I ordered the baked scallops without the béchamel sauce (no gluten or dairy for me), my sister ordered the full-on baked scallops, and my mother ordered the fish and chips. My favorite drink (since living in LA and Boston) has been the French 75 - I was so pleased to see it on their drink menu! I would not recommend the El Diablo. The jalapeño tequila was beyond overpowering. We tried watering it down but it was not drinkable. The Amaretto Alexander was a delectable dessert beverage. We were disappointed with the service. We found ourselves looking around for our server and she seemed rather disingenuous. We all have off days. I still enjoy going there and I like the atmosphere. Like I said, maybe it was an off day. It was my birthday and we were excited to enjoy a night out for dinner after a great movie. There aren't that many options for gluten-free and vegan (if that's your thing). The bbq pulled pork, the mac and cheese were fine, and I didn't risk trying the dumplings, chicken fingers, French fries or chicken pot pie. The desserts, of course were also okay. The chicken broccoli Alfredo and the pineapple rice chicken dish were also okay. No doubt I would have liked it much more if it came with a few of my own comfort food favorites, such as meatballs, kielbasa and peppers/onion, pasta dishes such as spaghetti, American chop suey or lasagna - well, I could go on.
