We ordered one 3-meat combo with garlic fries, one 2-meat combo with mac & cheese, a tri-tip sandwich with garlic fries, another sandwich with regular fries, and a large onion ring for the table. The ordering process felt unclear for both us and the server. Food took about 25 minutes to arrive. During that time, we had to ask multiple staff members for utensils and condiments (BBQ sauce, ketchup, ranch, and Tabasco). We asked three different times before receiving them, and by then the fries were mostly gone. Food quality was mixed. The sandwiches and sides were actually very good, and the tri-tip was flavorful. However, the smoked BBQ meats were very dry and the house BBQ sauce was not appealing. The dining room was also quite cold during our visit. Our total bill was about $200 for four people. At that price point, we expected stronger service and more consistent food quality. The restaurant used to be a favorite when we first moved to Patterson 8 years ago, so this visit was disappointing.
