were ok. For the about the same price as Culver's or Red Robin, I was expecting a better quality burger. I guess for Globe it is a high quality burger place. I should not compare it to Phoenix Metro restaurants. The staff were nice and pleasant and we didn't wait long.

Foody joints are sparce in Globe, but there are a few hole in the walls. Drift Inn has been around since the early 1900's, at least the building (I think as a bar.) Couple of pool tables, minimal seating. Clean, but old. Fun. We got there 1/2 hour before they stopped serving food. I had a Ruben w/ Fries and wife a burger w/ Onion rings. Very good. Took a while, but my Ruben was hot off the grill, as was the wife's burger. Fries hot and crispy. Just great bar food. Nothing fancy, but easy going. 3 out of 5 stars for just overall ambience. This is not a place to take little kids, due to some of the painting on close to the ceiling - a certain level of female exposure.

When we stopped there last year, we learned that they were not serving any food that day because the cook was out sick. Today was successful. My wife and I shared a Rueben and an order of fries and onion rings. Everything was very good. The 1902 historic building has a mural on one of it's walls and the classic pressed metal ceiling. Our choices were Copper Bistro and Nurd Burger Cafe and for no particular reason we decided on Coper Bistro. We were surprised and richly rewarded by their cheese burger, fries and onion rings. I may have made mention in other reviews that a burger patty must protrude beyond the bun in order to attract my attention. This patty protruded well beyond the brioche bun and, better yet, it was hand crafted, not pulled out of a box of 300 other patties that were shaped exactly the same. And the beef was flavorful. We both enjoyed the fries and onion rings. Our meal was so filling we didn't eat dinner that night. Oh, the staff are super friendly, attentive and downright welcoming. If you find yourself in Globe, you could do a lot worse that supping at Copper Bistro.

We were in full shade. The owner handled this as well as our order and bringing out the food. He was friendly and engaging. The place is cute inside and was clean. The only disappointment was that the half pound of brisket I got was chopped rather than sliced. I am sure that is on me for not realizing it would come that way. Regardless, the meat was lean and tender and has a nice smokey taste. I prefer not to use sauce and this meat didn't need any. The burnt ends (both beef and pork belly) were good but I would stick to the brisket. My husband got a baked potato and it was loaded up nicely. The fries were very good and served piping hot. The order size was generous. If you find yourself in or near Globe, this place is worth a stop.

The gal running the ship was so kind! I looked at the menu ahead of time so I knew a Bobbie Burro would be hearty enough. Had to wait a little time so I sat down and read the paper. She gave me both red & green sauces since I wasn't sure what my spice tolerance would be.
