Stopped on a road trip at lunchtime. Service was slow and inept--I would say it felt like the first day for two of the three workers except it didn't seem like first-day-cluelessness. The guy making my sandwich mistakenly gave me pepper jack cheese instead of the Monterey I asked for. When I noticed and pointed it out to the veggie station girl (who now had my sandwich) she looked totally clueless then got the meat guy involved again, then they poked around at the cheeses, then decided they were out of Monterey and just looked at me. If I waited for them to fix it or ask me what I'd like I think we'd still be there. My husband's flatbread came with Fritos (it was advertised on the menu board as having Fritos on it) yet both employees were adamant it didn't until he actually pointed it out on the menu board. Egads. Checkout went smoothly but that was done by the employee who had a clue. The bathrooms and dining area were clean. Overall we were not impressed. It gets three stars because, let's face it, it's a Subway. read more

Terrible. I believe at least one maybe both of these ladies were high. One was eating taki's and scratching under her shirt with her gloves on. She was leaning all over the cutting boards, her bare arms all over the cutting boards. The other lady was, well.... high as a kite she kept confusing our order. It took 20 minutes for them to get our subs half way done and then they walked away and started helping another customer. We had to ask them to come finish our subs and the high one says oh you want yours finished, I don't know what happened did you pay? It wasn't clean, they took way too long and why bother wearing gloves. Did I mention they were high? Will not be back read more

I go to Subway pretty frequently maybe twice a week here, and one of the workers, Thomas, is always working so hard and honestly not digging on the other workers but he's always the only one I see working and he's so kind and driven and happy so his customer service is truly a good representation, but I do believe that not only he needs a raise, but the other workers need to be supportive and helpful with him. I'm not there the entire time while subway is open, but I do frequently visit and I know what I see and it seems Thomas is doing a large majority of the work while others are not as motivated. I wanted to write this review a couple months ago, but I'm glad I'm doing it finally because he still motivated and he deserves this review. read more

Stopped in on our drive north and found the most ignorant and rude employee ever in this place. I ordered the Cali that the menu says Avacado slices. What I got was a spread that was dark and old onions. When I asked about Avacado slices I was told they don't have any. What I got was old brown spread. I told the girl making it they should change the menu. Then the women at the register proceeded to tell me I was rude and ignorant. Who hell does she think she is??? I had to throw the foot long out because I don't eat brown Avacado or wilted half rotten onions. Being it's in Georgia this place ain't no peach. I would steer clear of place that can't serve fresh food and ignorance. read more

Oh my gosh! Terrible experience! Seemed like reverse discrimination. When we pulled up 2 African- american male employees were sitting on the curb smoking (smelled like pot but don't know if it was from them or someone else) My husband (middle eastern) walked in to get us two pretzels. No one got up to go take his order and there was no one else in the place that he could see and no one answered when he yelled "hello". After a couple of minutes another african american male customer walked in. He walked out when there were no employees inside but the two on the curb got up and went in to wait on him. They spoke very little to my husband. It took about 15 minutes to get two pretzels!! read more

Inattentive, unfriendly, mumble when asking you questions, don't make the sandwiches properly and above all lazy and slow. Won't take money over a $20 bill. My total for 3 sandwiches was $29.00. I pulled out a $50 expecting $21.00 back in change. They refused the money. Made me walk to the gas station to get change. Is it bc employees steal, owner refuses to keep change?I'm not sure if it's one or both. Won't be back. This is why I leave our small town of ridgeland to go and eat. Posting this review everywhere I can. The short lady that's always working during lunch time is extremely unpleasant to say the least. I work near subway and go here frequently on my lunch break since there's not much to choose from in Ridgeland. I usually deal with her rudeness and just get my food and leave. However, today she was being rude to people because they didn't speak perfect English and that really bothered me. She has never had a name tag on when I go in, and I can't help but think its because she doesn't want anyone to call her out by name. Anyways, I ordered a 12 inch Turkey with extra cheese and I got to the vegetables and asked for onion and she said they don't have onion. I couldn't hear/understand her because she is shorter than the glass and whispers when she speaks so I said "I'm sorry you don't have onion?" And she brought out an attitude and said "we DON'T have ONION" so I said "okay. Never mind I don't want the sub" because who wants a sub that isn't complete? She didn't even acknowledge that I spoke. She just moved my sub out of the way and started speaking to the next guy in line. No "I'm sorry for the inconvenience" or even an "ok" for that matter. The guys in front of me in line didn't speak perfect English, and she was extremely rude to them. She asked if they wanted chipotle sauce on both subs and they said "chipotle on both" and nodded their head, she rolled her eyes and said "yeah that's what I just said" then looked around at other employees and customers for validation on her bullying attempt. After every vegetable they asked for, before they could even get anything else out of their mouth, she was barking "what else" over and over and over again. I honestly heard this woman say "what else" at least 15 times while I was there. Then when they went to checkout, they had a $100 bill (yes it says nothing over 20s on the door) she LITERALLY laughed and told them they cant use that, and again looked around for validation. Extremely unprofessional and rude. Thankfully pizza hut is a bit closer and sooo much friendlier. if you're getting off 95 to stop for a bite to eat, I definitely would recommend pizza hut, or boat n rv. They both have much friendlier staff! If you're dead set on subway, there's one off exit 33 that you're way better off stopping at, the employees working there are always extremely professional and super sweet. read more

Stopped in for a late lunch. Not a customer in the place. Stood at counter for awhile while the staff were busy talking to each other. Walked away to wash my hands came back and was finally greeted. First half of sub made but no one else had time to break away from their conversation to make part two of my sub. I asked lady #1 if someone was coming to do it and at first she just ignored me. I repeated myself in easy hearing distance of two other employees to no avail so I told them to keep the sub and left. I enjoyed incredibly attentive service by Myra Simmons and delicious homemade BBQ at The Grill a block away. I did reach the manager Dawn at Subway and she seemed genuinely appalled and invited me back for a complimentary meal. No thanks. Who wants food served from rude staff. Ate early lunch to bypass a traffic jam on Highway. Two gentleman who were working were very kind and took care of us quickly. .i always get the turkey Italiano with a bunch of veggies..sandwhich tastes good. Facility was clean for most part but apparently the womans bathroom was nasty as i was about to enter and a woman sitting with her family said don't go in and use the men's bathroom. I'm surprised at the negative comments- I am thinking maybe they have fixed those problems? My husband and I stopped in on the way back from Charleston SC to Florida. It's about your average Subway shop. The establishment itself is very nice and it's in a safe and well-lit area. Sandwiches were yummy, food was fresh. Bathrooms were very clean. I'd recommend it for a quick bite to eat, since it's right on the highway! read more

Always multiple people on shift but usually only 1 person actually working. They have a lot of difficulty taking orders and then try to multitask without success. Took me almost 15 min and 2 credit card transactions to leave with my 2 sandwiches with only 1 person in line before me. read more

I ordered a 6" Italian bread hero tuna with some black olives. When I bit into the sandwich, there was no tuna fish but 3/4's of a pound of black olives. This is beyond lack of training and failure to supervise a corporate employee. I don't understand how this particular Subway is still in business. I have never encountered a negative attitude from a Subway associate before. Ridgeland has sent me a strong message and I will not stop there again. read more

Stopped in at 4:00 on a Saturday. No one in the restaurant except the 5 employees, who were all busy talking to each other. I was ignored until a second customer arrived about a minute later. He ordered a sandwich that had to be cooked, and his order was finished before my cold sub. Very poor service. read more
