Girls night out after work. Our first time here. Food was really good. The mozzarella sticks were delicious, the spanakopata was good, however, room temp to cool, when brought out. Other than that, not one complaint about the food from anyone at the table. Our waitress was very nice. Reasonably priced. All in all a good experience.

Great drink deals on certain days, especially Thursdays! Also awesome food served, but atmosphere could definitely be better.

Service was friendly and very knowledgeable. The drinks we got were great. Things to improve on: Priced a little high for what you get. Change the menu to much where they don't have anything on the menu you have to hear everything from the waitress which is hard to remember. We didn't try any food for the reason and for everything to be super pricey. I will be back to try again if I'm in the area, even if it's just for a drink!

The vibe is chill speakeasy/library; there's a comfy bar area with tables and then a warren of other little spaces where you can hang out as well, with books and games strewn about to peruse. I love that they have a small, curated menu, which makes it easy: Maine oysters (two kinds, both awesome) got me started with a martini (well OK two martinis; friendly bartender makes them *perfectly*), and then you can extend to dinner with a few rotating options. I got lucky because whoever is making this delicious food decided that bolognese and lasagna should have a baby and be served in a piping-hot dish with some bread and salad on the side, and who could be mad about that?! (NB get some red wine with it). And they feature the fabulous Maine martini (aka Allen's Coffee Brandy, to which I have been converted), so there's your perfect nightcap. Sometimes when you go to bars with small menus the food is so-so, but not here: everything was insanely good and the perfect portion size. Who knows when I'll be back in Bangor next, but I'll definitely come here again when I am. Check it out!

Then, throughout his entire speech, he is essentially begging us for money, several times. Almost forcefully, to the point it was uncomfortable, aggressively stating over and over that the front door tips are the only money they get and that we need to put money in his jar. Then, we go in. First girl on stage had some real talent. She was by no means a 'smoke show', however, her dancing was on point which drew me in. I made my way to the stage and put three dollars on the edge of the stage and she ignored me for a couple of minutes. So i figured she wanted more. So i actually put more down until i had 8 bucks neatly lined up on the edge of the stage. This clown ignored me until the end of the song, came over and took all of the money, said thank you and bounced. This place is a dump. If you feel like getting ripped off and treated like shit then you got a good hang. Otherwise, I would NOT recommend this place. All thats missing is the underlying smell of piss and mold. But I'm sure thats en route. Ive been to better strip clubs in the damn hood

The bartenders were nice and made good drinks. I will say that the woman working the coat room was a real bitch. I understand that I went on NYE and it was busy but she had such an attitude with everyone! Cursing and just being a miserable human. She couldn't find my jacket for about 15 mns and when I kindly reminded her about it (she took my ticket already) she caught even more of an attitude. The dj was kind of lame ..it would've been better if he played shorter songs instead of basically the whole thing,,I understand that he was catering to a VERY diverse crowd, but a lot of the songs just dragged on.. People-watching was bountiful here.

We walked over from the main strip of downtown and loved the vibe as soon as we arrived. Walking down the stairs to get to the brewery versus the glass blowing shop was so cute. With apples on the ground from the apple trees, it couldn't be more "Maine". When walking in, you order at the bar for both food and drink and then there is a booth/trailer out back where the food comes out. The inside is set up for open mic night and then outside they have a full stage where they host live music. There is plenty of seating outside at the picnic tables as well. We ordered a couple beers, the Margherita pizza, the potato chips, and the Carrot Top salad. I cannot tell you howwwwwwwww amazing the salad was!! I have never had a salad like this and I ate every last bite. The roasted carrots were so good, combined with the crispy onions and the dressing; it was heaven. The chips were incredible and the dip that comes with it just elevates it that much more. I believe it was a pickle dip of some sort? I can't remember specifically, just that I needed a vat of it. Then the pizza?! We couldn't finish it but man did we want to! Add all this tasty food to a beautiful backdrop and we were the happiest little foodies in Maine. Hands down best stop in Ellsworth!
