I don't typically review fast food restaurants, but this warrants an exception. Lisa is an absolute angel and excells at her job in customer service. From greeting every patron to expediting orders, she really does it all. It's extraordinarily rare to find someone who can be as passionate as a she is at servings customers at a fast food restaurant. The staff here is wonderful - we love Lisa and all the hard-working crew here. When an order is incorrect, they work quickly to resolve it with no attitude. Inside ambiance could be improved - in the winter, they were without heat for several weeks so it was quite unpleasant for staff and customers eating our meals in the freezing cold. Sometimes the fries are cold but they have a "hot fry guarantee" (I think all Wendy's have this policy) and will remake them fresh if you experience any issues. Two thumbs up read more

Ordered breakfast for drive-thru pickup. App was straight-forward. Drive-thru experience was alright. Got the maple bacon chicken on croissant. It was a good sandwich. The maple syrup was a game changer and made all the difference. The buns is not exactly a croissant. There is some flake to it but can't expect much from a fast food's definition of croissant. It is good for what it is but pricey for its size. The breakfast baconator was alright. It does not look as stacked as in the ads. Tastes just about what you would expect from an egg bacon sausage sandwich. This is a mid sandwich, as there is nothing out-of-the-world unique that Wendy's is doing with this sandwich. Also pricey for what it is. Overall, decent breakfast sandwiches for fast food but even so, the price is inflated for what you get. These are almost $5 for each sandwich. Are they delicious? Sure. Is it worth $5 each? No. These sandwiches are what I'd expect in a dollar menu when they had that back in the days. read more

Wendy's is the best of the regular fast-food chains, and the North Reading one is on the better side. It's located right on Main Street, right across from McDonald's (must be lots of competition!). They have a drive-thru, and an inside ordering area and eat in booths. Make sure to look for this location when driving, it doesn't look like many of the other Wendy's restaurants (... and I have been to so many), and is very often busy. Now, it's not their fault that EVERYBODY loves Wendy's. It's definitely a sign when the McDonald's parking lot is completely deserted and this restaurant is hopping with action. By the way, make sure to try out the Frosty's here, they are always so great! Love Wendy's for life, this location is pretty good, but unfortunately, unfeasible sometimes due to the amount of traffic this place derives. read more

I live a short drive away and come here occasionally. The lunch food is usually very good. The fries are ALWAYS awesome. I normally have breakfast at home, but today I was in the area and just tried my first breakfast there (sausage+egg+cheese+biscuit and side of potatoes). This was better than most restaurants in the area. The potatoes were amazing, and the sandwich was huge (I'm a big guy too - 6'6") I'm very surprised a fast food chain can do a decent breakfast. Went to north reading Wendy's which is a few miles from my house and got French toast sticks and a honey chicken biscuit. I get home and the French toast sticks had no syrup and the honey chicken biscuit had no chicken! Really?! No chicken on a honey chicken biscuit?!!!!! Such bad service. Great Wendy's ... Usually! I go to Wendy's once or twice a week for a quick cheap lunch at the drive thru. Service is faster than McDonalds across the street and I do like the food better. I forgot my credit card one day and had no cash but they let me come back later to pay and gave me my lunch anyway! 5 Stars for that! Service is good and food is good too. I go to a few different locations and this is the worst of them. I get the spicy chicken salad. They are cheap with everything but the chicken. Almost no cheese. When I'm in there all I hear is real loud laughing and yelling in Spanish from the back. It's to the point were I want to get up and leave my meal. The people working their are not nice. I saw a man handling money and then with the same hands put ice in a cup for a customer with the same hands. I went through the drive through on a rainy day and got soaked because no roof. I must have been real hungry last Saturday because it was not bad. I got the whatever size burger it was with bacon, cheese & their regular toppings. Decent burger, thick n chrispy bacon (and lots of it). Fries more like McDonalds (not the crap BK sells). This location is spotless & the service is very good.
