One the better Wendy's I've been to. I would drive over to this Wendy's from El Cerrito, even though there were a few Wendy's closer. This one just really seemed to have better food. I don't know what the previous reviewer was talking about. The food is as fresh as you get from a fast food chain. The place is clean and has a really nice atmosphere. My review is based on my most recent drive thru visit to this location. The young lady working at the drive thru window was a breath of fresh air. What has happened to good service with these places?? beats me. She was very friendly and kept a smile on her face the whole time I was at the window. To put a cherry on top, she went even further to say "Would you like Ketchup with that? Thank you mam, Have a Great Day!" I purchased a chicken wrap and the tortilla was still cold , The fries Had TOO MUCH salt. But decent. The thing that shocked me was that when I went to the bathroom , THAT SHIT LOOKED LIKE HURRICANE KATRINA. they're were shit on the seats , piss everywhere , toliet paper everywhere. that was nasty and gross. so I dont think I will be back. With buddy. I wanted a spicy chicken sandwich, but the two ladies who were working ignored us for more than a minute when we had pulled up to the drive through. But instead of responding to calls, shut the drive through lights off. And ignored us when we pulled up to the window. We wound up going to taco bell next door instead, at 1:50 (there is an advert on the window at Wendy's that says open till 2am). I guess instead of enjoying a spicy chicken sandwich like I wold have preferred. I had to settle for Taco-Hell and will probably enjoy a flaming bout of acrid pestilence expelling from my bowels. Horrible customer service. I went there 2x in 2wks and both times had a horrible experience. I went and got a jr. Bacon cheeseburger and was utterly disapointed the burger had one small half Ass piece of bacon. And when i complained to them they seem disinterested and acted like they didnt want to fix my burger. Total disappointment on food, and customer service. My advice to whom ever reads this review, seek a different resturant with better service and food. Dont waste your time or money at this Wendys. Always check your order before leaving. First mistake a year or two ago they gave us a burger instead of a chicken sandwich. The Second mistake at another visit they gave me Chill instead of my burger and I drove all the way home before I realized this and had to drive back to fix it. Then just this Sunday they messed up twice on my order. I ordered a diet soda because I am Diabetic and they gave me regular. Luckily my husband and I figured this out after one sip and had them fix it but the mistake could have sent me and my baby (I'm 9 months pregnant) to the hospital with severe complications. Next as driving away I go to eat my burger to find out that I got a chicken sandwich instead. I ordered the number four which is clearly a burger but they rang us up for another meal instead. So we had to go back to fix the order again. Their Drive Thru sucks as the mistakes always happen with the Drive Thru. I will never go back to this location again. Stay Away! And each time they never offered to do anything to apologize for the mistake. Terrible service. Update*** The manager offered me to drive back yesterday to get my meal remade correctly. So she/he was asking a 9 month pregnant diabetic to drive back 45 minutes one way to get my meal remade correctly. Be careful in Pinole, CA! I'm posting this rating here because Wendy's site will not accept comments without receipt information. Of coarse, I did not get a receipt!! The young lady that took my order explained why I could not use their coupon with my order. I thought, what's the deal chicken is chicken on any sandwich. So, OK just give me a free frosty with my order. She then asked me what was I ordering for the free frosty. I explained she had just taken my order. She then explained she had already rung up my order and I needed another order to get my free frosty????.....My friends what happened to customer service? I'm 60 years old, don't talk to me like a child. Last, the food was not fresh. The produce was fresh but not the bread or the chicken or the fries. I came here tonight after a 14hr working shift at a restaurant serving people all day with a smile on my face. I am a General Manager of a full service restaurant. Tonight a lady by the name of percilla took my order at the drive thru. When i got to the window i asked if i could add one item to my order. She responded with " um sorry i cant add stuff at the window. We have a big line. You would have to go back thru." Really?? Thats like me saying to one of my guest who ask for something and i respond with sorry you cant have that. you would have to wait i am really busy right now. NEVER would i ever tell my guest that. It gets worse. So i handed her my money and while the window is closed i could her tell a guy that i wanted to add something and repeated our conversation as i cant hear her and her attitude. Now i am MAD!!! As she opened the window i told her that i could hear her thru the closed window, she shrugged her shoulders and turned around. I strive to leave my guest wanting to come back to the restaurant i manage. The last thing i want to deal with after a busy and long day is someone with attitude and give them my money to help pay people like that. I parked and went inside to get her name and talk to a manager. Well come to find out the guy that she was telling WAS the manager! He gave in the info i asked for. She walked up to us as we where talking and said is there a problem and i said yes your attitude. She tried to argue with me and i just smiled thanked the manager and walked out. I am not going to argue with the girl. He was kinda a nice guy but the question i have is why would he stand there and allow his employees to treat guest like that? I will be contacting the owner in the morning. People like her is why guest leave and never come back. Which hurts the owners pocket. Ok one person stops coming no big deal but i will be telling everyone about this. As i dont want people to experiance what i did. I am beyond disappointed. While I like the food, getting the food is the hard part. I was told to park out front and wait for them to bring it to me. Since there wasn't a parking spot directly in front of their door, I parked in front of the Wing place. After 20 minutes, I was tired of waiting and went in and asked what the hold up was. The drive thru queen was too lazy to look for me sitting in the parking lot with the engine running and headlights on. Worst place ever. I brought my kids here on Sunday afternoon horrible mistake. I placed my order at 2pm i didn't get my food until 2:25pm. I went to the counter and was met by Jot she is really disrespectful and yelling at another associate Rama from across the room. they contaminate everything they're on the register one minute and then they're grabbing someone's buns the next minute. they don't wear hair nets or wash their hands.
