Rude & classless. At 11:30am the dining room was empty. Employees chatted behind the counter while I stood at the register waiting for my order to be taken. I ordered 2 double stacks. They were barely warm and the cheese wasn't even melted. The hamburger patties looked like they had been in a warmer for an hour. They tasted bad. When I left, I had to walk through a big cloud of smoke from the entire Wendy's crew on a smoke break right outside of the entrance. I held the door open for a female employee that was headed back in and she gave me the stink eye. I told her to have a nice day and she ignored me. As i drove away I looked back at the crew going back into the restaurant. Updated review... my wife brought home a big tub of chili from Wendy's. Although it isn't what we'd really consider chili on its best day, it is normally a hearty bowl full of tasty food. The tub we got was essentially Bean Soup. It reminded me of their old commercial, "Where's the Beef?" I asked myself that question as I was eating and confirmed it with my wife and son too. So bad! Me and da boys popped up for the krabby party and the pineapple frosty was out of pineapple and vanilla!!!!!!! I don't frequent the Wendy's hamburger store on Longpoint Road in Mount Pleasant much anymore because the service is always extremely slow at the drive-through even with little traffic. And on top of that, in one way or another they routinely get my order wrong. Today, Wed, 1/08/25 after being in the drive-through line for at least 10+ minutes my Wendy's double burger with no cheese as ordered in fact did have cheese when I got home, plus for some reason the burger was barely warm. I had to nuke it to make it more palatable. Probably the last time I will ever go to the Wendy's on Longpoint Road in Mount Pleasant. I won't be surprised if this place closes in the near future. Can I leave 0 stars? This place is the absolute worst fast food place in Mount Pleasant. I like Wendy's ok and sometimes the fries are hot and sometimes they aren't. I get it - it's fast food. This particular time they got the order wrong anyhow and forgot to give me my drinks. ( I suppose the drinks could be blamed on me since I was so disgusted and displeased with the rudeness of all the employees I encountered that I finally just drove off). I placed an order through the mobile app and it said to go to the drive-thru to pick it up. As soon as I said I had a mobile order the rude lady said oh you have to come inside to get those. There were two cars ahead of me so nothing for me to do but wait. I explained the mobile app stated to go to drive-thru. She said that's the rule you have to come inside. Then another lady got in the speaker and told me the same thing and I could hear the first lady yelling in the background 'I told him he need to come inside'. I asked for a manager and was told I need to come inside for that too. By this time I finally got to the window and when the manager finally made her way to the window she told me they were short staffed (it's been two years - can ever fast food restaurant quit using this excuse for rude service? I understand it might take longer and service might be slower but it is not an excuse for being rude to customers. She also told me that they did a remodel and even though the app says to go to drive through their rule is to come inside. I have no idea how parking and coming inside once I was already in line and had pre-ordered through the mobile app would help them address the problem of being short staffed. Makes no sense. The manager finally passes my order through the window and as she is explaining her 'rule' another employee standing behind her is mocking me and laughing as she disputes what I'm telling manager. She then began to pull out her phone to record me. I could care less if she records me but what she should have recorded was how the employees treat customers and use it as a training tool to improve customer service. Every single employee I encountered was EXTREMELY RUDE and should not be employed in any job that requires interaction with customers. This particular Wendy's has ALWAYS seemed to struggle having a team that was not rude, nasty and completely unprofessional and that was way before COVID. Whoever owns this particular location needs to find a way to hire employees that aren't nasty and rude to customers and that can read an order and make the order as it was ordered. I will NEVER go back to this Wendy's EVER! If you are struggling as the owner is suggest reaching out to Chik-fil-a for advice because their employees always seem to be kind no matter which location you go to. It's all about hiring the right people, training them properly and then enforcing it. Maybe you should hire only former chick-fil-a employees? I am never one to write a review about a restaurant or fast-food place, good or bad, but this place has not had professional or appropriate customer service both times that I have been there. As a delivery driver, I understand that my order might not be top priority, and I also acknowledge how busy it can get when it's one of the only restaurants open. That being said, I had to wait in line at this drive thru for over one hour and around 15-20 minutes. The workers could not be bothered to do anything and I had to remind them 3 seperate times before they waited until I got to the window to make it. Another night having to wait for 30 minutes after being yelled at for trying to enter the lobby..around 10 pm, the store itself does not close until 1 am. DONT do delieveries here & don't waste your time in the "fast food" drive thru. read more

I went to this location of Wendy's which is usually a fine location and ordered the #10 chicken sandwich meal. This meal took a very long time to come out which was strange because we were the first people in line and there were no orders before us, but I have worked in fast food before so I didn't complain. The food came out and I took a bite of my sandwich to find out it was completely raw, ridiculously raw to the point where it had to have been cooked for less than 1 minute. I brought it up to the front respectfully and was ignored for a long time and then finally they looked at it and brushed it off. Hadn't been to a Wendy's in quite awhile or any fast food for that matter. Thought I'd try this one near my apartment and I went through the drive through. Service was bad, food was terrible and the price was outrageous. Ok we're in a recession but these are definitely depression prices. The alleged hamburger surely was "cooked" some time ago, devoid of the promised bacon-- dry, unappetizing and cold. The cheese was a distant memory as it had long since melted, leaked out and become one with the wrapper. The fries were in the same emaciated condition and the drink was watered down. I asked if they could put ketchup in the bag, I forgot to order napkins, but that was my fault. Anyway they did give me ketchup--they put one sticky smashed one in and one sticky intact one--thank goodness for the one packet as it was the best part of the meal. As for me, I like ketchup, so when I asked the drive through attendant for a few extra ketchup packets for my order she bluntly and un-apologetically declared "we are out of ketchup..." I don't expect a lot from fast food restaurants, but I was pleasantly surprised today by this Wendy's. It was clean. The service was almost impossibly fast. My burger came with unwanted condiments and they immediately replaced it, with a smile. My 6 and 9YO enjoyed the toys in the kids meals. The kid sized Frostys are perfect. The music was enjoyable. Wendy's Long Point Road is super convenient to get to off of 526 and provides really good food fast and efficiently. The restaurant is clean and well run. The staff is warm and friendly and makes sure that you are taken care of and get everything you need. This is one of my favorite Wendy's to visit. This is also a good place to go to later at night when you are hungry. read more

The drive through is a little confusing because of the layout of the shopping mall where they are located, but there are some signs posted to direct people. Inside, the dining area is clean and the condiments/cutlery area is clean and well stocked. Staff is friendly and polite and efficient. My order was correct, even the "no pickles". read more

I love Wendy's 4 for $4. It's a good way to get my fast food fix for little money. This Wendy's was on par with most Wendy's. The food was good, though my fries were cold. The line to order food was quite long and I could tell the store was understaffed. The dining room was less than clean. The bathroom sink took forever to drain, and I had barely had enough room to wash my hands with them touching the water waiting to drain in the sink. There were just enough little things at this restaurant that prevent me from giving it a better rating. read more

I have not been to Wendy's in awhile. I could not hear the price of the meal. I pulled up and asked. She acted ugly and then was rude and I felt very uncomfortable because she would not take my money so I drive to next window and then she came to that window and was saying stuff.
